@@karenleemallonee684it looks like he jumped around the general North Shore of Boston, many of the towns very easily bleed into each other. I haven't lived there in Saugus for a while, but if I recall correctly the Jordans is off 128 in Burlington. The Dino/golf course turned apartment complex I believe is still within the town of Saugus. It is very close to the Malden/Everett/Revere area (I can't recall exactly). At least people are thinking that may be the case of indoor malls, as opposed to outdoor strip mall, regardless of their size, because of the need for various businesses to set up shop wherever they have room, so they can try to encourage us to go out and use their service with their ads. 😂😂😂
It’s sad really. Everything is separated and divided nowadays. I want to give my son a pocket full of quarters and tell him to stay at the arcade until I’m done at dollar store and KMart.

Robert Parker, one of the best authors ever was from Boston. His fictional character, Spencer a private detective, lives and works in Boston. His character was made into a show from the 80s, "Spencer for Hire," but did not do the books any justice as they were much better. So sad to see skull rock in this state. It was painted by an Artist ICHABOD in 2001. It didn't happen over night. It was crazy. I'm surprised it lasted all the years that it did without getting vandalized. It was even "touched up" (not by ICH himself) about 10 years ago to try to restore the original colors, but it never looked the same.
Adam- loved all the shots of the fall foliage- I’m an original NYer now living in TX. Thanks for the trip up north! If you have a chance visit NYs Harriman State Park and Seven Lakes Drive if the leaf colors are still on the trees
I grew up at these malls Liberty Tree, Square One Mall and North Shore Mall which is the more active of the three in that area. Great to see you enjoying some time here in the North Shore. If you come back in the summer time check out Salem Willows you would like that area of Salem right on the ocean.
Great seeing you in Mass, you even hit some places I didn't know existed I used to work on the roof of the malls you went to doing HVAC, it's been almost 7 years and man those places are run down since I had been there last😮😮
As someone may have already commented, "Beantown" is actually a townie word for Boston. :) I've been to the Reading Jordan's many times. I grew up in Danvers where "Liberty Tree Mall" is. There used to be a giant tree in the middle of the mall back in the day..80's. That mall was the place to be in high school. Richardson's farm is located in Middleton, MA (next to Danvers). Great ice cream! Kelly's Roast Beef is very well known within North and South shore (s) of Boston.
I'm a Native of the area and can confirm that many of our malls are half dead since the pandemic and shops were even closing before that Payless shoe source KB Toys etc. were all going out of business in the 2010s due to changing shopping habits poor management etc. some of the malls recently have become centers for crime activity even if prior they were in a relatively safe low crime area like square one mall Saugus which also has several other major businesses around it including York Ford Kawloon Chinese restaurant etc.
So the Dinosaur and the hippo were a staple at Mini golf course located near where the Square One Mall is located. Also you need to go to Kowloon Chinese food on route one. If you like tiki bars, this is the place to go.
Back in the 70's and 80's the Liberty Tree Mall was the place to shop. The actual Liberty Tree was there. It made it debut at the Worlds Fair and was displayed at the mall for years.
If you’re still in Salem, where I live in Daytona Beach, but grew up in Lynn go to the Pine room cemetery. It’s the second biggest wall in the world next to the great wall of China and if you look at some weird places go to Danvers mass where the liberty tree wasgo up 62 to where the Denver state hospital used to be where a movie was made and they turned it into apartments plus this tunnels all underneath the ground
Skull Cliff was disappointing for what it was supposed to be, but no way you could be disappointed with that view and the foliage. Beautiful, thanks for trekking out there.
Hello Adam!!.. Welcome to Boston and New England!!.. You are literally in my neighborhood with this video. Lol. 🤣.. I've been wanting to message since your Salem video last week.. I think it’s their headquarters. Take care in your videos are amazing.
I think social media plays a part in malls going by the wayside. If you think about it, why did we go to malls, even without money sometimes?? To be seen and to socialize, maybe meet a new girl or a new best buddy at the arcade. People don't have to physically go anywhere anymore and most don't. Society seems less open today than back in days past. I know its not just one cause, I'm just adding my two cents. Its sad to see things go, especially things that played such a big part of our lives. And what did we trade it for? The internet of things? If it didn't mean losing Adam The Woo, I'd gladly trade back, it somehow meant more.
Happy you made it to Kellys. I will like to see if the one in Florida is similar. It's my fav roast beef but i really have nothing on it except lettuce tomatoes and pickle. Just want to enjoy the meat and buttered bun. I enjoyed seeing Jordans. I use to work for them. My store only gave out chocolate chip cookies and dipping dot. Not the most fun one. Safe travels
I remember being in the Square One Mall before it opened back in the early 90s to get the Footlocker store all set up for the malls grand opening. I've only been back a handfull of times since then.

