Casually freaking out as Chilled messed up his notes in the first round because he was too busy talking about his dictatorsh... I mean, presidency. He marked which cards Courtilly might have shown earlier in the game, narrowed it down to the fact that she must have had the Conservatory card, and then decided that on her guess that no one could disprove that she must have had the rope card instead. The moment he did that I was so ready for it to end up being the rope in the end. Spoilers: It absolutely was.
Completely seriously, I started watching this group because of their Clue games so I am so excited to start the new year with this

Working with servers sometimes you would know they were coming to the kitchen because you would smell them before they entered the room. And I'm like chilled where I get headaches from that scents.

Chilled has my vote for the banning of colognes and perfumes! I break out in hives when exposed to most scented items (perfumes, colognes, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, make up, flowers, etc.). It really sucks when I find an unscented product that I actually like and then they discontinue it.

My dad and I are both allergic to most scented products. Perfumes and colognes are the worst. Just walking along and oh i can't breath. Great.
I can tell that Chilled has never moved countries because it can be impossibly expensive to move with an animal. Finding a new good home for it is frequently the only possible option.

As someone with asthma and a lot of allergies, perfume being overwhelming is awful. Used to work at a restaurant, and there were ladies who would come in smelling like they dumped the entire bottle on themselves. We'd be sneezing, or having instant migraines, having to suffer through it.
I just replayed clue for the first time in 14-ish years so this was exciting to see!

For the record, English cucumbers come wrapped in plastic b/c their skin bruises super easily. The plastic helps them to not bruise in transit.

I think its wild that zoomers are discovering Clue this late. Its like "Dude, EVERYBODY played this when we were kids! Like Battleship and Monopoly!" And then I remember that they were playing CoD or Fortnite or whatever at that age and I feel like the physical embodiment of the "Old Man Yells at Cloud" meme.

I really feel like chilled is having a hard time with chemical smells more than cologne/perfume.
Can you imagine if they outlawed perfume/cologne and they had to make the smell equivalent of a speakeasy? Also, I can't wait for them to play T-KO and someone to make a shirt that says "The government takes our cents, now they want our scents."
In terms of the second debate on mandated labor, I don't work retail, but I do work in an Amazon warehouse, and I don't think mandating work in a warehouse setting is the way to fix that. I've found that I am less empathetic to warehouse workers and customers than before I stared working there. A good amount of workers phone it in to make the rest of the team pick up their slack and tons of customers order things they could easily get for about the same price at a local grocery or department store.
In terms of the third one, if the owner goes to jail for refusing to take care of their pet, presumably the pet will be put up for adoption after they are jailed. The pet doesn't go to jail with the owner.... right? The only issue I see is for those who didn't own pets as a kid, but want to try owning a pet as an adult. Those people won't know the responsibility it takes to raise and care for a pet. I think a better solution than going straight to jail is that you have to pay "pet alimony." You lose ownership, but have to pay someone else to raise your pet, be that an individual or a government-run pet center, you get none of the perks and all of the debt. That would make people think twice about getting animals they can't take afford to support. However, if they could not pay the pet alimony, then they would go to jail and pay it off from there.
Oh and for the movie theater one, I'd probably go to the movie theater less than I already do, since I don't get popcorn like you do, so I'm basically getting an extra up-charge on my ticket so other people can get cheaper popcorn.
Wouldn't it give retail owners even less reasons to treat their staff fairly if there are legally mandated to work a certain amount in retail anyways. There wouldn't be any need to worry about people quitting on the job if there's another person lined up to work for their mandatory hours.

I'm allergic to most deodorants. It took some time to sample a few, but I found at least one brand that is safe. Also, the few times I wear cologne, it's usually between layers. So you have to be within 1-on-1 conversation distance to notice it.

The pre-wrapped cucumbers are English cucumbers, which have different processes for safe storage, transportation and selling. Once it's opened, the English cucumber doesn't last all that long

I think his policy should be essentially mandated public service for a year only, more than a year and he loses me. There should be options of what you work in like retail, postal service, healthcare or another public facing job that has entry level positions
That is exactly my take on it, one year should be just fine as it should give enough of the experience and then you can move on hopefully learning something. Ever since I left college and entered the work force full time, I've seen all sorts of entitled people arguing with the Customer Service person trying to help them because 'The bill for is too high', 'It's taking too long to make the order', and so on. I was working Phone Customer Service/Billing for a company at the time, so I knew what it felt like to be chewed out by someone over something that is no fault of my own and I had no power to do anything about but the person thought that yelling would get them a faster or better solution. Squeaky Wheel Gets The Grease, I guess.
But I think if people had to do a year of supporting themselves only on Entry Level Support positions, they would gain an understanding of what so many people go through. Even if Daddy's got a cushy job in his Law Firm for you after Law School, you still need to do that one year where it is your only means of supporting yourself. No running to Daddy Warbucks because you decided you couldn't handle people yelling at you and took a few days off and now you're out of a job... Too bad, so many people go through that... Maybe now you'll think twice before yelling at your server.
Funny thing about the president takes is that one day me and my friends were playing DND esque role plays and one was talking about presidency/history stuff and how any of us would do as a president. You wanna know what they said about me theoretically being president? That I would be immediately overthrown by the people. And I suppose that would be because I’m more of a chaotic neutral force that ping pongs between good and evil.

Cheese on Brocooli is for taste not caloric intake. As a kid, it was the only way I could even eat brocooli because of how much I disliked it. It's still one of my least favorite vegetables and I tend to ask for 'No Broccoli' if it's included in a meal.

See, chilleds mistake at the beginning was the fact that he marked orchid as having the rope instead of the conservatory. Sure, orchid could have had the rope, but they HAD to have the conservatory because: he knew it was the billard room, and everyone else was marked with an X. This meant he didnt have it, it wasnt the answer, and the only option left was orchid.

I've met Kane Brown in passing at a truck stop, and my mother has served (as a waitress) Hank Williams Jr, as she works in the same town he has a home in in Tennessee.
My mother worked some form of retail for the majority of my child hood. She's still a Karen. I've seen her make a cashier cry over a penny. She fully understands the bs she does, she's even asked me if I've had customers like her.
There are some people who know the system and use it to their 'advantage'. Me, I see people who argue with someone making their fast food order, like it's going to go any faster or that Subway Sandwich Artist is going to somehow give you extra toppings or free food or something. While in line, assuming I wasn't holding anyone else up, I'd just chat with them about their day, their life, etc. Some days I'd hang out after eating and socialize while I waited for my bus, again so long as not holding anyone up. Occasionally have gotten free things from it, but wasn't my goal, just trying to make people feel better because I know how draining a day of Karens can be.
