I’d argue giants have better synergy with ogres since chaos has so many monsters that fill various rolls. Plus those funds that could’ve went to a giant could’ve went to something more impactful like a chaos knight

Anyone else kinda want to see life lore get a WoM increase just so HE bring something other than some combo of life mage, dragon prince RoR, and either Imrik or Tyrion? Love this game, love watching MP replays, but I roll my eyes almost every time a HE player's roster is even finished being discussed because I already know what's there.

It's kind of the crux for HE in bad mus. But I get it as a viewer, though usually when you take tyrion it's because you're intending not to take a life mage

I often take Teclis but he has Regrowth so take your point. Bret is even worse, absolutely nailed on it’s going to be Lore of Life with grail units and peasant chaff.

I think regrowth should get further nerfs so that it isn't an autotake for bretonnia and a lot of HE builds. Not to mention the empire war machine healing. But if it was to be nerfed HE would definitely need buffs elsewhere. Silver helms getting a bit better AP split is what is usually being suggested.
