People asking "why carry a gun" and stuff like that, make no sense.. Good people with a license to carry a gun, carry one just in case something bad were to happen, Like if someone is getting Shot at or if someone is threatening someones life. That kind of stuff happens all over the world, not just america.. So if a bad person is doing something like that, its best theres a good person there that can stop it before any innocent people get killed.
And the people that say "all guns should be illegal then theres nothing to worry about" also make no sense, Because YES if we could make it to where it was impossible for anybody to have a gun then there wouldn't be a reason to carry, But making it illegal isn't going to stop bad people from having guns, bc they are bad people and break the law anyways, the only people it would stop from having a gun is good people that follow the law. If making guns illegal automatically made every gun on earth disappear, okay then it will work, but it doesn't, the bad people that have guns will still have them, and it will only stop the good people from having them to protect themselves and other innocent people that are in danger.

You're talking about extremes. Yes people who are lunatics and psychos will try hard enough to get guns. But gun regulations prevent a simple argument at the bar from escalating to an execution. Or some kid shooting up the school with his dad's gun. Let the police deal with the extremists. Move to Canada or Australia for 6 months and taste for yourself the type of life where you know for certain you won't die no matter what suburb you walk into. This is freedom. People get punched all the time in Australia. Put an ice pack on it, no one needs to go home in a body bag.

    • @ashleykelly8036

Disinf3ctant You make no sense, Lunatics and psychos are the ones breaking into houses with guns, and shooting up schools, normal people don't just rob houses & shoot up schools dumbass. So when bad people break into homes with guns its better for the good person to have a gun to protect themselves rather then them not having anything but a gun to there face held by a bad guy that doesn't give af about it being against the law to have a gun. Simple fact is, whether guns are illegal or not, bad guys are still going to have them, Making them illegal will only un arm the good people that follow the law leaving them with no protection from the people that don't obey the law in the first place.

For all the Europeans scoffing at this: the US isn't a savage land and gun owners don't carry because they have to and are afraid for their lives or something. They carry because they still have that right and choose to exercise it, if ever something should happen. Better have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

That 'better be safe than sorry' principle doesn't work in practice though. Carrying a firearm is for self-defence only works if a resounding majority of people carrying firearms are innocent. But allowing civilians to carry firearms will actually increase the chances of a potential criminal being able to commit a crime with a firearm which is the justification for innocent civilians carrying a firearm in the first place. You see how this cycle is perpetuated? And it all starts with universally allowing civilians to access a firearm. Banning all firearms is the answer to this.

    • @tomayto70
      @tomayto70 9 лет назад +68

      kyeYuri
Oh, you think prohibiton works? Let me show you the 1920s in America. Prohibition was the reason the gangsters were born. Hell, the prohibition of pot and hard drugs is the reason drug cartels exist today.
In the US, your condition is met. A resounding majority of people carrying firearms ARE innocent. The exception? In several big cities, where firearms are restricted, and that is where the crime happens. It's nice to think of no guns for low crime, but if guns are already out there, it's asinine to make it illegal for people to defend themselves with them. Look at the crime rate of my home city: Rio. There prohibition of drugs creates cartels, and prohibition of guns renders citizens defenseless.
Additionally, gun rights are excellent for persecuted demographics. There are some gays who have figured out that "armed gays don't get bashed." Guns are also great for women, they are the great equalizer between a skinny college girl and a burly gangbanger.
Furthermore, if you mean "all firearms," you also have to include the government. People in government are not somehow better than civilians. One figure I can cite (out of many) in the US is that when armed citizens intervene, there are often less or no collateral casualties as opposed to when police intervene.
Finally, I don't like control freaks. You want to ban things that you are afraid of and don't like. I've shot guns. I love guns. I hope to have a good collection someday. I don't like that you want to make my hobby illegal.

This is a great video, you don't see any other channels melding fashion and guns. I've been professionally carrying a gun with a suit and tie for over a year now, and have learned quite a bit through experience. This video was cool, but was VERY brief and super general, and could have gone much more in depth. I understand that you guys live in Florida, which is great, because I'm in central Florida, and if you guys ever want to expand upon the topic and do more videos I would love to help you guys out. I feel like it's an especially critical moment for us to be promoting the idea of going out and looking good while carrying, in light of the recent tragic events that have happened in our state.
    Much respect your way!

He probably has to meet with clients at their home, and many of which probably live in impoverished areas ridden with crime, so YES the gun IS necessary. Or do you not believe the poor have the right to legal aid?

Thank you so much for this video. As a slender gentleman who wears his clothes on the tailored side, finding a carry system is always a compromise, and never a good one. I finally decided to pick up a belly band, based entirely on this video. While is is not the lightning fast appendix carry IWB holster that I am used to, it fits my needs perfectly. That said, I do get a few odd looks at the range when I come in wearing my old suit to practice my draw stroke with full cover. Its fine though, Im still the best-dressed guy in the room. For guys like me that love over shirts and/or coats, I'd strongly recommend trying either a shoulder holster or an outside waistband holster. With a shoulder holster, you can easily conceal larger guns such as full size autoloaders or mid to large framed revolvers without much worry of your gun being seen. Outside waistband is also a good option for those who have clothing options that can easily conceal your firearm, but if you plan on carrying something fairly large like a government size 1911 pistol, having clothing of an appropriate length becomes incredibly vital as the nearly 8 inch pistol will be much harder to conceal than something much more compact and slimmer like a 9mm Smith and Wesson M&P Shield pistol.

