Is there a pattern in chess that works 85% of the time? There is a beginning position that if preformed perfectly, you might have a 50% chance of a favorable behavior. We try and find the best setup and then we improvise when it fails. No one has the luck to No Death levels 1-6 and then take 7 to the Jack before dying. If you play perfectly, you can still die. Yes, you should give it a go. It waits for great players to try and conquer it :)
Yes, the game IS that random. Basically, what happens is you put runs, do the best job you can and wait for good RNG to come. Though, I believe, even terrible RNG can surpassed with right decisions on the spot. Like, re-watching this attempt, I see my mistake in trying to jump kick Soya. I should've probably stuck with the fat guys instead, and this might've been a no death honestly. I made a bad decision and I lost " Maybe I should give it a go " - is that sarcasm? If not, then you should definitely give it a try, I think sor2 Mania needs more attention and interest from people. It's a very difficult, but awesome game :)
