Great video, Thx a lot, I'm reading Database Systems, A practical Approach to Design, Implementation and management 6ed, it's a good book, so I arrive at the normalization.. about 30 pages, but didn't get so good, You in 26minutes, explain so good. I would like to see rest of your video( for additional understanding)
Excellent video, was very clear. Just one doubt. In the scheme of the time 25:00 we have Address table which contains the columns City and State. My question is: is there a transitivity relationship between this two features?, Could I know the state knowing the city and therefore need to create another column with states and city separated from address? I am no quiet sure if the name of the cities are unique in EU. Please answer the question assuming that they are unique, I am not trying to correct the video I just want to know if I understood properly
would you accept that normalising the many telephone number per student would not be needed if you identify each number as a different attribute, i.e. Home, Mobile Work etc...?
Hey Brian, You did an amazing job explaining normalization. You made it so much easier to understand. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for breaking it down the way you did. Also the excitement in your voice made it much easier to focus also.
Best explanation of Normalization I came across! Subscribed.
Best explaination yet! I've already been building databases, but for homework making esoteric descriptions is a challenge.
I'm glad you found it useful!
Thanks. This is one of the best videos about Designing database. I appreciate.
Brilliant explanation! Thank you for making this I'm gonna come back to it several times :)
This was really helpful to understand normalization for my database management class!
Thank you for making this accessible.