I carry appendix so this is how I dress with a suit:
I modified a suit vest so that the original buttons on it conceal male/female snaps. Wear the holster underneath the suit vest, but outside your dress shirt. The snaps will allow you to easily clear your vest without getting hung up on fabric. You could modify your suit vest to have side vents that are secured with velcro to help with clearing the cover garment or retrieving spare magazines from a kydex magazine carrier.
Get a holster from JM Custom Kydex. A Glock 19 will pretty much disappear under a form-fitting suit vest with his holsters that have the extra-tuck option. Imagine how the thinner Glock 43 or M&P Shield will do underneath that same vest.

Pocket carry a decent PPK, I hate when people appendix carry; you could also go inside the waistband on your dominant side and partially tuck your shirt over it. As in roll the shirt on that side and only tuck in a small portion so you can pull it up and then have access to your firearm.

Have you ever tried a hybrid style holster like a crossbreed holster? I've found that the crossbreed for my lcp conceals really well under a dress shirt and dress pants. I use the velcro loops for the holster and put some velcro on the inside of my dress belt. That way keeps even the holster clips are concealed.

I'm skinny and I wear fitted clothing, tuck my shirts in also, I said hell no I am not changing the way I dress. I carry a 9mm Shield with a Stealthgear IWB holster at the 4-30/5 o"clock position and it conceals extremely well, even with white t-shirts. When I first started carrying I asked a few friends if they could tell I was carrying and they all said yeah, and I said where? and they always pointed at my cellphone (galaxy S5) or my wallet, and when I would say no and show them they would be completely surprised. I think the correct holster plays a huge roll and which position you carry.. Just make sure you choose the right equipment.

Where I live carrying a gun is almost impossible. Most of the police are not armed. Gun crime rates are massively high and an estimated 250,000 illegal firearms to a population of 4,500,000. You can own a fully automatic sub machine gun but no hand guns. Since 2008 the only handgun caliber licensed is .22 but you can't even carry it. The current political and judicial opinion is that a gun ban would reduce gun violence to zero which is of course untrue. I recently went to a court case in which a man who owned a Browning High Power had it seized by the police even though it was licensed as there was a chance he could buy an extended magazine which would make it illegal, the court upheld the decision and he is now fighting it in the Supreme Court. Americans are so lucky with the freedom of firearms afforded by the second amendment

Stealth Gear tuckable IWB and AIWB for appendix carry. I carry my M&P Shield with a light weight golf shirt tucked in. Did so at Gulf Shores last week - on the beach! The Stealth Gear holsters have a special fabric that breathes - great for summer time. Check them out.

Great info! I'm a new follower; I subscribed a few days ago, and started watching your videos from the old to the new. Tons of amazing info, and growing up. I'm a 22 year old criminal justice student, and I also conceal carry, a Ruger LCP 380. to be specific. I very much enjoy the pocket carry in the same holster you have, but I would also recommend an ankle holster for a 380. When I suit up, I carry a Glock 19 in a leather chest holster, detective style ;) I would also like to tell Jose to please shave that scruff off your face. You would look a lot better and more presentable; just a tip I picked up from the Marines! Keep up the good work.

You didn't mention the shoulder holster (which is a lifesaver for us who wear suspenders). This video was unexpected though, good work :)

Thank God I've never had too. Other than if I'm at a shooting range. Carrying a gun isn't about how many times I've actually used it or when I'm going to finally get to kill someone. My hope is to never in my life have to draw it. This is just a precaution that I honestly don't recommend for everyone. If you're hot headed it's probably not a good idea to carry one. But if you're not and are responsible you can actually save lives. I'll give you an example, if only ONE person would've been carrying a firearm the day that psychco who shot up a movie theatre on the premier of batman a lot of lives would have been saved, however no one was and many were injured. And like that many cases of rape, robbery, and murder could be stopped if a responsible, just citizen was near by carrying a gun

Sometimes, open carry is less threatening than conceal carry to me. Its how one conduct themselves in public actually.

To all the Europeans , we can carry guns because we Americans believe in the right to self defense of ones self. We also aren't just sheep who hope the government will take care of us.
Secondly , check out shoulder holster under the shirt.

Dear Americans, you don't need guns to defend yourselfs with. The presence of guns is the reason you need to protect yourselfs. By the way, we trust our governments because we have the feeling that our vote really matters and that we are taken seriously by politicians in Europe. I'm sorry if my English wasn't without misspellings, but I am sincere. Best wishes from The Netherlands. PS: Dutch aren't anarchists

As a Canadian, this whole concept is so foreign to me. I'm a farm boy who grew up with guns...but the idea of carrying in public...and concealed on top of it just feels odd. Like if someone told me they were carrying a grenade, I'd be like, "cool...but...WHY!?" That said, it's pretty awesome how many options are out there for those who want to conceal carry and still look like a gentlemen. I may not understand it...but I don't need to.

Why do you need 2 pistols, that's like saying hey, I'm going hunting, let me have 2 rifles. If you can't handle yourself with one pistol and a spare mag, you need to train some more.

It goes with the mentality of "preparing for worst case scenario" and where people draw the line on what's "enough". Many people draw the line at one weapon, some think one weapon one extra mag, some think two weapons.
