You should do a video about how Jordan was clearly better than Bill Russell. A few key factors: Jordan averaged more blocks than Russell. If you look at the box scores, Russell never blocked a shot in his career. The talent concentration was obviously better when Jordan played. After all, when Russell played the talent was spread out among 8 teams. When Jordan played, they had to expand the number of teams ensuring that each team could have multiple hall of famers. Jordan won six titles in six finals. Russell only won 11 titles despite going to the finals 12 times. 6/6 is a higher percentage than 11/12. Sir, let's be real... Anybody with a brain knows lebron played better competition then mike, but his stans are so in denial that they believe Jordan was out there playing against world beaters in the nba finals and has the audacity to try and compare it to lebron's competition.
@@Ghost-rb6cw Even if you could defintively prove LeBron played superior competition to Mike in the finals (which you can't), LeBron still lost to his competition, getting embarrassingly swept in the Finals on two different occassions. Jordan never lost to his supposedly 'inferior' Finals competition. Therefore its a moot point to even bring up the argument. Dirk Nowitzki played the Spurs in the Western conference semifinals in 2006 and beat them in seven games. The Spurs had three future hall of Famers on that team, while Dirk did not have another future hall of famer OR current all star on his team. Dirk proved that it is possible to beat a stacked team without having so much help. This is something LeBron was never able to do (And Drik proved it again in 2011). LeBron got swept by the Spurs the following year in the NBA Finals, the same team Dirk had beaten the year before. Now we can say LeBron was young and inexperienced in 2007, right? Then let's fast forward seven years later to the Western conference playoffs of 2014. An old Dirk and an ancient Vince Carter pushed the Spurs to 7 games in the first round of the WC playoffs. This same Spurs team would go on to gentleman sweep LeBron and his THREE OTHER future Hall of Fame teammates in the 2014 NBA finals, blowing them off the floor by a record margin! Explain to me how a team with FOUR future hall of famers gets blown off the floor in five games in an NBA finals, while a team with two washed up Hall of Famers pushed that same opponent to seven games in the same playoffs? And THAT my friend, is exactly why it is impossible to say team X is better than team Y until you actually see them play one another! And it is infinitely more difficult to attempt to do so when comparing teams across eras, which you would have to do when comparing Jordan's opponents to LeBron's opponents. Jordan played in an era where defense was emphasized, which would dictate what players would make up a roster back then. LeBron for the most part, plays in an era where offense is emphasized. So that dictates what players would make up a roster in today's game. And just because a team has more talent on paper, that doesn't mean they would defeat or dominate a more well constructed, and diciplined team. Lebron is the leading All Time Scorer, made it to 10 NBA Finals, and averaged 28.9 PPG this season, at age frickin 38.
In 1986-87 league scoring average for teams was 109.9 ppg Jordan in his 3rd season 23/24 years old 37.1 ppg 4.6 apg .484%effective field goal percentage. 27.8 shot attempts 40-42 record In 2005-06 season the league scoring average for teams was 97.0ppg Lebron in his 3rd season 20/21 years old 31.4 ppg 6.6apg .515% effective field goal percentage 23.1 shot attempts. 50-32 record Jordan shot more and played weaker defenses. The average 80s athlete wasn't good at all compared to the 00s to today. The bigs were taller but slower. The guards were smaller and less athletic. Also the 6-0 was not an individual accomplishment. Throughout the 90s Jordan relative to the competition had a better supporting cast than any other #1 scoring option on any team. Bob McAdoo 3 scoring titles George Gervin 4 scoring titles Allen Iverson 4 scoring titles James Harden 3 scoring titles Russell Westbrook 2 scoring titles Joel Embiid 2 scoring titles And I could name a dozen more with scoring titles and zero rings as the best player. I think both players have a case to be made for the GOAT debate, but as time goes on, Lebron's case gets better and better and better. So much so, that when he retires, there might not even be much of a debate left. I mean, Lebron just made it to the Conference Finals at age 38. MJ was playing slightly above-average basketball on a sucky Washington Wizards team at that age. Still, I do think MJ has a case to be made, just based on how good he was in the 80s and 90s. @@amandadraws8682 What happened to Jordan in the 80's then? Both him and Lebron won their first title around the same age.
You should do a video about how Jordan was clearly better than Bill Russell. A few key factors:
Jordan averaged more blocks than Russell.

