Saw someone say Yoongi entered with the grace of a cat and the presence of an anime villian and yeah that tracks. Yoongi in this song is like AgustD meets Run BTS.
Just throwing in a MUCH better translation for Yoongi’s verse 🙂 Hey! Have you forgotten what I do for a living? That that I like that (like that) Even as time passes, I’m unchanging That that I like that (like that) I don’t care I don’t care that I like that To the people who are watching me and who have been watching me all this while Everyone ready set go As someone who takes punches well, those who have been trying their hardest to put me down (*hit me with their words) must feel so uncomfortable now Those times you wished I would fail have long gone Gathering everyone, I’ll lightly hit you* I’m telling you now, enough is enough Oh Oh Oh Just shut up and let’s all have fun Oh Oh Oh Min Yoongi and Park Jaesang Thank you Knox!
Excellent translation! May I add --"Gathering everyone, I'll lightly hit you" ... the term lightly hit that he uses refers to lightly spanking babies. Therefore he is also calling the haters "babies". 😂
@@lizsays3324 lol I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who immediately noticed that. Knowing Yoongi though, and knowing how oversimplified the translations tend to be, I went out and found more accurate lyrics right away.. lol
It's scary how talented Suga is. Rapping? he's a god. Dancing? not an issue. Singing? Seesaw is proof enough. Producing and writing? Well he has over 100 songs under his belt
He's indeed multi talented and versatile. Yoongi is def a great dancer especially compared to majority of idols. It's just BTS dance line is just god - like.
@@zb1planet the funny thing is that he didn’t come as a dancer, and I tried to focus on him and Namjoon so many times, but I never saw any mistakes. This speaks volume of their talent, and dedication
I’ve been laughing at this since it came out haha! Yeah Psy is a total OG. He actually talked in the press conference about the unhealthiness of a viral hit (e.g. Gangnam style) compared with longevity and success. He said the biggest wall for them in the US is radio (as they won’t willingly play foreign songs) so YT is their biggest weapon. He honestly has a lot deeper meanings behind many of his catchy songs. He also had nothing but lovely and supportive things to say about Suga and BTS’. The nicest thing was he said how proud he was of them and that they’re not doing all this for the sake of raising national prestige but are giving Korea a lot of proud moments. He just seems like a lovely man, has his own label too! Thanks so much Knox 💜
Also this is interesting. So Psy getting out of the car is Gangnam style Psy which is the Psy Suga ‘kills’. And it’s cool because it runs parallel with Daechwita with an alternative Agust D getting out of the car! It’s the same car too but a different colour. Clever!!
I'd also point out that in Daechwita, the version of himself that Suga kills is the toxic "king", which runs nicely parallel to the Gangnam Style PSY (which PSY himself described as a "toxic viral hit") being killed here.
That's some good observation 👀... People often get too carried away with the music and overlook the small details that they actually put efforts to make stand out.
😂😂 this is just fun! Yoongi did a great job fitting this to Psy’s style. Psy did say when he wrote the ‘pandemic over’ line he wrote it a while back with the hope it would be over, rather than a statement. Thank you!
some people don't realize how HUGE psy truly is, like really huge especially in Korea so Suga working with him is a really big deal cuz Psy doesn't collab with just anyone and the fact he even included him in the song is truly iconic. also I love how they are like 15 years apart but still looks as if they are bf.
Suga has a project to create songs for all genres. BTS - dance, AUGUST-D: hip-hop, SURAN - R&B, IU - ROCK, PSY - Latin. This song is part of Suga's project. Experts also say that SUGA, which digests various genres, is a genius musician.
PSY mentioned in the behind the scenes of the MV that SUGA is "killing" the Gangnam Style PSY (he's wearing the blue suit he wore on the Gangnam Style MV), so that era is gone, this is That That PSY now :)
wanna see some more of suga's versatility as a producer? i recommend Eight by IU (Korean soloist) ft suga. he produced that song and it gives a whole different vibe to usual bts and "That That'
Yes! The song and the video are both amazing and Suga uses his voice in a completely different way to match the tone of the song. Be sure to watch the IU Eight explained by a Korean video to catch all of the deeper meanings.
