I feel like the snowy plains is a biome that doesn’t get much attention but is always nostalgic when you come across one
I totally get what you mean. It feels like one of the biomes that has changed the least over the years, and I like that about it a lot.
@@CheeseyStudios
Can't fix what ain't broke, am I right?
@@venomfan2020 you are!

What do you mean by that
You need to ad a player BASE, it makes thé Minecraft world More like a survival smp @@CheeseyStudios
Wake up, new video by Cheesey Studio
Get hyped \o/
Usually they show up somewhere during the early evening / late at night for me.
I think you should add a failed Arther Portal as an easter egg somewhere in this Moc.
Also you should add the new spooked Steve to the Deep Dark!
I plan to make my own Minecraft layout sometime soon, and I also had the same idea of making a failed Aether portal with water flowing out of it, lol.
That would be quite funny lol - I'll see if I can squeeze it in! I'm hoping to do a Deep Dark expansion, so that might be a great place for him :o
@@CheeseyStudios That would be pretty good and ironic. While having it on the surface would be people's first instinct, the irony of trying to make a portal to a "heavenly" dimension to escape such a dark and terrifying one---and failing--- would be a cruel but funny twist of fate.
@@shinymk6562I think he meant the Steve lol
sand green is literally the perfect colour omg.
Right? I'm so glad LEGO has so many different shades of green. It's been awesome being able to accurately depict the different biomes.
yea its my fav lego color
When I started, there were so many colors I didn't have, as I basically had only my collection from childhood. This color is for sure on my list to branch out into more parts for groundwork, vegetation but also buildings. A really versatile color.
The only thing I don't like is the fact of waiting 1 month, great build can't wait to see what you do next.
Lots of great things in store yet! It's gonna be a big year for the series.
Mastery takes time. You cant rush art.
How does Cheesey Studios make a 4 minute episode in a series that's usually around 9 minutes into something that's still satisfying and complete 😂
I don't think anyone knows, not even the Cheesey master himself.
35+ episodes in, I must have figured out the formula 😂 I can believe how many episodes there are now...
@@CheeseyStudios Me neither... I remember way back when I found your channel right before the amethyst geode episode came out and I went back and watched all the other episodes and got hooked
The snow biomes are my favorite biomes in the game! They just seem so peaceful!
Until you accidentally hit a polar bear
Same reason :[]
real
A mod that adds more creepers adds a neutral yeti type that even fights hostile mobs in snow biomes he is a fluffy buddy.
I like how simple this module is, its a nice space filler and an example that you dont need a super complex piece for a display
I'm glad you like it too! These are always a nice change of pace
The snowy plains have always been one of my favorites, I know it’s such a random biome to have as a favorite but when it’s surrounded by a snowy forest it’s a perfect spot for a base :)
Right? I do like the vibes. Peaceful, quiet, snowy wonderland :)
favorite part of the start of a new month
Gotta start the new month out right :)
Oh Yeah. :D
FR
Watching that brown plate disintegrate before your very eyes was painful. Module looks great! Looking forward to seeing the start of the player base in the coming months!
Brittle brown is truly the bane of our existence
I've never had a lego piece break in my lifetime. The only exceptions were some of the bamboo leaf parts that I got in a collection and maybe a sword or a shield from a 40 years old castle set. Someone else broke them, but they somehow ended up with me.
For those browns, Is there anything you can do to prevent it?
@@pinobluevogel6458 unfortunately, as Cheesey said, you don’t know if it’s brittle brown until it’s too late.
@@nimbus7727 Sounds scary.
@pinobluevogel6458 in my experience its always been brown shades :(
Small and simple. The perfect description to a transition module.
Nothing better than a (mostly) peaceful Snowy Plains to fill some gaps an allow for breathing room.
I can't wait for the Dripstone Cave expansion!
(mostly) peaceful xD
Next episode is a fun one! But the one after that is going to *hopefully be really epic!
@@CheeseyStudios 👀
Even though it's a simple module it just makes the whole build look so much more natural, awesome build👍
Thank you! Really glad you like it
@@CheeseyStudios I look forward to your next builds!
I honestly love the biomes with less going on, I feel it gives the world more room to breathe
Yeah! I really agree. Feels a lot more natural this way.
Tiling time 🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥
That was a very satisfying part to watch. For some reason tiling is even better than laying bricks.
