This is a good song. It reminded me of "In Dreams" by Roy Orbison. For some older guitar enthusiast , some of Roy's songs would be excellent. It seems he used very similar chords and rhythms for his material. I did see that you do a good job teaching "Pretty Woman". "Crying" and Only the Lonely" are two of my other favorites. I will checkout your courses. Thanks!
Great lesson Lauren thank you and subscribing. The way you are playing this is also a good example of the open strings transition between chords - I can hear the brief '3rd chord' between nearly every change and it sounds great on this song, in case you ever wanted to mention it in a lesson. More please!
Really like your approach to making this digestible. One thing that has me puzzled, though, is that every tutorial I’ve found so far shows basically the same chords in both the verse and chorus, even though U hear different chord shapes in the chorus.
Lauren, thank you for putting this video together. It helped so much. You are an outstanding instructor to those of us over 40 (and never trust anyone over 40 is what the hippies taught me - JK). Peace!
Hi with the sad loss of Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, the only song you will know is Come up and see me (make me Smile) or Judy Teen, are they hard to play? love your channel, waiting for new guitar to be delivered right now
Really appreciate your free lessons, but this one was confusing as far as how to play through the that short solo. It would have been helpful to play the song all the way through and continue playing the chords while humming the solo. ☮🤟

Can you slide up F barre chord 2 fretts for a G ?
Thanks for watching! Yes, that is correct.
Lindsay Buckingham is so underrated, that strum is so non-intuitive. But sounds so cool.
He is personally one of my all time favorites. Very under rated.
Thanks!
John thanks so much for the thanks. Really appreciate it.

Tell us where to position our fingers can’t tell from video
Thanks for the feedback. Will work on that for future videos.
Is the second 1 classed as a syncopated rhythm?
The rhythm pattern itself is not syncopated but the hop would be considered syncopated.
@@LaurenBatemanThank you 🤍
I like your version lol.
