- Temporary washing machine hook up. The repair is built to last, but the homeowner is slowly renovating this 1964 home. The hot water valve to the washer sprang a leak in their laundry room. The entire room will be completely remodeled soon, I’m just installing temporary hot and cold valves for now to get them water #plumbing #plumber #diy #waterheater #homerepair #plumbingrepair #tools
Nice work
Thank you! Cheers!
Just noticed the ac outlet blocked by the right hand pipe😂
Haha yeah, I was a little caught off guard.. luckily it wasn’t live. The new owner said he’s been finding stuff like this all over the house. It was built in 1964.
Could have cut the tee’s in at different heights to avoid the cross over you had. Copper with bends and offsets would have look a lot better for that job that PEX.
What pipe was coming from below?
The previous guy used 1/2 inch CPVC for the hot and 3/4 inch PVC for the cold supply
Only very expensive and luxury washing machines use both cold and hot water. Am i wrong?? The purpose is quicker programs and energy saving.
I’m no expert on washing machines but all of the ones I’ve ever hooked up have both hot and cold water
Maybe in EU but not in Merica
Could have done better
Just temporary.. not painting the Sistine chapel
@@theplumberlorian…. Not pretty but strong enough. Bet it be a year from now before the guy has the room ready.
Hey man, what type of boots would you wear? Is steel toe necessary? Got a link to some?
I dont like the plastic pipes and all the fittings, the interal pide diameter is smaller. The flow get thurbuolent.
Actually PEX A cold expansion fittings are the same diameter of the pipe, that’s the beauty of it.
Bruh... If you're trying to sound smart, proofread 😅
No it doesn't
J'aurais trop peur d'une fuite
It’s all about experience, everything I’m using has a great track record