Ayyeee Knox! Appreciate you checking this one out! Yoongi is definitely a chameleon. If you compare the different songs he’s produced for other people and in his own mixtape, he’s so versatile. Artists that you can’t box are top! Just like yourself professor. Got Blacklist on the go regularly 🔥🔥 Thanks!
Interesting theory from: Microcosmos 🌌 "Here's my theory: Psy in the brown outfit represents "present" Psy. so the first couple of bars of Yoongi's rap means Yoongi is asking Psy how he's standing in the industry for this long time, for which Psy answers "Like that" with his groove. But then Yoongi starts telling about his past and his struggle. So, Psy in the blue suit represents the music industry before Yoongi's debut (Psy does the hook move of Gangnam style, which was released a bit before the debut of BTS). Their fight literally means how the industry beat the pulp out of Yoongi in the earlier days and now he has the industry in his hold, completely beaten up! That "Can you feel it" is like asking Yoongi "Man, do you know how big you are now?" (*Proud army noises) Then, Psy in the purple outfit means how everything is taken over by Bangtan (and maybe Psy is an ARMY too now!?)" What do you think? 🤔
I like this thought. One thing though is that Psy's early career was very much a similar struggle as BTS. Psy has had numerous albums and songs banned in the past in Korea. A lot of the Psy's personality was created/defined by his early career. He knew he was different than other Kpop stars, didn't fit the same cookie cutter molds and he used his difference to criticize the issues he saw in Korea which didn't win him many friends. Like BTS he didn't see a lot of support from the label also, but just like BTS this would be beneficial as it gave him more control over his music. It was really Gangnam style (which in itself is a critical commentary on the South Korean mindset that how you are perceived - aka always buying the most expensive thing even it if isn't the highest quality - is the most important thing.) that made Psy popular with the labels and the government. If that makes sense. Now that Psy has his own label I know he is hoping to help change some of the worst aspects of the K-pop industry. The K-pop industry is so regimented and controlled you can look back and see how the evolution of the genre has been pushed and changed over the decades. But the big labels in Korea thought they could control how K-pop would be released internationally but they failed over and over and over. It took Psy, a popular national artist (though unpopular with the government and the labels), to break the international market with an unexpected viral hit uncontrolled by the government or the labels. To me this sort of collaboration is logical as both Psy and BTS suffered through very similar hardships at the beginning of their careers. To me, Yoongi's lyrics have double meanings both in regards to Psy's career and his own career and potential. Just my thoughts to add to your comment.
I saw a show where Psy was explaining how this came about and he wanted to take that time to Thank Suga for this. I guess Suga contacted him, they met, Suga brought this song to him and asked if he was interested. We need to thank Psy for convincing Suga to feature in this 😄.
my theory is they nerfed it because the actual meaning is so long written out that no one gonna be able to finish reading it before Yoongi moves on to the next line, he raps so fast 😂😭
@@ginawinters221 probably💀 I mean usually Korean is shorter than English so the fact that he was Rapping 2000000 syllables a second and the translation was like "hi" it kind of doesn't make sense 😂
I was not expecting this 😂 Glad you did though! Suga has a deep love for producing (it’s what he was hired to be by BigHit before eventually joining BTS) and it was clearly a big honour for him to do this with Psy. I believe he actually approached Psy with the song and Psy in return slowly nudged him into becoming more and more involved 😂 Him doing the choreo was the icing on the cake! He used to b-boy and he’s such a good dancer! BTS have a comeback soon too in June so hopefully you could do an album breakdown! After a couple days so we can connect the dots, translate the lyrics and decipher all the theories ofc 🤣🤣💜
@@KnoxHill there is a rap song “diss” in PSY's album called “Ganji” ft. Jessi and she is also a great rapper! You will love this song I promise you! Please react to it I’m looking forward to it❤️❤️
You should see the making of this video. Showing their awesome chemistry putting this together! Suga wrote the chorus, and Psy wrote his own parts. Both of them making this song as a fun summer song! Also fyi, the car is from Daechwita (quick shout out) and Psy's Gangnam getting knocked out is the old going out and the new coming in! This song is definitely stuck in my head! 😂❤
In Korea Psy has his own production and management company where he’s raising his own artists everything from recruitment to the sound studio and choreography for stage and videos just in case if you were wondering what he’d been up to since GangNam style. He’s been a very busy man!
