I am in my early 30s and single. So one thing as a girl I want to advice is keep your body language extremely strong and so is your voice.Keep.pepper spray and make a fake call saying someone in your family is in police and congrats on their achievement. Trust me it has helped me so many times. Creeps thinks you are helpless and they take advantage of that situation. So be smart to ward off such creeps.
@@_shruti_sri maybe being loud helps in this case or even confronting helps....As you said in the end that you had literally scolded him in the morning and he got away.....so yeah thats how it works....

In the past, I used to hate the fact that my parents were so strict with me that they didn't let me go to the market alone. But now I understand they were right....and you're a very strong girl
That sounds incredibly difficult, and I'm so sorry that happened. No one should have to experience that kind of discomfort or fear. I must say that take lot of courage
That police guy was actually not guilty of clicking your pictures. He wanted to actually gain your sympathy and your trust by showing you that he was honest. That is the reason you said that he did not do or say anything obscene but in fact that was his game plan. He wanted to fool you into believing him that he was an honest and a truthful guy and he did not pursue you further not because he was again an honest man but only because he did not want his job to be in any danger. In all this, he wanted a girl and Al's he wanted to save his image. He did not want to look like a pervert. That't why I don't feel safe even around police because I feel that they have a greater advantage of getting away with their crimes as compared to a common man. But thanks for sharing this. I also had similar apprehensions about traveling in the train but just 2 weeks back I traveled in the train and I felt that it was good and I though I was simply exaggerating myself in saying that the train is an unsafe place but now I think that I should continue in keeping my apprehensions about traveling alone. Thanks again. I think women will be safer in this country when we start seeing more and more women in the government (MLA's), police(not just women police section but actual police, that too as IGP, DGP, and more IPS Officers,), judges in supreme and high courts, doctors, lawyers, medical fraternity, sweepers, cleaners, basically seeing women everywhere around us even more women shopkeepers. I just hope that day comes soon before this world ends.
Similar incident happened to me what you first shared five years back , in train the person sitting on the paralell lower berth and I was traumatized for months ,so much that I fell down while deboarding the train .It still gives me goosebumps , but then i heard similar incidents from people and like you said we have normalised these things to an extent that nothing seems too big or shocking ,no matter how much we develop as a country , women will always be unsafe .
I'm so sorry this happened to you Shruti. I hope you are doing fine. Also, many women have shared similar incidents during their journey in trains and it sends a shiver down my spine. Let's all hope that we men collectively take responsibility to not pass this to the future generations.
Actually I don't know why but it is always an old uncle... Same incident happened with me even being a boy... i went to church last Sunday...An old uncle sitting just behind me and trying to become friendly (in church we consider all people as our family and also handshake 🤝 in the end)...it was very normal...but when I was waiting for my uber outside the church the same guy came there and handskaked with me and trying to become more friendly...even i don't asked he is sharing his address "ki mai paas me hi rehta hu koi pareshani ho to batana" again and again saying and I was like Mai to ladka😅 hu mujhe kya pareshani hogi i usually go to church alone bcz I am living in hostel not at home...then he asked for my number and Maine de Diya then he called me and told me to save his number and told me ki Mai akele hi rehta hu koi pareshani ho to ye paas me hi mera ghar hai...and then he asked my address I told bcz being a introvert i do not have the habit of saying no..and the strange thing is he said "mai aa sakta hu room pe" in hostel and I was speechless....like Mai ladka hu fir bhi ye insaan first time Mila or itna kyu jaanna chahta hai mera number mera address and isko room pe bhi aana hai or bol Raha hai mai Akela rehta hu mere Ghar chalo and....and I said "no bcz most of the time I will be not there"....what i guess his intention were not good were like some kind of kidnapping type and tabhi mera uber aa gayi and mai chala gaya...usko apne Ghar pe le Jana tha mujhe kisi bhi tarike se Agar wo sahi bhi hoga to aise harkate karoge to koi bhi galat hi samjhega "What i learnt is that don't trust people even in temple church or any religious places" 😅and being a boy mujhe itna ajeeb laga Ghar pe aake us din samajh me aaya ki ladkiyon ko to ye roz face karna padhta hoga in public places sorry for the long comment
I feel connected with what you said .... I had these kind of incidents 7 times till now . I am 18 year old and all these things started to happen When I was JUST 9 YEAR OLD ..... The odacity in these men out there .... I dont know whether they realise their mistake or not .. its all just super sad that we have to deal with this forever 😢 this isn't going to stop . I hope you alll stay safe .. btw i appreciate your honesty a lot , usually boys feel shy to share their stories and they have the fear of being judged... Thank you and stay safe !
Iam a 45 year old woman and had booked in 2nd ac one guy sitting opposite me was just staring at me like how you described the other passengers were also men I was feeling so uncomfortable amongst them Imagine tgis happening to a woman at 45 While i was studying in school i used to take a bus from the bus stand so that i can get a seat and avoid the rush A man got into the bus and was masturbating looking at me..i was not aware about it what he was doing then but felt uncomfortable and got down from the bus This has been going on genrations after generations but i urge you young girls not to let go of these creeps scotfree Raise your voice use every possible way to defend yourself but dont stop living your dreams
Tbh we all have had such incidents not just while travelling alone, like anywhere at any time. It’s just so normalised and i hate it.. Also, you're reallt brave bro...
One night, I was walking with my sister to a restaurant. She was treating me to dinner to celebrate her first salary. The streets were quiet, and there were no women around-only men. As we walked, I noticed something unsettling: almost every man in the area was staring at her. I couldn't help but feel scared and uneasy. Out of concern, I asked her, "Aren't you afraid? Everyone is staring at you." Her response left me speechless. She said, "No, I’m not afraid. I’m used to it. Men always stare with lustful eyes." What shocked me most was her courage. While I, as a boy, was constantly afraid in that situation, she carried herself with strength and composure, despite the unfair reality she faces daily. This experience taught me to truly respect and salute the strength of women. The challenges they endure and their resilience in the face of such situations are truly remarkable.
I am a girl and this video gives me the creeps. I had many similar experiences like this even when I was a minor and I don't understand why people don't take action unless something happens. I understand u must have been so scared to confront the man but at least the family and the TC could have confronted him. They need to take some action to prevent such issues

