@@skell6134 She got a few demonic skills, two to make a demon head rise from her shadow and attack, and another to turn her into a demon monster with increased stats.
Then again, the anime didn't really explain this but Maple actually spent 6 hours on the Hydra just to get poison immunity and another 6 hours killing it using DoT (Damage over time) since her teeth probably deals 1dps to the boss.

I love how frustrated the admins were when they tried to limit Maple's powers by nerfing some of her gained abilities. Only for her to haphazardly combine her skills with something else because she thought it would be cute...and she's boss again.

I love how the main antagonists’ pride is the stakes rather than their actual lives, so when the competition is done they awkwardly accept to hang out with Maple and are not truley cruel people at heart.

Yeah, it's a game without the life and death stakes of SAO or .Hack. So after beating their butts it's like "wanna grab a soda?"

for the question of Devs trying to limit her shenanigan, they still doing it, but mostly in areas that normal players (but maple, and only her) aren't (and still don't) knows it yet.

If someone haphazardly just threw a bunch of BS together and actually did this, people would then copy it and break the game, simultaneously getting the company more money/players, but also having them destroy the game. It'd get reduced to a meme build
While it's never really to such an extent as this, due to people lacking any kind of imagination or brain outright and just following other people's builds, people do find broken shit, copy it, bring attention to it, then get it nerfed.

@@TherealRedShadow Fun fact: Every single RUclipsr that made hate videos about SAO made at least 20 each and many made over 100 hate videos on why they hate the show. A quick 2 minutes of saying they hate it would have been perfectly fine but they described every scene after watching the show over 100 to as much 5000 times just so they can say how much they dislike the show. Its the exact same with people claiming they hate Star Wars sense Disney took over the franchise. If you really hated a show you would not watch it at all let alone over 5000 times.

This is the anime equivalent of a new player in Dungeons and Dragons managing to roll natural 20s on everything after asking the DM things most players would never ask, like: "Hey, can I eat the slime?"
I've actually played with a young woman online who put on armor with terrible attributes primarily because she thought the armor looked "cute". Challenging to protect her, but usually worth it.
Man, playing dnd with people who usually don't game can be a blast. I once had a cleric ask to use her holy water (she started with it) to try and cure a curse on an npc. As she was trying to replicate a 3rd level spell I asked her to roll a DC 18 (15+3) religion check. She succeeded. Later she asked if she could try and do the same, but in reverse to recurse the npc after learning they were working against the party. I had her roll another religion check with disadvantage and she still succeeded. She actually chose knowledge cleric with expertise in religion which I didn't know until then.

There are some things that are missing, so I'll try to add what I can.
4:32 The dear didn't kill Maple, in fact she didn't take much damage at all. She was just stunned for a very, very long time.
6:56 Maple didn't participate in PVP at all, she was playing checkers with Kanade and Kasumi in a cave. Sally did all the PVP.
7:12 After the second event, Kaede was picking up habits in game and bringing them to the real world, such as thinking she has a shield. She decided to take a week off to adjust this influence.
7:56 The hidden dungeon Chrome found has an entry requirement of dying at least 1,000 times in the game. The abilities of the equipment includes a 1/3 life drain, recovering hp whenever taking damage, recovering hp whenever he kills anything, and finally every time he would die he has a 50% chance of surviving with 1hp.
8:19 The white armor is made specifically to give Maple more hp. By that time there are skills in game that would ignore defenses and deal true damage. And since Maple takes all damage from loving sacrifice, AOE true damage skills are a large threat, so more hp would help her survive. It is not as defensive as the black armor, and since devour and hydra are equipment skills, she can't use these skills when wearing the white armor.
9:10 Slight error here. The three skills she got from the boss were predator, oozing chaos, and atrocity. Predator summons 2 auto attacking demons that has their own stats, and oozing chaos buffs the predators. Atrocity is the skill that lets Maple transform into the monster.
9:27 Machine God was added in by the devs as a last resort type of skill, since it would destroy all weapon and armor the users was currently wearing. However, Maple's armor only gets stronger every time they are destroyed, so...(The white armors are not indestructible, btw)
13:36 The self-destruct almost worked, since Maple was down to 1 hp, and only survived because of the stout guardian skill she got when fighting the ice bird.
Also the order of the last event was slightly off. They started with Sally stealing all nearby orbs she could while the rest guarded the base. This allowed Sally to map out the area and they drew some of the local smaller guilds to their base (or the bases of other teams) to weaken them. Over time they enter phase 1.5 where a few members other than Sally head out to get orbs and a minimal guard is left at base because they needed more points. During this phase Sally is ambushed and Maple has to rescue her with her machine god form which leaves the base open for a member of Holy Sword to attack. He almost gets away with the orb but despite the deaths of a couple of the defense team Maple and Sally get back and he is killed and the orb returned. Thus they move on to phase 2 which involves sending out Maple and the girls to attack other guilds including the flame emperors. Despite beating them there is only a minor bonus because so few guilds were remaining nearby because the smaller guilds were falling to the death penalty. Thus they decide to move on to phase 3, wiping out as many guilds as possible to ensure they keep a spot in the top 10(?) and get the reward that all top 10 guilds get. Before they can actually enact their plan they are attacked by Payne and his group and a few deaths are suffered and Maple has to resort to her atrocity form to win. Due to the fact that she can't cancel out the skill without losing use of it for a day they decide to just rampage and kill as many guilds as possible. Using broken skills like shadow clone and whatever skill it was that made the shadow clones real they rampage around murdering all the smaller guilds and enticing F.E. and H.S. to do the same (helping out F.E. in the process) thus resulting in the game ending early because so few guilds were left that they would all get the same reward anyway.
Wasn’t the 50% chance of surviving when killed effect could only be used once per day?
@@somerandomdumbass3398 Maple has a skill "Stout Guardian" which allows her to survive any 1 fatal attack at 1 hp once a day. Chrome has equipment that is 50% chance to not die all the time. Because his is not guaranteed it is not limited to once a day. Theoretically he could keep surviving lethal hits forever if his luck is going the right way.
Think it was actually the explosion resist skill she got from eating the bomb bugs