In my opinion the regular green tiles fit more for jungle biome. Because in the game jungle grass s a bit darker and more green-ish than in temperate plains (because plains has less colorful grass). So it would make sense to switch tile colors between jungle and plains.
Interesting! I certainly prefer it as-is, but I wouldn't mind seeing someone else build a world that way.
Something about hearing "Mice on Venus" with LEGO bricks clickety-clacking in the background just makes my day! Keep up the awesome work, Cheesey!
Appreciate it
Used to watch this guy all the time can’t believe he’s still going
I'll be seeing this through to the end, don't you worry! :)
I just LOVE this simple models of the world, in a real Minecraft world not all chunks have a structure, so having this little spaces in between just make the world more realistic, you should make more of them!
If I had infinite space, I'd love to go absolutely crazy with modules like these... The world would feel so much more realistic!
Day is better when Chessey studios uploads 😁
:)))
A nice break from the more cluttered builds of the past, it works like a charm
Right? It really does help spread things out quite nicely. Glad you like it too!
Cheesey's grandparents reading the Christmas gift list: "Let's see here honey, Jimmy wants a lightsaber and a skateboard, Leah wants this big LEGO Marvel set, and Caleb... wants a bag of Brown 2x2 tiles... didn't we get him the same thing last Christmas?"
lololol to true
Very nice! It's been a while since I checked on your channel, and i'm amazed to see that you're still keeping this up! Don't stop and keep up the amazing work!!
Don't you worry - I'll be seeing this through to the end!
@@CheeseyStudios Glad to hear that! Have a great day!
You too!
This build gave me a newfound appreciation for the snowy plains biome 👍
There's a simple beauty in the biome! It's a lovely winter wonderland.
These are the perfect videos to watch while eating lunch honestly
Even Cheesey can't escape from Brittle Brown!
Brittle brown has been brutal to the very brown LEGO Minecraft world 🤣
It’d be pretty funny if when you build the player base, you stuck a zombie under the bed underground. The player will always have monsters nearby.
lol, that's not a bad idea 😂
Love this Biome transition. The birch tree sets the contrast clearly and those figs just add something colorful to look at.
It's a simple one, but in context I think it's really nice! Still waiting for the Minecraft world to return from Chicago. Once I get it back everything will be together once again! 😂
You should make a desert temple next to the og desert well. That would look so cool!
Hopefully I'll be making it happen later this year!
The entire episode I was wondering why there were two holes in the module, but then I realized that’s where the players dug down from! How did I not notice this in the cave module?!
Yeah, ha! Those guys never heard to "never did straight down" it seems...
Im terrified about how quickly our final tiling time is approaching DX
Don't worry, there'll be quite a few episodes yet :)
The smaller models are always satisfying to see the gaps get filled
Right? Everything is slowly, but surely, starting to come together!
Coolest thing to do once this is complete is to recreate the entire layout in actual Minecraft
Funnily enough, it does exist in Minecraft :O ruclips.net/video/wT7UQXXm1gY/видео.htmlsi=oLcw1VmPo_TXJ4e5
You should have loose items at the bottom of the creeper hole so that it looks like he died. Just a fun idea!
Good idea!
Suggestion: you should make a module of someone strip mining for daimonds or someone using tnt to get netherite in the nether
That's a good idea!
Even for such a small build, it’s still very good!
I'm glad you like it!
This one was really cool! I love it when you go back and add on to older builds!
There's a few older builds I'd love to revisit - especially some of those caves, to add more ores!
Me when Cheesey makes another video: “Finally, it’s been like a month!”
I make weekly videos, just saying :o
@@CheeseyStudios yeah but for like the Minecraft Mocs.
I love these little tiny more chilled out modules. They’re simple and open :)
Glad you like these too! It definitely is a nice change of pace.
love your videos! I have watched the whole series and am waiting for more!
I'm so glad you enjoy these! Lots more to come :)
Also I was trying to move an Uruk Hai’s legs (and you know how expensive the lord of the rings figures are) and it just snapped off! Like seriously? Thanks dark brittle brown.
That's awful 😭😭😭 Those figs are so hard to replace, too...
I reckon the finishing touch we need at the end of each video is seeing it slot into place in the layout :)
Unfortunately, I don't actually have the world at the moment lol - most of it hasn't made it back from Brickworld yet! Otherwise I always do put it in place :)
It's so refreshing to just have these small modules with not much going on
Keep it up!
