Juan Pablo Ayala Hey. Nice to hear from you. How are you? It would be nice to make some videos with you. I finally leave tomorrow though. The hotel is pretty good. They have very fast internet there which I really appreciate. I will have more videos of Guadalajara, Aquascalientes, San Luis Potosí, San Miguel Allende, Querétaro, Zamora, León, and I think about 5 more cities. I wanted to record a lot of video before returning home.

Kind of annoying, and somewhat offensive to keep repeating, " this does not look like Mexico", or to say that it looks like the US,if anything it's a back handed compliment. It's a modern city and not the stereotype you had in your head, deal with it.

I’m glad you noticed that also, this guy is a total asshole. Thinking that all of Mexico is poverty. That’s what’s wrong with Americans, they want to believe it’s all dirt roads and donkeys. They think Mexico is primitive.

I like this channel, but I see your point. "Modern" is not a synonym of "American." United States is not the only "Modern" country in the world. Many Americans do this when they go to countries that are "third world" to them. I hate that.

Mejor dicho, no terminaría nunca. Qué gran país, me hubiera gustado nacer ahí.

This offended you? I'm sorry you get offended so easy. You shouldn't let simple words bother. What I really meant is this looks the the USA in this area. In the central part of Guadalajara looks 100% like Mexico. The US has nothing that looks like Central Guadalajara.

50% percent of Guadalajara has always look like this (at least since the seventies), which means that your comments confirms the stereotype that Americans are very ignorant or at least 50% ignorant about Mexico! If you go to Mexico City and other places you will also find many places like this one. Apart from that, your video is very good!

Most of Guadalajara's west side looks like this. Nothing out of the ordinary for this city. Many Mexican cities have this vibe, including Monterrey, Culiacan, Chihuahua, etc. There's definitely a southern California vibe in these areas.
Parts of Downtown LA look like old town Guadalajara. Maybe parts of El Paso too.

Hi, just FYI. Most cities in Mexico do the closing of the streets on Sundays or any other day. In Tijuana for example is bike night Friday. I was born in Guadalajara and have been living in the states for 27 years but I will definitely go back to Guadalajara to retire. They have every commodity we have in the states, except dollars LOL! Its a very stunning and beautiful city 🙌💖

You obviously don't seem to know I have been continuously travelling outside the USA for over 9 months now non-stop. Now. And as far as Mexico I have been to about 10 cities in the last few weeks. I'm leaving Guadalajara today and I will see 6 more Mexican cities. As far as Guadalajara I have been here about 6 times. The real reason I stayed at this new hotel is because my regular hotel in the historical center was full. It is also nice to feel like I am home for a little while. Plus lately while traveling I have stayed at places where the internet is extremely slow it doesn't work. It is nice to stay here with an internet connection that is over 100Mbps. If was to stay in Guadalajara long term I would stay close to the center.

Carmen Martinez What are you talking about? Just because it looks developed and first world doesn't mean that the local culture is like the US or Canada. México has one of the richest cultures in all of Latin America, Guadalajara included, so it's certainly not lacking in that department. And although it looked nice in this video, make no mistake about it, there are parts of the city that he didn't show that definetly don't look like the USA 😉

india is the 6th largest economy in the world. that does NOT mean it is a wealthy country. india is still a third world country. the people are largely poor and uneducated. you have to look at wealth and income distribution, access to education and healthcare, GDP per capita, HDI development. mexico is still lagging behind in many indices. the only latin american countries that are developed are argentina, chile and uruguay
      cheers

Theres 1.4 Billion ppl living in India, theres 120 Million in Mexico, we still have a good 50 Million poor people in Mexico among many other issues, however it doesnt qualify as a "very poor country" you make it sound like its Somalia or somenthing, its really not, you can get medical healthcare for free to cure your cancer, and you can go to University for free, which is very nice, nice weather, nice cities etc.

Keep visiting cities in Mexico, keep traveling around this country and you'll see what Mexico is.

Max Cruz If Argentina is richte, because it is not in the 15 richest countries, besides, Mexico is not the only migrant, also Centroamerica and South America that migrate illegally, but the Gringos always confuse use. Besides Mexico is the richer in Gastronomy, Biodiversity, Industrial Cars, Tourism and human heritage.

You can get a yearly bike rental for pretty reasonable. And they close the roads in the major cities to allow people to have a place to get out and exercise. Maybe if the US did something like that the world wouldn't be tilting on it's axis from all of the obese people.

    • @pvs092
      @pvs092 6 лет назад
