You are a lucky lady. Friends always seem to be sending you goodies.
This box is phenomenal! I have one about this size, covered in a flowered fabric. I’ve had it for years, so maybe I’ll decorate it like this. Thank you for the idea!

You my dear are a very good teacher. I live off grid in Trapper Creek Alaska and I am so happy to learn your beautiful designs. I started a free box here 16 years ago. Each year we have a Christmas gift give away with that years better donations. It's very helpful for families here. Very little work in such rual area. We do get some helpful donations to give away for gifts. My happiness comes from the kids get to pick out things for parents and siblings gifts. I received a nice batch of boxes this year. Wooden ones different shapes. I've been buying jewelry and craft grab bags from the Value Village in town. The closest town with such stores as Joe Ann's or Walmart is a 200mile drive. I've been collecting some lace trims, but not as pretty as yours. I've listen well so let's hope I havent forgotten to put something on the list. I'll stop in the Party store and look for napkins and paper things. I will be putting some nice watches and jewelry in them also. I can't wait to see the smiles. Just know you've help with those smiles this year. Thank you for your donation sweetheart!!! You have a blessed Holiday!❤😀😘

Hi Carol. That box is beautiful. I love to watch your mind work. Dont change a thing about the way you do your videos. I am a type of person who learns by watching. I've watched orhers who dont talk and some crazy music that I dont like. I just turn the sound off.lol. Thats what people should do is fast foward if they dont like the lengthy videos. I love your stories. Im a story teller also. When my kids were younger ,they would say "here she goes again". Haha. You keep doing you. God bless you and your family.

I think most people who work with the elderly and end of life are a breed above. Here is a story that may interest you all.
I worked in a nursing home and some of the residents and I clicked together. It was so rewarding to be able to take care of people in their elderly years. A hearing ear and a gentle touch means everything to the people who need your help to live as best as possible.
I'll always remember what one of my residents said to me one day. I went to her room on my first round. Just checking on my residents seeing if they needed anything right then. The woman asked me if I was going to be her aid that evening. When I said yes that I was, she almost cried and said how glad she was to see me. She told me that she'd seen another worker come in and was afraid that she was going to be the aid for her that night. My resident said how she and her friends on her wing didn't like the other aid, so they were so happy to see that I was their aid that night. Almost broke my heart. I was sad after I injured my shoulder and could no longer be their caregiver.

June Ribbons thank you! Also, thank you for the story. Unfortunately there are those people working at skilled nursing facilities that aren’t so nice. We need more people like you to care for and love our seniors that can’t be home with their families. Those other aids are the vary reason I quit working to care for my mom at home. ❤️❤️❤️. Thank you for your service!
