Mr President 45% tax in Europe is tagged on high income earners and not the low income earners as opposed to taxing the poor Kenyans the same as the rich ones. Pls get your facts right. Watching from the UK 🇬🇧

It sad that he doesn't pause and ask himself:
    1. The tax has forced investors to close down meaning the government is not getting corporate and pay as you earn tax.
    2. High rate of unemployment.
    3. Scares away new investors.
    4. This results to overtaxing the few who earn including the poor.
    5. No accountability of the too much tax collected.
NB: Public participate views are ignored.

We live in London. Don't fool the public coz of being foolish. Congestion fees in London are optional. Road tax in the UK is based on vehicle engine capacity and emissions. Most vehicles are tax-free for being environmentally friendly. Support this heartless regime with facts foolish, man.

U.S. is not 20%. It varies by State. The state I live in is 6% tax on goods. 8% on alcoholic items and 10% on cigarettes. Pennsylvania has no tax on clothing items. Kenyans need to stop copying people and set laws that work for Kenyans.

THIS PRESIDENT ONLY KNOWS HOW TO GIVE HALF TRUTHS.
In countries where taxation is high, the state provides most things free of charge.
If I pay 45% of my income as tax, i expect free and proper health care, free and proper education for my kids, and other free and proper services.
I don't expect to pay those taxes, and still have to pay (at a private hospital) every time I fall ill.
I don't expect to have to send my kids to private school just because the state schools are completely useless.
I most certainly don't expect my country's governing officials to spend large chunks my hard earned money travelling abroad on jollies.
    Bure sana!

Bwana Nyutu the William Ruto government, on recommendation from IMF (famous for its structural adjustments and anti social spending bias), is ramping up government revenue via taxation/levies (punitive or not), in order to boost its credit rating and decrease the cost of borrowing, the aim is to borrow more. The government itself is run by one of the most politically insensitive, tone-deaf and naive group of people Kenya has ever had the misfortune of leading it, they are completely unable to discern and process the amount of pain they are causing ordinary people; and in the fullness of time may they reap the whirlwind of tsunami wave of public disaffection they are currently sowing. Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

What is KK govt doing to reduce govt spending and sealing corruption? look at linturi's case. he was ignored and he wants kenyans to beleieve he is working for wanjiku. If you are a darling of the west, jua you are doing their bidding. they want tax slaves in kenyan middle class. Kenya is a good state to do their pionerring projects. carbon tax, digital ID. 2. Government pay non-employed stipends to enable them to afford the basic commodities
    3. Government provide either free or very affordable and quality healthcare
    4. Government provides either free or very affordable and relevant education for it's citizens
    5. Government assess the magnitude and pay citizens for any damage that results from natural disasters
    6. Government provides free public transport for the vulnerable as a social protection
    7. Government provides accommodation to families affected by natural dissasters as they fix their homes
    8. Governments effectively deal occurrences like snow resulting from extreme weather conditions