And if you still don't believe me, then explain this:

Bill Russell is the GOAT. 11 Rings.
In all seriousness, with MJ vs Lebron, it's down to Peak (MJ) vs Consistency (LeBron)
MJ had a 37.1 PPG average season in 1986-87, and won 6 Rings in two NBA Finals 3-Peats. That speaks for itself.
Lebron is the leading All Time Scorer, made it to 10 NBA Finals, and averaged 28.9 PPG this season, at age frickin 38.
In 1986-87 league scoring average for teams was 109.9 ppg
Jordan in his 3rd season 23/24 years old
37.1 ppg 4.6 apg .484%effective field goal percentage. 27.8 shot attempts
40-42 record
In 2005-06 season the league scoring average for teams was 97.0ppg
Lebron in his 3rd season 20/21 years old
31.4 ppg 6.6apg .515% effective field goal percentage 23.1 shot attempts.
50-32 record
Jordan shot more and played weaker defenses.
Bob McAdoo 3 scoring titles
George Gervin 4 scoring titles
Allen Iverson 4 scoring titles
James Harden 3 scoring titles
Russell Westbrook 2 scoring titles
Joel Embiid 2 scoring titles
And I could name a dozen more with scoring titles and zero rings as the best player.
But people look at Jordan's points and think that means he was contributing the most value to his teams than anyone when scorers have never been the most impactful players.
@@juju-vl7oj Everything you stated is true, and I'm not contesting any of it. I just gave an extremely simplified outline on what I feel are the two's major strengths for the GOAT debate.
I would argue that Regular Season Performance, Playoff Performance, Finals Performance (Yes, even including Ring Total), Team Quality, Average Player Quality (In the League at a given time), Longevity, PPG, and Shot Efficiancy all should factor into the debate.
I would say it's almost undisputed that they are the Top 2 NBA players. #3 is usually given to Kareem. #4? Well, that's another debate (Kobe, Bird, Magic, Russell, Wilt, Duncan, Shaq).

@epic7608 nah bruh we ain't doing that. LeNeedsHelp failed again
@@basedjiren3889 you thought you did something
Man they struck the shit out of this video because it was SO truthful and an actual representation of big J journalism.
I love the channel and literally will continue to watch/support, however we can’t play the clip game. Bron has just as many if not more clips of every criteria you mentioned. Bron benefited from playing in a weaker era and still accomplished less. Even your own clips defeat your point, literally one of the “defense” clips said Jordan had 5 fouls which explains his hesitancy. Can we apply the same video to Bron and have a longer video? Yes and there is no doubt about that
No way did Lebron play in a “Weaker Era”. Most of the opponents for the Bulls in the two 3-Peats were much weaker Finals teams then a lot of the current ones (Minus the Lakers and Sonics). They all imploded so easily against the Bulls, and were never really seen as serious threats to actually beat them.
@@romanramirez7847 Crazy thing is. There were no facts in what you just said. Just opinions. Look at the stats and the actual games. And get back to me
@@BlackTanjiro1 Opinions eh? You Jordan fans make me laugh. It’s common knowledge that they were weaker teams. But keep on hyping up your “GOAT”.
@@BlackTanjiro1 name me a top 20 team mj played in the finals and get back to me. Because last time I checked lebron beat 2 of the greatest dynasties ever to get his rings.
@@WakeupAlexx lol Bron is 2-5 in Finals vs these "dynasties" which Spurs don't qualify for because they never repeated as champs. If other teams could beat Spurs and take Warriors 7 games there's no excuse for Bron getting dominated by them 😂

so much cope. embarrassing, honestly.
You should do a video where you rank the top 20 or so NBA players of all time by their high schools
Robert Horry is the true nba goat
taller than lebron and MJ
Better shooter
Has more rings
Hit more iconic game winner
what else can you ask him to do???
@@KOCChristian and he’s a hunk!
And slaps the nightmare in you like he did Chris Rock 😁
Never clicked so fast on a new video in my entire life.
MJ IS GOAT 💯💯 至今 無人能及 甚至無法比較 他獨自閃耀著光芒 🌟
The biggest reason why Jordan is better than LeBron is because MJ’s Space Jam is so much better than LeBum’s.
I dunno why; but man, your sarcastic videos just don't have the same punch they once did. Still here for the content though. I know one day you'll make good videos again.
I guess we won''t see a flopping comparison video here