The finale anthem style "Do what you wanna, Say what you wanna" is really mind-blowing and etches in my memory... The cinematography is brilliant... reminded me of those mass dancer scenes in Bollywood movies, which gives that extra oomph... I'm sure this is going to be bigger than Gangnam style in the years to come, especially when we are craving for songs with such vibes during a depressing pandemic
Love it! I was sure you were gonna comment on the first line of suga… “Hey, you forget what I do for a living? “ If that’s not a challenge statement … damn. Plus what he was doing was fighting the Gangnam Style PSY. It’s kind of like in my mind they’re putting away that version of Psy… new Psy coming through. 😂
Finally I wanted to say I've been waiting for Psys comeback for ages and if it wasn't for him ba k in 2012 I would've not gotten into kpop. Secondly I love how he worked along with yoongi and got him not only produce but also to be in the MV but to also dance aswell. Yoongi id my all time fav rapper in the entire music industry and someone I can truly relate too. Thirdly I am in love with the cowboy concept and vibe of the MV and I have always loved the wild west vibe. The whole choreo is just like Psy (if you seen his earlier work you will k ow what I mean) the beat is upbeat and just makes me want to get up and dance along and another thing "that that" chorus is just so catchy as it has been stuck In my head since I first heard it in the teasers. Also I was just smiling and laughing thruout the entire MV. Also it might just be me but Yoongi kinda looked like Tae and Jin in this MV too.
Ahh so BTS are releasing an anthology album called ‘Proof’ inclu. 3 new tracks! Their proof is their discography 💜 This is AMAZING because those earlier songs never really got their moment in the sun because of their struggles at the beginning. What a moment to be in a position to release an anthology album and reflect on their journey 🥲 The tour will be incredible! Hope you can do a review when it’s out Knox!!
Like your new thumbnail! Loved your reaction. I know you sometimes read comments so just hope you've seen that Suga's verse is mistranslated in the mv. I just wanted to say as I know you appreciate good lyrics. You know, he doesn't disappoint there
I had to go straight to the description before watching the video because that song snatched me, holy shit. Had to hear it all, no regrets. Out here rapping AND singing - I see you, homie. Seriously though, thank you so much for making music on top of giving us all this content all the time, from kpop and Hamilton to Eminem and J.Cole. We couldn't ask for more. I hope your song is on spotify so I can listen on repeat!
Knox, I have to say after finding your channel and breakdowns you’ve ruined every other reaction channel for me 😂 Your takes are always so good and you’re so observant, I really love it. Thank you for all your hard work and the high class content you always give us! 🙏🏼 💜
I think Suga gave something back to Pay, like a gift or gratitude. Once Psy showed his country to the world. Suga is another generation, recognizing what Psy did before. And I like that!
Thanks Knox! Been watching dance to hip hop to relieve depression lately and I saw a dance breakdown of this on a YT channel called steezy and there are SO many different dance styles in here! Loved the song immediately! Ashamed to say I've avoided BTS as I'm not a pop person but impressed with Sugas rapping here! Behind the scenes interview on Psy's channel is super enlightening re dance/singing in booth and production from both perspectives.
*Waited for you reaction. Loved you intro song. Keep making music. Suga's flow really added a new flavor to the song, he went from producing, composing, writing to also performing, mad talented. Good to see his production versatility. Psy's energy is off the charts, choreo was insane.*
Suga thought he was only going to make and produce this song for PSY but he just gradually got him to participate more and more, when Psy tells the story he gives an evil chuckle. As for Suga he had so much fun with this. When he first saw the choreo he burst out laughing. Suga makes great music.
I was waiting for your reaction and here it is. Thank you! Suga & Psy did a great job. After all this time I'm still amused by Suga's talent. And the entrance is unforgettable 🙃
I’ve seen lots of reactions to this but this one was the best. Your understanding of production made this reaction so interesting. That That is so addictive. If anyone has doubts about SUGA’s genius this put them to bed. It’s great that despite their age difference they got on so well but then Yoongi is the grandpa of BTS, LOL.
