Yes I agree but also I still stand by the fact that women should have say so over there OWN bodies. I’ve watched a documentary of a lady talking about why the government is taking the freedom of abortion from women. Her response was because the whites are being over populated by the black community/other race, meaning how could we STAY on top and control things if white women has the highest abortion rate. They want those babies born no matter what. I don’t think it’s fare to have your rights taken away as a woman who has control over there own bodies. Some women get raped and can’t control the fact of an abortion. Some have health issues. People go through things in there lives that they should have control of what happens next NOT the GOVERNMENT. I think the government issue is about race population.

This video is so blasphemous I can hardly believe it. It may be catchy and have a good beat but the message here is social acceptance and tolerance. This is the same message that so many artists embrace nowadays and I certainly do not have any hate for anyone but this goes completely what the Bible says about homosexuality, murder (abortion), and sexual promiscuity. I’m guilty myself of listening to music like this and then find myself singing the lyrics as I go about my day because of how catchy songs like this are and that’s dangerous because it’s so easy to become desensitized to mainstream media and the social agenda that’s being pushed on all of us. I think Miley is a sweet girl and it appears that she’s very happily married (to a man), and has a great family support system and often includes her mom in a lot of her business affairs as she eluded in her video; but it is very clear to me that she has been swallowed up by Hollywood and any remnants of her humble upbringing in Nashville are probably long gone at this point in her career. All I’m saying is that it’s ok to not agree with what message she is portraying here and you don’t have to agree with or participate in pushing the social agenda that’s being displayed in her video. We are all entitled to our own opinions and believe me I am not here to judge anyone who agrees with her message. I am however going to communicate the Biblical perspective here and say that this video is not ok and Miley should be ashamed of herself for making such a provocative video that millions of young fans are going to see with just one click; fans that may be too young to understand the politics that are in this video and think that this kind of BDSM-style video is normal and just for entertainment. There is a clearly a message displayed here and my fear is that this agenda will soon become reality and those who try to live under God’s law and reject the LGBT lifestyle (& abortion, etc) will be the minority, and then be looked down upon for not accepting or advocating this lifestyle. I really had no intentions of writing an essay on the downfall of the mainstream media of today, I just felt a strong to comment on this because I fear for today’s youth watching this and think that this is ok. That being said, I’m so disappointed in Miley and I hope it’s not too late for her.
