Returning back from Catalina Island on a Bayliner 4788-Review of the sea conditions

- The second video showing the size of the waves, the distance between swells in seconds, and wind and comparison to what was shown on the Windy.com app(a great app) for planning crossing from Catalina Island to Marina del Rey as a planning and forecast tool.
I do not see too many videos show wave size and swell distance so plan on doing a couple of these this summer in different Ocean conditions.
Please let me know in comments about your thoughts and other items I have left out that you would like to see in future videos.

Hi Peter, I am very happy with the boat, great layout and reasonably priced for a 50 foot boat. I will be doing videos on how I bought it, the survey and the mechanical as well as the haul out. A lot of editing but plan on it this month so stay tuned
I do appreciate the cruising time and you’ll get into the nitty gritty of motor yachting pros and cons. Everyone’s a critic so ignore the negative and hold fast to the positive base. The overall boating community is very supportive and a lot can be learned through us and you are a welcome member to the community and team. Video editing and sound is a pain in the ass, but you’ll learn the ropes just as one learns to slip the slip, pun fully intended lol. Oh and I for one love the longer videos plus if needed pausing the video is always an option.

Hi I am using the pro version of Windy. Agree with you that early morning is always best, given the boat is 50 feet, even the windy waves in the afternoon are not too bad, just not as nice of a cruise back
I was looking at a 4788, but moved off of it because of roll issues.
Why have you stopped making videos? Did you sell the boat?