Agreed! I'm glad you like these too
Something I think might be interesting - One of those oddly generated chunks. A floating island, a physics-defying mountain, not outright glitches, just weird hiccups in the generation engine. I think it'd help add some of that exclusive "Minecraft" feel. It's not perfect, but it has its unique charm.
(Not to say your build isn't perfect, I would pay big money to see it irl if I had the chance)
That's a good idea! I'll see what I can do
This one is simple. And I LOVE that about it. Great mobs, great piece usage, great model. Awesome job Cheesy studios!
Really appreciate it!
Seeing these videos always cheers me up! Appreciate all the work which goes into them
That means a lot. Thank you
Gosh i cant believe how old this series is already, i remember first coming across it when the mesa badlands was the most recent addition and that was two years ago, it doesnt feel like it was that long ago
Time flies. It's been bonkers
this is so cool! looking forward to see more amazing builds in the future
Thank you! Lots more to come :)
that sand green lego color is gorgeous, i gotta get back into lego/lego minecraft
LEGO Minecraft in particular is such a fun style to build in! I'd highly recommend it.
I love the little dig down holes at the edge of the module, makes it much more interesting to look at (and the little player in the water from the previous module is still so good lol)
The brittle brown hurt to watch a little lol, ive got a full bin of that from lotr, potc, etc and it hurts so much to find it xD
Brittle brown is nightmare fuel honestly lol
I've been watching your videos for some months now - RUclips recommended them here and there and I almost always clicked.
Now I finally subscribed and I really feel the need to tell you how incredible I find your entire channel.
All the way from how you build the Minecraft MOCs (which are absolutely stunning) all the way to the production quality of the videos, the elaborate thumbnails and the sympathetic voiceovers, I am just so glad I found this channel.
I really, really appreciate it! Glad to have you here. I always wanted to bring a level of refinement to the LEGO space. I think some professionalism is what it was missing!
Brown was brittle because of the dye they were using reacting with the ABS. They changed the dyes and now it’s better but if you look very closely you can actually see the color difference.
I didn't realize there was a color difference! I'll have to check that out
I always look forward to your Lego Minecraft episodes! 😀👍
I'm so glad you enjoy these! :D
The sweet sweet tiling time(tm) never fails to make my ears feel like their listening to something out of heaven
Ha! It's always my favorite part too
I love this series so dang much bro. So glad you kept it going cheesey!
Don't worry! I'll be seeing this through to the end :)
Nice and small and simple, gets the job done
Indeed! It's a nice change of pace I feel
It would be so awesome to see a trial chamber
You'll have to check out the full playlist - you'll find a Trial Chamber episode in there! :) ruclips.net/p/PLsKt5PwQV-mN840c6DfXd1uuhc5Frnx42&si=o32hKtfLG9eZBAI-
Great work, saw this irl it was amazing. Keep it up!
Ay, awesome! It's always fun brining some new modules to show a bit early at Brickworld :)
Really hyped to see a man made structure at some point, excited to see how you tackle that
Great video Cheesey
Thank you! I'm excited for the player base as well - should be pretty cool!
Brittle Brown strikes again!
Love seeing another update :D Always so satisfying, Lego was definitely perfect to accommodate Minecraft.
It's the best crossover ever in my opinion!
Pretty much off topic, BUT I saw you using the BSL shader when you show Minecraft footage.
You need to try complementary 5.2 (newest version) and turn advanced lightning system in performance options on.
It looks easily BETTER than Bedrock RTX, (I tried rtx on my own). But the performance is even better than BSL.
I never was a huge fan of complementary shader but this just looks insane.
Additional Settings:
-set to reiamgined
-clouds to vanilla
-make water more blue
-no wavy stuff
-more saturation + Brightness and contrast
-enable PBR! Set it to 200
+bare bones, fresh animations texturepack
+distant horizons
Boom
Just discoverd all this and played around with the shader settings. Everyone NEEDS to try this, if they do one thing in Minecraft it should be to install this shader and turn advanced colored lightning on.
Ha! I'm impressed you even pegged that as BSL right away. You've proven yourself to be an expert! If complementary works with Mac well enough, I'll give it a go!
I've been watching you for 2 years now, and I've enjoyed the journey of you building this huge world. Keep it up👍
Thanks for sticking around all this time!