My favorite part of Bofuri is the fact her god powers came from a mixture of dumb luck and creativity. One of the powers she has traps people in an inescapable ball of poison that's very difficult to destroy. You'd expect someone to use this to snare the opponent and poison them to death. But Maple? She encases herself in it, takes no damage do to poison immunity, and then runs full speed through a dungeon just ignoring everything as they bounce out of the way. She also gained the machine god skill by 1) finding a small, essential item in the woods near a tree after she fell off a cliff, and 2) got lost while exploring a new area.
The majority of her abilities were acquired by her doing something weird enough times that she got an award.
The devs have gotta stop rewarding her for doing weird things!

I thought they went for the "let's take out the competition so we can stay in the top 10" after Mapel went into her atrocity form, and they stopped after the number of guilds became less than 10.
Also Mapel's guild likely got third as one of the rules is that you earn points keeping your orb in your base, and that small guilds earned more points per hour.
"Leveled up in her sleep" sounds exactly like something a stock market investor would do

best scene for this series was on the final day of the guilds war event (orb snatching event) where 7-8 Maples in the Atrocity form wreak havoc on all surviving guilds. they (members of maple tree) basically use broken skills and spells such as
Maple : use atrocity form (the giant demon/monster/alien like)
Kanade : use pre-recorded mirror image-like spell on Maple to generate copies/clones illusion but intangible n then cast spell that make said illusion to be real/materialised.

Maple shield has a spell called devour and can eat any enemy that hits it but eventually the characters that created the Game make it so she can only use devour 10 times a day but the downside to that is whenever she has the shields she can’t stop the power so if something runs into it it will eat it

I love this a lot of people thought it was unrealistic and RPG but I've seen games have glitches and something like this would actually trigger a glitch you think about it. After she becomes a God the game GMS don't want to patch up because she's too popular.

It was a very refreshing watch after my first experience with an anime centered around VRMMOs being SAO
It is very refreshing to see VRMMO stories actually take advantage of their setting. Aside from SAO Abridged, I've only seen 1 other work manage to do so to the same degree, and that work is an actual video game itself.
Turns out it's a lot easier to make a convincing fake video game when you're actually a game designer yourself.

She's going to be using it a LOT as it gives a massive boost to HP which is going to be real important, and barely anything hurts her anyway and her angel skills do a lot of self damage with her best one requiring a whopping 600 HP cost for 10 seconds of Invincibility and without the set she has only around 200 HP (40 base + 30 from Toughness Ring + 30 from HP boost (S) + 100 from Life Ring)

well this anime felt amazing to watch it was cute engaging and fun also this inspired me to find the most broken strategies in other games that i played like having too many summons or litterally multiplying so much my vitality and thorns damage that every boss got one shot from the recoil instead of my actual damaging abilities

I don’t think putting all your points in defense at the beginning of a game would actually work in real life.
It'd work if you also just avoided getting hit, there are a lot of games where if you mix dodging and defense you become absolutely unkillable.
