Thanks for removing the background noise in the resto, most of it anyway. Much appreciated.

Ted Greene is the master of the telecaster. When guys like Tim Lerch cite Ted Greene as one of his biggest influences you know that this guy must be good. I've known this for decades now (yeah, I'm an old 58) but many younger players don't know who Tim Lerch is let alone Ted Greene you know that videos like this one are genuine historical gems. He's a fantastic improviser and wanders the neck with ridiculous ease that one viewing is just not enough. Thank you for this absolute gem of a video, with the AI getting the restaurant noise down making it beautifully listenable, and I'll be watching it again and again. Thanks again. - Mark from Australia.

I showed this video to my mom who loves jazz, first thing she said after listening for a couple seconds was “he’s the Bill Evans of the guitar”. I couldn’t have said it better.

Ted Greene's modern chord exercises has reshaped my brain and how I think of chords and melodies. Especially when you start trying to improvise with his exercises as templates. Twice is sweet since I also play a telecaster 😁

Amazing job of suppressing the background noise on these priceless videos, thank you for all the hard work!! Little would anybody have known that these Friday night performances at a now defunct local eatery (not exactly a marquee venue) would be immortalized as rare documents of Ted Greene’s genius. The diners probably didn’t pay much attention to the guitarist in the background, but decades later WE are grateful to have this!!

More great playing from Ted. He seemed to like keeping his playing on the DL but those who were aware of him knew the greatness they were witnessing. Thanks for posting this and keeping his memory alive for those of us who loved his playing/teaching.

Yes, Ted usually tuned his guitar down a 1/2 step, or a full step....and sometimes even more. The audio on this video is correct.

Ted, once again you have provided us with another banger; however, I am very distraught at your use of AI to suppress the identities of the people watching. Personally, I feel as though the sounds of the audience add to the atmosphere of a piece, and the use of AI dehumanizes your authenticity. Furthermore, the use of AI to alter your authentic sound feels quite unethical in my humble opinion. Great work again, Ted, but, please heed my words.