What an amazing short build can't wait for the dripstone cave expansion
It's a good one! Excited to share it with you all next month :)
It was really awesome seeing the layout at Brickworld Chicago!
I'm glad you got to experience it in person! It'll be back, bigger than ever next year :)
This was so cool to see in person! Took me a while to find it at Brickworld, but it was worth it.
That convention hall is crazy, isn't it?! Glad you found it!
Someday I'd like to see you tackle either a huge surface module, or entire chunks of underground caves.
a really really SPECIAL episode, though I am ignoring the negative side of things such cost, time, and all that stuff.
However this is just as relaxing as finding out the game for the first time, keep up the builds cheese man!
There's a few big, big episodes I'm hoping to do before the end. Hopefully I can find the resources to make them happen! :D
Aside from doing a stronghold a big module you are going to have to do is a Dark Oak Forest but the reason it will need to be pretty big is because you are going to have to do a Woodland Mansion in it, you don’t have to do the inside of the Mansion but the outside is going to be really big and need a lot of gray and brown, doing this will let you include more Vindicators, Evokers, and Vexes to the world
Have you seen this episode, by chance? :o ruclips.net/video/rQzlRkLuJyA/видео.html
@@CheeseyStudios yes I did but you didn’t do a Mansion yet so you are going to have to do another Dark Oak Forest module so you can actually do a Woodland Mansion
My favorite monthly ritual!
Gotta start the month out right!
I love how you always add a bit of personality to your builds
Thank you!
I have just rewatched all of you're videos in this series and noticed that you don't have a goat YOU NEED A GOAT!
I'll be adding a few to the mountain :)
Don’t know if you have any plans for it, but I’d personally love to see a mega taiga build. The giant pine trees, podzol, and mossy cobblestone make it such a unique biome.
I might be able to squeeze one in! We'll see how it goes :)
Really cool display
Thank you!
I really love your videos, I think you are a very talented lego builder. You also inspired me to try doing similar things with my own lego minecraft mocs, so thank you. Also, I think a module including a dungeon would be great!
I love to hear that! So glad you're feeling inspired. I'm really hoping I can hide a dungeon up in the mountain module somewhere.
It's so sad that I live in Russia and can't become a channel member. Your channel is my favorite, and it's one of the only channels I want to become a channel member. Love this minecraft series so much, too bad I can't support it(
Please make a creeper hole with a player fixing it right besides it.
Nice video btw.
That would be kinda funny too!
It’s a learned trait to build mossy castles in snowy plains biomes. Every player has and will build one. Love the video and hope to see more soon! Definitely becoming a channel member.
We'd sure love to have you! There's a lot of fun perks :)
I look forward to an expansion with the Trial Chambers in the coming future, and hopefully Lego will release their own Trial Chamber set next year
Fingers crossed! I'd love to get an official LEGO bogged skeleton and breeze.
Yes finally a mention of the player house. I can’t wait
It's gonna happen wooooo
I’ve asked for a player base for so long and it’s finally happening
It's been a very popular suggestion! I'm glad I'll be able to eventually make it reality
glad you are still continuing this mate :)
Me too! We're gonna see this through to the end. :) It should be pretty epic
Hope ya do something for the end dimension
"Say your a genius without saying genius!"
Cheesey Studios POV:
Lego paint brushes as torches
:)))))
Its a pretty cool module, i just wish we could've seen it with the rest of the display
Unfortunately the rest of the LEGO Minecraft world has not made it back from Chicago yet lol
Yay I’ve been waiting for another episode even if it’s a simple one it’s still cool to see happen.
Glad you enjoyed it!
With all the possibilities with the minecraft worlds, I'm sure we can find a world with the same structures and layout as your lego world!
That would be legendary!
Nice little short video to make a transition piece. Epic 👍
Thank you :D
Lovely build, Cheesey!
Really looking forward to that player base. And, although it might be a little late, have you considered adding the tiles you used for the savanna to surround the desert and blend it into the surrounding modules? In game the grass turns yellow when approaching the desert so I think it’d be a cool detail to add, even though they don’t have regular 2x2 tiles in that color
Yeah! I would definitely like to do that. I've kinda been hoping LEGO would finally make a 2x2 tile in olive green first. For some reason, they haven't yet!
@@CheeseyStudios Very strange indeed
I absolutely love this series your amazing at building ❤
