Grew up in the 80s in white meadow. So many old faces i knew. Thanks for the smile !
Thanks for a favorite memory , we moved to this neighborhood from Newark in 1960 , father was a heavy equipment operator & Rockaway location was perfect for Rt. 80 construction . Felt as if we had moved to Sherwood Forest .!
I lived on Crestwood Rd from 1956 to 1961. This brings back great memories. I particularly like the ending from the “mica mine” under the water tower.
miss those days...............much simpler then
Lived on Crestwood Rd. This looks like up the hill on The Block where my brother hung out. I recognize most of these faces
I grew up on Stephan Place, not far at all from the Mica pot and the water tower. Crazy to see this NOW.
Nice Video Hippy, Fellow Rockaway resident. Love the screaming guitar in the background
Nice memory of home. Was this area between Morris Hills and the water tank?
3:25 you're correct, you can see the tower, it's on the intersection of Robert St. and Mountain Rd.
wow! who did this? I know every house and half the faces in those pics!! Great job! Who are you and who owns those pics?
3rd son of McArdles is the only 1 I recognized
