I think putting 2 baskets on the top shelf of the skincare tower labeled 'donate' and 'expired' will help her keep from cluttering the shelf and motivate her to keep up on that. Eventually things won't expire and she can donate even more to those who can use it. Great series!!!!

Yesss the hoarders heart channel uses this by having a declutter/donate box and trash bin readily available. I definitely think this is useful especially if you have lot that comes in and out of the house constantly. That way whenever you come across an item that no longer serves you you can donate or trash/recycle the empty’s and such.

Also, keep a bin for the aesthetician school. My mother was a cosmetologist for over 50 years. She always kept a bin to donate items she didn't need. It really helped the students. When she retired, the beauty school git everything and was so very thankful.

April, I am an organizer too and what I have learned over the years is that if you stand in the middle of a long hanging rack, it's easier for the client if you make an invisible dividing line in the middle of the rack and all the clothes on either side of that line face the middle. In other words, face all the clothes to the left of the line facing right and vice versa. that way you are always looking at the front of the garment. Just an idea.

Hi April, hope you are doing well. I have a quick comment about color coordinating clothes. I personally have never done this because I have very few clothes. But, for a "collection" like this person has, I can see where that will enable her to see how many of each type of clothing she has. And, IF she wants to do a cleanout, it will really simplify things. However, the first time she does laundry and goes to put stuff away, I think you can say goodbye to the color coding, but I could be wrong. Good job wither way and she is lucky to have your help!!!

19:07 actually, bending sharp curves in cords like that breaks the wires inside. You’ll be better off looping them into a circle that follows the natural curve of the wire and then taking the end length and looping it in and out around the curve which holds the loops together without stressing the wires. About as long as three loops of the natural curve. (I used to build wire harnesses and have a lot of experience with electrical and data cables.)

Its nice she has a separate room just for her skin care products. Someone in a previous skin care video suggested dating the bottom of a product as it comes in, would help to keep up with expired ones.

Most cords have a "natural coil" which is better for storing and maximising their lifespan. Short term it should be ok but it's not ideal if you can avoid it :)

It's called a 'styler' I think- seems to become more prevalent in Korea, I've even seen other videos where rentals, even studios, come with it included, as an appliance. You put clothes in there to deodorize, sanitize and even de-wrinkle, in about 30 minute cycles. I guess it comes in super handy, especially in Korea, where if you eat at a mom and pops place or a barbecue place, it can take days of airing out clothes to remove the food smell...and even then the smell will still linger on the clothes.

My thing about all that skin care is that there’s no way that anyone will be able to use it. I understand that she’s an influencer and that her job is to review different products BUT, in order to review a product accurately you have to use it for an extended period of time, during the time you’re working on one product, the next one on the shelves already expired! Plus, some of those products might be counterproductive to use together so a review would be totally inaccurate. The reality is that most of those products will not get used at all before they expire and it’s just soo so so wasteful. Influencers should filter the amount of PR packages they receive, or if your plan is to donate them then you have to be extremely proactive and on top of things and donate it as soon as you receive them. No one can convince me that this amount of products make sense “for some people”. It just doesnt.

I could swear you said she was moving from this place & you were helping her purge & organize before the move? it just seems that was quite a while ago... maybe it's just me!? But I saw a video where you & Jackson went over to Eunice's to pick up things you had stored there previously & now that she was moving you were taking them back. I always feel like I missed something even though I try to watch all of your episodes April. It would be so helpful if you could title your videos - Eunice's Closet makeover then Pt 1, 2, 3 etc. i know this says pt 5 - but what if you are new to the channel. "stressed & overwhelmed by Her closet" ..Maybe bcse the videos are spread so far apart? Maybe you'll clarify more as the video goes on....

She just moved and this is her new place that April is again graciously organizing for her. April is a wonderful friend!!! They look like they have a great friendship!!!!

Hi! This is her new place! Maybe the confusion is because the video you saw was a different video from this series. And Eunice was actually living in 2 apartments for a short time so we were going back and forth while they were waiting to find renters for the old place. Now she's all moved, but I had started this space before the rest of the home was moved. All of the videos should be in the playlist section or will have the # part on the thumbnails and titles. Hope that helps!

It's actually smaller, but the lighter interior and big windows with all that natural lighting make it seem bigger!

You'll be back in another couple months to the same shambles of a closet. You just keep doing it for her.

I love Euni but she needs to find a solution that is intuitive for her, not an easy task but I agree this isn't a permanent solution at all
