How long does it take for the crews to complete the Christmas tree and bring the operation into production? I can hear a low frequency humming noise all night while they are working and it's terrible.
There are a lot of factors to consider. It really depends on the wellbore and formation being drilled. Typical wells last from 14-30 days in the drilling process. If the well is being hydraulically fractured (frac'd) after being drilled it can extend the noise and humming for another few weeks beyond that.
I just wonder how they prevent cross threading?
They check the load on the computer. The motor will struggle to turn the connections. Wouldnt sound right. If the readings are out of normal operating parameters then that means there is an improper or unusual connection.
What's the life span of this?
