Gianmarco trabajaba en esta canción cuando estaba en Miami, en las oficinas de Emilio y Gloria Estefan. Gloria estaba a punto de sacar un nuevo material cuando escucha esta canción y le pide a Gianmarco que la canción sea parte de su nuevo disco. La canción fue todo un éxito y Gloria graba un video de la canción en Machu Picchu en homenaje a Gianmarco, quien es peruano. La versión de Gianmarco está más cerca al ritmo andino del huayno típico de las serranías del Perú mientras que la versión de Gloria es más cercana a la salsa.
