Hi everyone, today 😊 We have an incredibly special vlog for you today. Our Shanti Creations team, along with our Standard Securities team who came all the way from Mumbai, visited the awe-inspiring Noida Sector 47 Jungle. This isn’t just any jungle-it’s an 8-acre man-made paradise created by the amazing community of Noida Sector 47 under the visionary guidance of Sanjay Aggarwal.
This place used to be a garbage dump where people discarded their waste, but now it’s been transformed into a lush, green oasis where life thrives. 🌿
With around 50,000 trees planted, which is made with the inspiration of Miyawaki method which was named after Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki, this method involves planting two to four different types of indigenous trees within every square meter. The methodology was developed in the 1970s, with the basic objective to densify green cover within a small parcel of land.
It's a beautiful testament to what a dedicated community can achieve.
The jungle also features a vibrant vegetable and fruit area where various types of veggies are grown. 🍅🥬 But what makes this place truly special is its emotional significance.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, families who have lost their loved ones in that pandemic , have planted trees in memory of their loved ones who passed away, creating a living tribute that continues to grow and flourish.
