I was just there for an overnight stay. Amazing city. I didn’t know it had so many great local places to eat. People are so much more friendlier than in Vancouver
I've passed through Freddy 3 years in a row. On a Saturday, it takes me about 10 minutes to find myself at the Boyce Market eating samosas. People who used to live there yearn for samosas, which used to be for sale at all the Scholton's convenience stores.
A pretty small town worth the visit especially during the warm summers, but it has very long winter. Almost impossible to get a family doctor and there are only two walk in clinics open and one of them only has one doctor.
@@mansoorahmedchohan Moncton overall for services and quality of life. Avoid Saint John at all costs. Fredericton (really a small town) is OK, but lacks many services and only has two walk in medical clinics with one of them only having one doctor; basically it is a lottery trying to get someone to answer the phone and when they do, no guarantee you will see a doctor. As a newcomer you won't be able to find a family doctor if you need one anywhere in NB.
@@rps1689 thanks a lot for details response. I am going to travel by end of this year with my family so trying to gather useful information before deciding the city to settle. Really appreciate your response..cheers
The place looks lovely and the views are amazing! From my little city in Belgium I have no idea where this is located 😂 i would suggest a map at the beginning of the video ☺️
i am thinking about buying around the Fredericton area. Say 15 to 20 minutes out of town. Id there alot of bugs in the summer time 15 to 20 minutes out of town or do you have to go a bit farther to get the bugs? Thanks for your help in advance:)
Only one thing you failed to point out. And it's so obvious!!! lol. Christ Church Cathedral is THE iconic architectural landmark of Fredericton NB! The setting is exquisite. I love Fredericton and The Snooty Fox and Lunar Rogue are two of the best pubs, oh, on Earth! Thanks for the awesome video!
I was born here but I moved away when I was really young but I have a lot of family in New Brunswick so I get to go down there every year but unfortunately I haven’t been able to go back in the last couple of years so I am also missing back home
Is this a nice city to move to? I'd like to transfer into their Costco store from my store in BC. I'd like to be able to purchase a home here and have a family. Is this a safe good place to be?

What about jobs?new studebts get jobs here easily?
Not that easy; lot of nepotism here and jobs are mostly low pay.
