Hey when do you wanna go record the river story?
How about night time😂
😄
And because they havent built any reservoirs in So Cal in 45 years its all going right back into the ocean...
They got more important issues like gender affirming and other nonsense.
@@Sam-oo6wy they've been removing my comments for ten tears, I've been in FB jail about 12 times, I'm canceled and blocked on Musks X now for nearly 4 months...What's New?
And now we have to drink recycled sewage
There's no place to put them in LA. The urban area is built up right up to the allowable edge of the river.
@@nathanvalle6997 I lived in california for 11 years. Reservoirs are never built in populated areas, they build reservoirs miles outside of the city.
Stupid or not, that is a good man who jumped in after his dog. Just shows how much we care for our pets.
yea, but imagine he died.stupid move. luck was on his side. that water is flowing fast
Back in 1992, the river looked like that, and in my neighborhood (Reseda) a kid fell in and they couldn't save him. Rescues are unbelievably difficult when the water is moving that fast.
He is probably now in debt for that rescue.
GOOD! The dog made it out without his help, he should be arrested and charged!
@@PhukJoeBiden shut up !!!!
When there are storm conditions like this, you shouldn't be within 50 yards of a wash or river.
What a shame they don't have reservoirs. WASTED water!
God has flushed the toilet to get the shot off the sidewalks
What are these sanctuary cities going to do when they have a national emergency like this? If they’re temporary housing is at capacity, what are they going to do for their citizens?
They will give you a cardboard box but the illegals will get a motel room.
The same thing their doing for the homeless citizens now, Not a damn thing!
That rushing water is No Joke
The last time the water was that high was the El Niño we had back, I think, in 1981.
The dog didn't need rescue but the dummy did.
🤣🤣🤣Pets usually survive… they have.. animal instincts 🤔😐😂
At least the rivers will be clean
That was an impressive rescue.
Look at all that funk washing into the oceans. 😔
Yeah that dirt is pretty funky!
@@user-ke9yk5qp3u It's all your excess running off. Brake dust, oil, tire rubber and shit. Keep laughing as nature eats you alive. Have another serving of micro plastics.
Go back and watch Terminator 2. That scene where the T-1000 is chasing John Connor on his dirt bike? It's in the LA River. That's what it looks like 99.99% of time. What exactly do you think should be done to capture water from a once-in-a-generation event?
@@alexanderdgray It was a once-in-a-generation event last year too. Nature gonna nature.
Poopie, syringes, the lot..
I was born in Long Beach in 1956... and I have seen the L.A. River water lapping over the sides and flooding Willow...and P.C.H.... it happens... from time to time
Went wading in the East LA River, with cement shoes on, got in over his head. Rockford Files
They should have some rain catch basins set up all over So Cal. Even if it only helps a little it’s something.

We have been praying for this, especially Lakemead. We provide the water for Los Angeles and other states . We need this. Since when do you wish for less rain ???
DOGS!! do not jump into Rivers!!!! You have been warned.
The water is like hey, we want our land back. They took it now we’ll take it. 😂
plan ahead so your dog doesn't go near rushing water
Somebody was thinking when they built these canals
The Los Angeles river looks like a river during heavy rain when there’s muddy water flowing over the concrete. The Los Angeles river would look nicer without concrete but Los Angeles got flooded before it was paved on top of. What would Los Angeles look like during rain storms if the Los Angeles river never got paved
Why did the man go towards the river?????? Why do people do stupid things?????
Gavin Newsom is probably trying to figure out how to tax rain that falls on your property.
You: trying to figure out how to smoke a cigarette and eat potato chips while reading your Bible in your mobile home park and watching Fox News at the same time.

"woa, dude, like it's raining, time to go to French Laundry and get drunky" -- Gavin Newsom
California went through 20 years of drought. I hope they are going to be smart now and sequester all that water and use it to slowly irrigate tree plantations to absorb any more flood waters that happen in the future.
LA SEWAGE river . Hopefully it helps people. 🙏
LA River is where lots of "Stiff" are planted; but nothing grows there. Rockford Files
They didn't pay enough carbon tax to make the rain go away.
And by July.. They will be crying they are out of water.
We need find better ways to capture this water.

For a garden??
The LA River doing its job.
It would be great if rivers were like this all year round.
Lets start an online petition with mother nature, this river is bullshit. It really should be full year round.
This is why all those old school white guy investors in LA before WW2 did back door deals to build the canals. Save everyone from flooding, not just profit.🕶️ (Chinatown)
Woe dude
It pea size ice hail today 2/6/2024 in Valencia at 2pm for like a few minutes
It’s actually a river
one of my fears is drowning
prob is none of that water is going into are groundwater as the concrete is stopping it
This is nothing but good for la. The river is a dry, ugly wasteland. It helps wash and clean trash, as well as wash the homeless away. It’s built to withstand this so not a single person should be complaining
Do you really "have to tell us?"
All that water just fllowing into the ocean so they can tell us that we are in a droought this summer haha
Maybe the salmon will be running again

Animals will survive before you do. 🤔😂

Can Moses walk on that fast moving LA RIver? only Jesus would know. LOL
No, Jesus is too busy handing out handguns to African-American kids in Chicago.
The end has begun
Idk why we don't reclaim this water. We need it and we just let it all go to the ocean.
That’s because it isn’t cost effective to build and maintain the infrastructure needed to capture and distribute water from infrequent storm events. At that point, ironing out desalination would be the way steadier option.
It's also a crime that honest hardworking grown men risk their lives every single day performing highly dangerous jobs like tree work, high voltage electric work, highway maintenance, high-rise construction, bridge building, etc. barely making enough money to survive. In the meantime, big kids playing ball games ⚾️ 🏈 🏀⚽️ are getting several million dollars per year. This is absolutely wrong and disgraceful. No wonder no one wants to work. No wonder our power goes out every time we get a few little puffs of wind. No wonder we're having so much flooding devastation and total devastation of entire communities from tornadoes and fires. Now all it takes is some rain and our power will go out. Serious financial misallocation. Don't forget the national drug crisis. Fentanyl is rampant. There are simple solutions, but not enough people truly care.
Yeah that’s what happens when it rains. Why hype up the story!!!!!
👍🐶
weak soft man
Well you should build dams, backward place