Suga used Satoori (regional korean dialect) accent that added to the gangster like rap in here. It's like Agust D featured in this track not Suga 😻😻😻 You really know how to appreciate Suga's genius talent. Thank u knox 💜💜💜
I like all the details you point out! Psy wore the same blue suit he did in his Gangam style video, when he and Suga duke it out, they are fighting old vs. new and they eventually come together in a loud dance crescendo. Suga is genius.
I feel like the bit of Psy firing a finger gun as Suga as he enters is an easter egg to him being part of BTS,. Bangtan Sonyondan translates as Bulletproof Boy Scouts (They safeguard the hopes and dreams of the younger generations, like a bulletproof vest) and there are many a time this happens. There's a sketch (I think it was for a TV show) of the members stopping a robbery but stopping the bullets in different ways. It's super cute.
Btw I just wanted to say that I’ve been listening to your music for over a year now and I really really love it! Please never stop making music you’re amazing!! ❤️
You are right about Suga! His voice in this track makes it special and his dancing is so smooth!!! He need to be so recognized. PSY is a master at what he does so it make the video complete. But Suga voice is through out the song and I don’t think people realize it. And his dancing out shines every dancer there! He is a talent for sure!
I just wanna say I've listened to ur playlist of songs cuz I absolutely love rap ballads and urs is my top list that i listen to!! thank u for ur music!!
Reported by: FORBES BTS’s Suga May Have Another Massive Hit On His Hands With Psy’s Comeback Single ‘That That’. “The multi-talented figure recruited one of the hottest producers and songwriters in the world to join him on his first official single in five years, and after working together on the tune, that artist joined him and lent his vocals-and his immense fame-to the project, and that may make all the difference. Psy’s new single “That That” has arrived, and it credits BTS member Suga as not only a producer and songwriter, but also a featured musician. Not only did Suga write, produce, and perform on the single, he also features heavily in the music video. While Psy surely could have enjoyed a successful comeback without bringing anyone else into the fray, -- the fact that Suga is featured on “That That” changes things considerably. His presence takes things to an entirely different level, both artistically and commercially. The most prolific member of BTS (outside of his work with the group, that is) has already made history with his solo music and collaborations with the likes of Juice WRLD and Halsey, and now he’s surely going to score another huge hit alongside Psy.”
Suga is an all around artist. Can stand alone. But i love the fact that all of them stick together, rise together. My bias suga wrecked a lot of people since this dropped. Lol
can i just say that i literally feel off of my bed when i realized yoongi was singing i legit have a bruise on my elbow from trying to catch myself lol
I feel bad saying this because you bruised yourself 😭 but it’s actually Psy singing and Yoongi lip syncing his part 🙈 He mentioned in the vlive yesterday. I really thought it was him too 😂
@@Maltymalt2025 what no my elbow was harmed for nothing and apparently my hope for vocal yoongi to become a thing but i guess we cant always get what we want
It looks like same model car is used in this video as Daechwita, but this one is trimmed in blue instead of gold. It is an 80’s Hyundai Grandeur, known to be a favorite of gangsters in Korea. The ultimate cool ride for boss/rebel AgustD and Gangnam Style Psy.
Your voice sounds amazing, knox. I think it's getting better and better each time i hear it. And i know nothing about music and all that.i'm just a regular woman who enjoys songs and i think your song is amazing too.
The memes from this already 😂 A fun fact, because I can't remember if we've ever told you. But Suga used to play basketball and his stage name 'Suga' is derived from his position of 'Shooting Guard'. So it's the first two syllables, 'shoo' and 'ga'. I vaguely remember you saying you played basketball or was it that you love the sport?? So thought you'd appreciate that little fact!
