    Before I watched this video, I couldn’t produce at all. After I watched this, a Move appeared at my door. A record contract was duct taped to the box. I now have a Grammy. Thanks, Lenny!

    I was gonna complain that there are already tutorial videos for this, but then I read the comments and realised this one has mistakes too! Truly a gift unto the world.

    You should do a video like this for each track. Like a four part series.

    Very cool. Although I think the latest firmware has moved the transpose function from the 3rd encoder to the 1st encoder.

    • @SequenceOne
      @SequenceOne  3 месяца назад +2

      This firmware has changed and thank you for pointing this out! To access the filter for a drum rack pad it is now in the "Filter & Setup Bank" This can be accessed by Shift+pressing the wheel down once, then turning wheel from "Main bank" to "Filter and Setup bank" Then the filter frequency is on encoder one. Hope that helps!

      @@SequenceOne I wish they kept the filter in the main page. In general they should come up with a better way of getting to the second page of controls. It’s super clunky!

    I was following along but for some reason I don't have a filter on Encoder 1 - My transpose is there instead.. Any ideas what I may have done to change these?

      @SequenceOne  2 месяца назад +1

      @@dj_pwnda Hi! Your setup is correct 👍 At the time of filming this I was on a previous firmware version where Transpose and Filter were in different locations. Ableton has changed it since then.

    How do we turn up the volume on the metronome??

    • @SequenceOne
      @SequenceOne  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi! Unfortunately at this time this isn't possible in the current firmware. I was very surprised to find this out since this is a fundamental feature. I checked on it and there is a feature request in so hopefully we will see this fixed in a future update. A workaround for now would be to turn the individual tracks down by pressing and holding a track button and adjusting the main volume encoder to turn the tracks down relative to the metronome. Then turn up the main volume to compensate after turning the four tracks down. Not ideal but it should work. Hope that helps and I will send an update when this changes!

    I came to learn about the feel of the pads. Another unsuccessful attempt by me. Nice overview nonetheless.
    But why has no one mentioned the type of pads Move has?
    Is it Elektron Rytm stiff or NI Maschine smushy, or nearer MPC??

    • @SequenceOne
      @SequenceOne  3 месяца назад

      Hi! Sorry you couldn’t find the answer. I haven’t had experience with the gear you mentioned but I do have a Push 2 and I would say it’s similar to those pads. The Move pads are smaller so they feel slightly different than the Push 2. Hope that helps!

    i think you needed to quantize after choosing the groove to apply it. it did not make an audible change the way you did it or am i getting deaf?

    • @SequenceOne
      @SequenceOne  2 месяца назад +1

      yes, it seems to have not applied in the video, doh! once you set the groove amount, press the wheel to confirm the change and return to the Device View. The groove icon will remain displayed beneath the seventh step button to indicate that a groove is being applied to the Set.