Well done Adam...went here many times in past and used to be so many great places to eat..Hilltop and Topsfield fair every year ...many great memories
I grew up at these malls Liberty Tree, Square One Mall and North Shore Mall which is the more active of the three in that area. Great to see you enjoying some time here in the North Shore. If you come back in the summer time check out Salem Willows you would like that area of Salem right on the ocean.
This reminds me so much of Dan Bell’s dead mall series which I absolutely love!!! It puts me all in my nostalgic feels!
Excellent episode 👍 thank you Adam!
Simon seems to have the blueprint for destroying malls.
So the Dinosaur and the hippo were a staple at
Mini golf course located near where the Square One Mall is located.
Know where it is now?
Visiting my town of Medford! Hope you enjoyed your visit!
When Adam said Skull Rock I immediately thought Stranger Things lol but no that’s in Georgia 😂
Love those sounds of route 1 traffic!! 😂Dennis Leary is a staple there!!!
I love that you are in my area.. I've been following you for sometime now (since your White Ford Van days), not sure how long you will be in the area but if you are still around I would be honored to buy a coffee ☕☕😊.. There are also tons of filming locations in this area plus I could explain the Orange T - Rex.. Lol.. Thank you and take care...
Check out 4 things in connecticut, Gillette castle, Mystic, Seaport, and aquarium and Lake Compounce theme park which is still open for its Christmas time stuff only on the weekends and then in Bristol Connecticut on the border of Southington is the ESPN complex. I think it’s their headquarters. Take care in your videos are amazing.
Adam you had the roast beef sandwich without the river sauce you need the river sauce next time😊 I sent you a DM have a good one buddy
Ha, I saw the thumbnail and recognized it right away. Nice to have you in the north east Adam
It's been years since I have been to that Jordan's furniture. It has gotten way bigger and a lot more stuff inside. Wow.
I remember being in the Square One Mall before it opened back in the early 90s to get the Footlocker store all set up for the malls grand opening. I've only been back a handfull of times since then.
It’s sad we have empty malls here too. The mall I use to go to as a teen is torn down. Good video. I enjoyed it,
That dinosaur was a part of a mini golf establishment back in the day.
You’re in my neck of the woods now! You should come check out New Bedford sometime, lots of hidden gems.
Adam good morning thanks for sharing this, the malls are dead lol like you i remember them being full of people back in the past. Jordan furniture. Nice to see this. Not from the north, im a southern guy. Would someday visit, you take care. 😎👍📸
Me seeing the thumbnail: "Ah yes, Route 1 in Saugus." Edit - Me seeing the Amelia Earhart mural in Medford: "Oh weird that's my brother's neighborhood."
Oh my goshhh!!!!! You have to let me host you next time you’re here!! I literally live 20 minutes from the Gallagher/Kardashian tag!!! There’s so many hidden spots that are so neat here !
Love it, you’re in my state Adam. Most of our furniture came from Jordans. If you want Chinese, check out Kowloon’s, that’s a local landmark.
He went there the other day
I just watched, I was as couple days off….awesome, love Kowloon’s
go to Crane Manor filmed Witches of Eastwick there , and it was the summer home of Chevy Chase, when he was a kid.
I miss Sears. Used Craftsman tools alot and was nice of I had issues I could just return to the store and replace. Now, not so easy.
Indoor malls are just about extinct. Which definitely sucks in my opinion. Keep up the great vlogs Adam!
Craftsman. No other would do when it came to tools. As far as home appliances? Kenmore.
Very interesting life you live Adam!
Stagnant….. completely underused today and a great word. Kudos.
I think the Hans Klopek reference (9:30) made my day. :) I'm still giggling.
Empty mall what its sad went places close down and never comes back 😢 have fun adam love the videos
Adam thanks for touring my home state!!
When you’re back home, you can check out one of the last remaining ope Sears store at the Florida Mall
I live close by to where the Buena Park Fuddrucker’s used to be. I definitely miss it. The burgers there were pretty good. The former Fuddrucker’s is now yet another Korean dining establishment. That said, glad to see the chain is at least surviving elsewhere.
Glad to have you in the hood. Any more Boston area things planned? Freedom Trail? Cannoli in the North End (Modern is the Best)?
Hey Adam just clicked on your channel to see if you've done the inevitable goodbye video yet but no I was pleasantly surprised to see you still at it. Will you ever return to the main channel for some old school bandos?