Oh my god i thought you’d geek out over all the references that may or may not be in there! Ok so i will juice this up with some thoughts for you to ponder with delight. The western scene is kind of like the young guns motif, Psy and then BTS waltzed into the western music scene with all the swagger they have. But also its kind of like the different generations of kpop the senior passing the baton to the next officially, all while also saying, yo whipper snapper I ain’t dead yet. I loved Yoongi’s opening line of bruh, did you forget what i do for a living? Its kind of like back talking to certain individuals of the generation before him that dissed him as they charted off his work and didn’t pay him, all while everyone else was yeah i love that about bts. So you could almost argue a narrative happening there. Then when he slap box’s Psy. So again Gangnam Psy represents the first generation. (Or is he 2nd gen i cant remember but doesn’t matter for this) Suga said when he was a kid his mom let him get Eminem’s cd because she didn’t understand english so didn’t know its offensive to a Korean traditional mother’s idea of acceptable music. That cd i believe had rap god. So in Rap god Em talks about slap box in reference to this god like status he had in rap everyone gunning for him, who wants to slap box,.. why be a king when you can be a god? Well Agust D and Daetchwita, Suga raps he’s the king he’s the boss and bts has raised up to god like status in music in many ways so this whole fight with Psy is like a hilarious spoof on the whole thing like they reference Eminem without saying his name,.. and theres Psy slaps the young gun but Yoongi is all swagger and well earned at that he slaps back. & He’ll do it with style and class. Then he holds the overly dramatic Psy as if to say oh the drama he pinches the bridge of his nose, then the 2 of them get silly again. So much hilarity and kind of subtle undertones of in your face, mixed with dignity. It turned out so cool. The final best part was where they do the arm wave in the choreo towards the end,.. thats Yoongi’s maniacle scream that you’d normally only get occasionally in run bts or something. Now its the cool lyric. Psy for his parts such a cool guy, comes out with his own brand of over the top ridiculous joy and swagger announces he has woken up and come out in the sun to play, and of course everyone is right there for every minute. He is not done! I am so glad he’s made more music. You can tell how much he loves music by the level of playfulness he puts into everything. He took a pock shot at Suga when he was walking up, to which Suga’s opening line like hey old man,… then Gangnam Psy cruising in because decades? Him? No way he’s everywhere and as relevant as always,.. doing the car drive by to himself like Yoongi did in Daetchwita, then the fight, he being the younger Psy actualy strikes at Yoongi and he’s like wtf? Smack smack smack, the Gangnam Psy being overly dramatic I’m dying I’m dying, O(kind of like the k pop groups before bts used to gloat we win awards you dont then bts wins every freaking thing and its ….. “not fair for one group to win everything” drama queen nonesense,…. (Can you feel it, kinda like justice) but theres Psy going, why yes, and i like it. Remember Psy branched off and created his own label. Then they go off like crazy fools partying and having a good time, you know that part of Psy saying do what you like then Suga’s maniacle screaming reminds me of Suga laughing when he held that first award. Its so adorable. Oh well so thats my over dramatic take on the video and probably everything i said will never have crossed anyones mind who actually worked on the video but part of appreciating art is we get to make up conjectures in our own minds and love the artwork even more because of it. I love this song. I am betting this collab will get nominated for duo or group pop Grammy category. You watch. Bts will get nominated (for a song off their new comeback) and then Yoongi and Psy will too side by side, that is my bet. Also i think the video is worth also a nomination for the video, theres a category for that right? I believe so. Production value on it is also vey well done.
This song is now one of my favorites now. Just wanted to say that there is another song out by Psy called: Fuk You lol Another club song for sure. Love your reactions, continue on and have fun!!
The way the whole kpop stan was sh*ting on Army saying that BTS is done when PSY came back just to get the news Suga is the producer then later on revealed that he’s also featured in it 🤣🤣🤣
Indeed, such a versatility. 😊 The music he produces not just for BTS but for other artist too he fits into their music style, that's why he's one of the most sought aftr producer who's also a kpop idol hehe
Sooo… Suga’s lyrics actually were translated a bit wrong with the RUclips subtitles. They actually are: Hey! Have You Forgotten What I Do For A Living? Like That Unchanged, Even As Time Goes By Like That I Don't Care, I Don't Care That I Like That Like That To Everyone I've Longed And Longed For Everybody Get Ready, Set, Go I've Gotten Better At Taking Punches Those Who Tried Hit Me With Words Must Feel Uncomfortable Those Who Prayed For Me To Fail As You Wished Gather Them Together And Smack Them Lightly That's Enough, Oh! Oh! Oh! Just Shut Up And Let's Play, Oh! Oh! Oh! Min Yoongi And Park Jaesang Hope that helps!
