Beautiful fly. I always come to your videos to help me tie any fly’s. Thank you
Edit I am a 13 year old boy who loves fly fishing and fly tying and goes up to labrador every summer to get my salmon and fish for massive trout.

Great variation on the Connemara black and a sure killer. When I fished in Connemara no one used a black fly from what I saw, they were all green flies like the Green Peter. Makes sense 👍

Another great tie, my wife says your videos are very calming and meditative.
May I ask what vise and scissors are you using at the moment, I got a cheap combo off eBay to start and it is a bit loose and clumsy and the tips of the scissors aren't great.
Thanks for the great up to date content.
    Cheers.

Love that one especially the mix of colours, I only have dark olive dye have been wondering if I could use a little flo yellow to lighten up the colour but a little hesitant to ruin materials, many thanks yet again for a perfectly demonstrated dressing 👍

Love the traditional flies but could do with some early season saltwater ragworm or a shrimp pattern suitable for the clyde estuary on opening.. Last season i had trouble with fish being non committing as i was using traditional wets when the fish were fixated on spawning ragworm or brown prawns and hardly touched my flies .. I took one small fish on a butcher and it coughed up green ragworm and big 2" brown prawns. .. I have nowt to imitate that kind of prey
