Yes, it’s the gear bearings… My is only 4 years old (though with 95000km), but whines the same way, more noticeably around 60-90km/h. I am planning to fix it myself, as Renault says “it is normal, it is a spec of the gearbox”. No, it is actually serious defect, and if left untreated, it can cause a total damage of the gearbox, clutch and flywheel. So, I friendly advise you to replace all bearings in gearbox before the cost triples. Ofc, if you still own the car. And all the readers of this comment.
The dealer disassembled gearbox on mine, and they confirmed the issue with gearbox, though not as dramatic physically as this sound. Currently waiting for repair.

Nah i had it new with automatic gear and the turbo is whining