Since you're a rapper and clearly have a huge passion for it and hip hop and from all the videos I've watched so far, you have a great understanding of lyrics and messages, may I recommend a Korean rap/hip hop group called Epik High. They've been active since 2003 and it's made of three members: one DJ and 2 rappers. BTS and a lot of young Korean rappers in K-pop have named them as inspirations. They tend to have really meaningful and hard-hitting lyrics and messages and I would personally love to see your take on them. If I may offer a few songs with MVs: Born Hater is one of their biggest hits (featuring a bunch of other mainstream and underground rappers, but the MV doesn't have lyrics available), Rosario is from a recent album (and this one has lyrics!) Honestly there's a lot of rappers and rap groups I'd like to share, especially since you're so passionate about the genre, but I'll leave it at this for now haha
Awww...just heard your kid crying in the background. Bless. That being said: Thanks Again for your incredible insight/awareness. There's a reason you're over a million in here. Borahea 💜💜
If you have a close look at the car before the first refrain you can see that it really is similar to the car in which August D rode in the Daechwita music video. I really loved your dissection as every time, keep it up Knox! 👍
I didn’t realise you’d done this haha! I was actually gunna say similar to someone below. There are many sneaky references. The western theme seems intentional - they’re making their mark in the West even though the industry is against them. The Eminem slap box?? I guess it’d be easier to get that knowing more about Suga as a person, but there’s a lot of fun things to pick out here. Great job! Thanks man.
Haha thanks so much! I like the Latin undertone to this. Funny enough, Gangnam style is actually a political song. Gangnam is a wealthy area in Seoul and Psy was basically mocking the materialism of his peers and the societal differences. But obviously the dance overtook everything else, I have nightmares from uni life flashing before my eyes 😂 If you wanted to check out another Suga production that's totally different again, he produced for Samsung by reimagining the Samsung ringtone and it's sort of like a classical LOTR-esque style piece. It's really awesome if you wanted something different to check out!
It’s not relevant, but Psy’s 2012 hit was called Gangnam Style. Gangnam is the posh neighborhood in Seoul South Korea where a lot of the most wealthy people live. It would be comparable to Beverly Hills or Bellaire. If you live in Gangnam then you’ve made it.
You have got to listen to Ganji (ft Jessi) I'm super excited for Psy's comeback!!! Yoongi did a great job with the production on this track too. This song is 🔥🔥
I was hoping you’d react to this - thank you!!! Would you ever consider doing a full Agust D: D-2 live stream? Unless you’ve already done it and I missed it? I think you would have the BEST time, it is a FULL journey, I listen to the whole album weekly at least 😅 Thank you so much for your react videos, I really enjoy your takes!
I know how much you enjoy lyrics. Def go check out a better translation of Suga's verse. They really dumbed it down, which really sucks since it's the official MV.
Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. It's Psy singing and Suga is lip singing, lol. The slapping is That That song =Suga winning against Gangnam Style Song. Gangnam Style by Psy is such a bop, agree. And his 2nd song after that is nice too. The rest I don't know. He was gone 5 yrs someone said. Same car style different color as Daechwita. Suga's was with orange accent. Psy wearing purple cowboy outfit to represent Army sweet. The song is not bad it's too cheesy for me though. But it fits Psy perfectly. 😅The choreo is too funny. I can't! Also this is interesting. So Psy getting out of the car is Gangnam style Psy which is the Psy Suga ‘kills’. And it’s cool because it runs parallel with Daechwita with an alternative Agust D getting out of the car! It’s the same car too but a different colour. Clever!!
Wow.
Amazing, I missed all of this 😳
😂😂 this is just fun!
BTS - dance, AUGUST-D: hip-hop, SURAN - R&B, IU - ROCK,
PSY - Latin. This song is part of Suga's project.
Experts also say that SUGA, which digests various genres, is a genius musician.
PSY mentioned in the behind the scenes of the MV that SUGA is "killing" the Gangnam Style PSY (he's wearing the blue suit he wore on the Gangnam Style MV), so that era is gone, this is That That PSY now :)
wanna see some more of suga's versatility as a producer? i recommend Eight by IU (Korean soloist) ft suga. he produced that song and it gives a whole different vibe to usual bts and "That That'
Love Eight… and compare to production of You by Omi, Stay Alive, and his own versatile D-1 and D-2. Wow!!!!!’
