The unparalleled power and range of this man. One of if not the greatest voice in Rock music.
Very underrated band... What's weird is that in the world of rock music everybody knows Aerosmith and everybody knows Van Halen.. but you got these great bands that a lot of people just threw to the wayside.. bands like steelheart and white lion didn't get nearly as much air play as they should have.

Steelheart came out at the end of the arena rock era. The industry suits took the music down the drain from there and we lost these great bands as well as the era of the singer/songwriters.
Steelheart was the vocal doubling band for Steel Dragon in the movie Rock Star!!! Phenomenal sound!!! Lead singer Miljenko Matijević is definitely in a class by himself.

Electric Love Child is where the band real comes together. It’s one of those songs you can’t get out of your head after hearing it!

His high notes rival the high notes on the guitar! His voice is amazing! In the unplugged version he is literally singing and chewing gum at the same time! Lol

For those that don't know, this band was on it's way up in the music world when Miljenko (singer) had an accident where some rigging fell on his head. He had a long recovery and then the genre died and it was too late for them to meet their potential.
Recently, Millie suffered a mild stroke, but is back performing again. Check out their new remake song Angel Eyes: I'll Never Let You Go or the original.

I had their first two records on cassette back in the early 90s. Phenomenal singer-the song Sheila has his FULL range. Totally insane. If he hadn't had that accident, who knows where he would have ended up...

Miljenko Metajevic was performing live when He failed to climb the rig and also failed to dodge the 1000 pound piece of equipment, which hit him in the back of the head, driving him face first into the stage. The outcome of the accident was a broken nose, cheekbone, jaw, twisted spine, and severe memory loss. He also suffered a severe brain injury that almost killed him. He is also very well known for doing all the lead vocals from the movie “ Rockstar” Starring Mark Wahlberg.

@@MaddyReactions And that accident on stage that night is still all over Utube. The rest of the band members flew to New York that night. All they saw was Milli(he liked to be called Michael) climb that rig, it falling down, and then Milli got up and kinda tore the stage apart. Not knowing how bad he was injured. This would ultimately End SteelHeart as we knew them back then. Then they needed a ROCK VOICE for the movie ROCKSTAR. So Milli did the vocals for Mark Wahlberg’s character. He still sings to this day. Still had an awesome voice. Can hit those high notes, but can’t carry them as long.❤️🙏🎃

I saw them in 91 with Great White and the Bullet Boys. It's to bad he had that almost fatal accident on stage and the band ended. But the good news is he made it back years later and is back performing.

Dimash has a wider range, but Miljenko is pretty much the rock version of him. This is one song that I have slways wanted Dimash to do a cover of!!

That’s because he is trained an opera if he was a kid and because of that he can still hit notes that boys sang and they normally lose those ranges, but they’re both five octaves
@@Bryan-wu1ss well,, Miljenko's actual range is only A2-B5, even though it might seem like it should be higher, it's not.
@@randywissler9923 he’s a tenor on the higher end dimash a baritone. On low End because of his opera training from a young age That’s why. he’s able to hit such high notes because some of the notes and she’s gone is soprano but Dimash is also able to hit soprano notes

On October 1, the premiere of a stunningly beautiful OST video for the song “Baikal” took place on Diana Ankudinova’s RUclips channel.
The soundtrack performed by Diana became the main musical theme of the film “The Spirit of Baikal,” which will be released in wide release on October 19, 2023.
In the film itself, Diana voiced two roles - the spirit of Lake Baikal and the voice of the soul of the deceased mother of the main character of the film. The film received several top awards at film festivals.
Baikal is the deepest, oldest, freshwater lake on Earth (22-23 percent of all fresh surface water), it is a place of power, the spiritual center of shamans, different religions - Shamanism , Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, a pristine place not yet touched by civilization.

Miljenko Matijevic is one of the best I have listened to. Geoff Tate is great, Bach is good and a few others but Milijenko is a class above them..

This is a good one, but Tommy J's cover blows this out of the water.
Leftover 80s hair metal making it to 1990 very pedestrian at least 15 bands that sound exactly like them worst part of the 80s face it the only reason they got popular was girls like the band. Not saying he isn't a great singer or they're not good musicians I just personally think the act is cheesy.
