Lived in Dumont from 1955 to 1972. I can hardly recognize it now. I remember the Dixon Homestead Library, the Old North Reformed Church, and what used to be the County Trust Bank at Madison Ave and Washington Ave, but not much else. My first job in the mid 1960's was at the A&P Supermarket on Washington Ave, which seems to be the "Bottle King" now. Still looks like a nice quiet town. Thanks for posting.