@@Yoon4Ever93 indeed he is!
other reccs are Suran's Wine, Heize's We Don't Talk Together, and Epik High's Eternal Sunshine... all excellent and all produced by Suga 💜
Yes! The song and the video are both amazing and Suga uses his voice in a completely different way to match the tone of the song. Be sure to watch the IU Eight explained by a Korean video to catch all of the deeper meanings.
STREAM That That PLEASE we have to win no matter what
Ayyeee Knox!
Yeah I Agree Suga is very Talented.
I love your username
Interesting theory from: Microcosmos 🌌
"Here's my theory: Psy in the brown outfit represents "present" Psy. so the first couple of bars of Yoongi's rap means Yoongi is asking Psy how he's standing in the industry for this long time, for which Psy answers "Like that" with his groove.
That "Can you feel it" is like asking Yoongi "Man, do you know how big you are now?" (*Proud army noises)
Then, Psy in the purple outfit means how everything is taken over by Bangtan (and maybe Psy is an ARMY too now!?)"
What do you think?
I love this song and mv so so much but lord did it do Yoongi's lyric translation so dirty 😭😭😭
Ikr
my theory is they nerfed it because the actual meaning is so long written out that no one gonna be able to finish reading it before Yoongi moves on to the next line, he raps so fast 😂😭
@@ginawinters221 probably💀 I mean usually Korean is shorter than English so the fact that he was Rapping 2000000 syllables a second and the translation was like "hi" it kind of doesn't make sense 😂
@@ot7biasedmashups the fact that "hi" is actually 5 syllables long in Korean sends 😂🤣
What a great reaction and breakdown! 👏
Thank you 🙏
@@KnoxHill there is a rap song “diss” in PSY's album called “Ganji” ft. Jessi and she is also a great rapper! You will love this song I promise you! Please react to it I’m looking forward to it❤️❤️
Русский
i love how yoongi kinda bring on his agust d persona. like the way he raps, true king
This song will be stuck in my head now! Suga killing it. He is a genius. Great reaction 🙌
"야 내가 모하는 사람인지 까먹었지?" 입니다^^
PSY is too fun and unique , I like when he kinda fainted and Suga carrying him 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Finally I wanted to say I've been waiting for Psys comeback for ages and if it wasn't for him ba k in 2012 I would've not gotten into kpop.
I LITERALLY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS...THANKS A LOT FOR THESE AWESOME REACTIONS
Thanks a lot for supporting!
@@KnoxHill YOU ABSOLUTELY DESERVE IT... PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE AWESOME REACTIONS💜💜
It's like Agust D featured in this track not Suga 😻😻😻
You really know how to appreciate Suga's genius talent. Thank u knox 💜💜💜
Suga is sooooo talented!
I like all the details you point out! Psy wore the same blue suit he did in his Gangam style video, when he and Suga duke it out, they are fighting old vs. new and they eventually come together in a loud dance crescendo. Suga is genius.
This collab is amazing💜👏
Suga entrance 🔥💜💜🤠
Wow, incredible message. Thank you for sharing. No, I won’t stop. I’ll keep going 🖤🖤
@@KnoxHill you’re very welcome Knox!!
00:01 that part hit my soul..

Your comments always help me appreciate the songs on another level ✌️
Suga is an all around artist. Can stand alone. But i love the fact that all of them stick together, rise together. My bias suga wrecked a lot of people since this dropped. Lol
I think you would appreciate PSYs albums! Has a lot of amazing songs and collaborations w rappers and singers 🙌🏻

Yeah... those translations provided are over simplified... But I mean... Still a light hearted funny song. Good reaction as always Knox 💜
They might be oversimplified, but useful...
I always like the "genuiness" of your reaction videos.
can i just say that i literally feel off of my bed when i realized yoongi was singing i legit have a bruise on my elbow from trying to catch myself lol
I feel bad saying this because you bruised yourself 😭 but it’s actually Psy singing and Yoongi lip syncing his part 🙈 He mentioned in the vlive yesterday. I really thought it was him too 😂

Can't sleep without watching your video you are the Best reactor I've ever seen.. Your compliment/explanation is so perfect
I really enjoy your reviews. I always learn so much. Thanks Knox!
