Good reaction again. As always Su-metal and the Kami Band making it all look so easy. This was at the Budokan in March 2014. You alluded to another version of this song - I assume you are talking about the "unfinished" version - Su performed that at the Legend 1997 show just 3 months earlier in December 2013. It was a special one-off performance of the 'unfinished' version. I don't think you have seen it yet (or have you? it doesn't seem to be on your channel anyway), but I do think you will enjoy the "unfinished" version of 'Akatsuki' - same lyrics (except she doesn't sing the last two lines at the end that she did in this one - possibly one of the reasons this is called 'unfinished'), same melody ... and yet a completely different feel, they may as well be two completely separate and almost unrelated songs.

As I commented previously, on Feb. 19, last year (7 years after this video), BM revived this song for the first time in more than two years on a similar center stage (not rotating but telescopic octagonal). I witnessed it at Budokan, the same legendary arena in this video. Honestly I can not express how beautiful and mesmerizing with my English vocabulary.

It's kind of hard to imagine the genius of BABYMETAL producer Koba. He became aware of Suzuka Nakamoto in the Amuse Inc. Kid's division, when she was 11 years old. At that time, she was the youngest member of Karen Girl's, a JPop trio. He decided she should be the lead in a metal group, so he built one around her. At the time of this Budokan performance, she was 16. That was Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura with the guitar duet. BOH was on bass, and Hideki Aoyama on drums.
Nice reaction thanks and welcome back! "Akatsuki" is my absolute favorite song. And this one is my favorite performance. I define it as total perfection. The different tempos, the guitar solos and Su's powerful and clear vocals. To me, music has to tell me something. And there is no other song that tells me more than "Akatsuki" and no matter which version is. There is s cool anecdote the girls told about this song. Back in time, they ask them which songs they wanted to rehearse before concerts, and Yui and Moa always wanted "Akatsuki" because they loved the way Su performs it with the cape and so. And they were two against one So, Su always ended up rehearsing this one :)

I actually have out of my taste a little with fast tempo songs, but I've listened to this type of songs by BM many times, and I've gotten a little used to them, ha. You have confirmed the lyrics as well which is great!
