- Hey guys, today I will be showing you the New NERF N-Strike Elite Firestrike 2.0. It claims to get up to 90ft as compared to the old one that shot 75. Today I will take that to the test and compare the differences between the two. I hope you enjoy :)

Wow, hasbro has really improved. An un modded long shot shot 20-30 ft, and these tiny little pistols are shooting way further
I pulled my (original Elite blue) firestrike apart to check out the internals, and after putting it back together I noticed a big performance boost. I didn't add, remove, or replace anything at all. I think I may have put the spring back in incorrectly, and that somehow improved the performance. I'm pretty stoked about it, actually. I modded my firestrike without knowing that I had.
The dart also sits further forward in the barrel. I guess the air restrictor was pushed forward by the extra tension on the spring.

I have about 3 nerf guns stocked up, just a beginner here. I have a Firestrike, and it totally met expectations. 90ft, lightbeam aiming, high-power firing and all. I've only fought an actual battle once with the Firestrike though....
I found that my firestrike 2.0 also got a vast improvement in range and accuracy

It really says something about Hasbro that we think nothing of doubting the claimed ranges...
The little tooth on the bottom of the handle is so you pull back the primer to dual wield them
Though the colour of the normal firestrike is better but the range, accuracy, and power of firestrike elite is better
An AR removal, K26 spring, padding for the plunger head because of that spring, plugged up airholes, a super bright LED, and maybe a thin brass pipe in the barrel would be my personal Firestrike.
Gotta love those LEDs.
the little part of the handle by the batteries is to cook the firestrike it is a tiny triangle, if you have 2 firestrikes you can cook it with that tiny triangle .

Coz the spring is new in the 2.0, it goes further . And the lazers do not look the same (see them closely ). One of them has a kinda point on it .
The original yellow firestrike was and still is the best as the laser target can be adjusted for better accuracy

I have the nite finder which is like the n strike version of the firestrike, it is so much more bulkier and its laser is so wobblely. It was my first blaster and thats why i have not gotten rid of it.
And the range suks
There is also a new strongarm which is white and it also has the elite xd logo claiming 90 feet

What were all of the Nerf N-Strike Elite blasters that got recolored orange? I'm really curious.
Surely (if you've already got a Firestrike) you'd be better off (and probably cheaper) replacing the spring in your old one rather than buying a whole new one? With a spring replacement, both versions will perform the same (and both will perform better than either stock version).
my brother and i picked 2 up from target 2day and we did not need to cut the wire we just pulled them right out and did not wreak the box
You should really be using a chronograph in order to test the velocity that these shoot at. there are far too many variables when you're simply seeing how far each shoots
I got the gun just yesterday without knowing about this video and I saw it in target so I picked it up and im proud of the performance
I can see the issue where zombie strike darts are loaded into the normal firestrike the dart pumps out
the firestrike works really well with the accustrike darts
If you like I can switch the shell from the old firestrike to the 2.0 version.
and I just got the regular Firestrike, theres a review on my channel but I can't believe I got it instead of 2.0
Improvement from old firestrike and huge improvement from night finder.
I like the blue firestrike more, but my tactical rail on it broke. It is making the whole gun tear apart. I have duct tape on it so I might get the orange firestrike.
If you take out the air restrictor the darts won't fall out and you get more range if you take out the air restrictor

I like the new color scheme. The demolisher has not come out yet in the philippines. Probably will not. I the orange firestrike does come out here I will buy one. My firestrike has almost a thousand firing cycles and the spring has weakened.
I know how to mod but don't know how to put the blaster back together.

Got a custom one of these at a con, was curious what the second trigger was for. Turns out the guy carelessly painted over the light. If anyone has any tips on how to remove the paint without damaging it id love to see em

I have it, it is my first nerf gun, i got it for consideringly cheap at an expensive store.
I have that gun and its ok for my first nerf gun....but not so happy with it. Should i buy a new one or just buy something for my gun so it would be more fun?

The "laser" is actually a red light so it makes the nerf gun less cool and the "laser" only works in dark... it's quite disappointing
You should put the Orange side on the blue pistol so it's like half blue half orange I thing it would look cool as a pistol