I love your well thought out comments to music and their video’s! ❤
i was waiting for you to do the reaction for THAT THAT! 😍
Woohoo! Thank you Knox! 💜💜
song in the intro is FIREEEEE!!

The way the whole kpop stan was sh*ting on Army saying that BTS is done when PSY came back just to get the news Suga is the producer then later on revealed that he’s also featured in it 🤣🤣🤣
Wdym? Are bts as a whole not done with music together right now?

Amazing, so cool, so good, so beautiful, awesome, the best collab PSY and SUGA of the 2022;year!!!
Indeed, such a versatility. 😊 The music he produces not just for BTS but for other artist too he fits into their music style, that's why he's one of the most sought aftr producer who's also a kpop idol hehe
Psy released a behind the scenes for this music video. It's fun to watch. Maybe that should be another thing to react to.
I love this reaction. But Knox kept saying "gan-gam" (or at least it sounded like that) instead of "gang-nam" and it was driving me crazy 🤣🤣

Sooo… Suga’s lyrics actually were translated a bit wrong with the RUclips subtitles. They actually are:
Hey! Have You Forgotten What I Do For A Living?
Like That
Unchanged, Even As Time Goes By
Like That
I Don't Care, I Don't Care That I Like That
Like That
To Everyone I've Longed And Longed For
Everybody Get Ready, Set, Go
I've Gotten Better At Taking Punches
Those Who Tried Hit Me
With Words Must Feel Uncomfortable
Those Who Prayed For Me To Fail As You Wished
Gather Them Together And Smack Them Lightly
That's Enough, Oh! Oh! Oh!
Just Shut Up And Let's Play, Oh! Oh! Oh!
Min Yoongi And Park Jaesang
Hope that helps!
It doesn't because after that, his bars wasn't nothing but American slang-quotes
Been loving your videos for a bit now. Would love to see some breakdownsof Sii Mask the Slump God's music. Much love!
I want to say that I would love more BTS reactions.
If I may offer a few songs with MVs: Born Hater is one of their biggest hits (featuring a bunch of other mainstream and underground rappers, but the MV doesn't have lyrics available), Rosario is from a recent album (and this one has lyrics!)
Honestly there's a lot of rappers and rap groups I'd like to share, especially since you're so passionate about the genre, but I'll leave it at this for now haha
Thx. You are so good at kindly finding nice things so say about music.

Great job! Thanks man.
🤣🤣 it is a red tailed hawk!! Greatest entrance ever. Suga can shake it. 😘💜💙
This song and MV is fire! 🔥🔥🔥
Hearty congrats for ur achievement buddy!!!🙌🏻👍🏻👏🏻

We need a Daddyphatsnaps "Moon Knight Rap" reaction! Man had 13 flow switches with different deliverys & pockets and had some crazy bars
You have got to listen to Ganji (ft Jessi)
I'm super excited for Psy's comeback!!! Yoongi did a great job with the production on this track too. This song is 🔥🔥
I was hoping you’d react to this - thank you!!! Would you ever consider doing a full Agust D: D-2 live stream? Unless you’ve already done it and I missed it? I think you would have the BEST time, it is a FULL journey, I listen to the whole album weekly at least 😅
Thank you so much for your react videos, I really enjoy your takes!
PSY That That’s (prod. & feat. Suga of BTS)
I know how much you enjoy lyrics. Def go check out a better translation of Suga's verse. They really dumbed it down, which really sucks since it's the official MV.
Today is the first time I will see you react to something besides Encanto. I'm excited and looking forward!
I can't! Hugs. --NY USA Army💟

The irony is that when Psy started he had his own company and released his own songs for about nine years. Unfortunately due to his military enlistment scandal (he promoted his music and held concerts, a big no-no), he ended up having to serve a second term, which caused him to go broke, so he ended up joining YG (Heechul from Super Junior really wanted him to join SM.) Its wonderful to see him back in control of his own company again.
"Haters gonna hate, players gonna play" this was also RM's line in Mic Drop!