It happened in my compartment in sleeper class in 2018, saw happening with one lady by a drunken passenger. I contacted the co military passenger group. they helped her with this problem. it happened near Jamshedpur. I am a south Indian and was going to Calcutta.

This is so true. Women think that around military or paramilitary officers they are safe but they are not. When i was 15 I was travelling by train because of sports purpose and I had all my friends around me and my two teachers but they were in different compartments. So a friend told me that this person is looking at me constantly. I was shocked at first because I didn't feel that but then I looked at the compartment besides me and I was shocked that a bhaiya who was around 25 years old and was from army (i dont mean to discredit i totally respect army but this is just the case) was actually staring at me. I was confused and I am quite extrovert so at first I stared at him back aggressively to get his gaze away but it didn't work so I asked him what why are you looking at me but still he had his creepy face on. we all just shifted to our another friends seat and had to sit there until it was late and they all slept. Please to every lady out there always carry pepper spray and help another lady if you feel like shes in trouble
Feeling proud indian army jang ke maidan me kadi na harte 😂😂 Well well well...mujhe generalize nahi karna chaiye lekin ye log khud apne ko gentlemen sabit karte hai. Bolte hai ordinary men cannot join army. Even a corrupt police officer is better than that mf. Armed forces me women harassment ke bhot cases aate hai. My uncle is a driver in indian army. So i know all this stuff. Unfortunately you cannot trust any ANY armed force officer. I am so proud on how i never idolized them like god.

Its understandable that you didn't know how to react and were not mentally prepared for it. But in future as soon as you realise that something is amiss. Do something. Or at least shout. Just make it very clear that you will not tolerate anything wrong and are not as vulnerable as they think you are.
I agree! The fact it happened for the very first time in my life I didn’t know ki Kya karna sahi hai! But yes you are right we should never show them that we are afraid or vulnerable!!! Thank you though!
I had a really bad experience… when I was six some guy touched me he was middle aged almost old he put his hand down my pants and I just ran away… it was really bad but I hope you heal sending hugs❤❤
My goddddd!!! Great great great nation 😭😭 I hope you are fine ! Plz if anytime you want to text just drop a text and will talk about it!! You are very strong trust me ❤
This same incident happened with me in 2019 . There was a man around 27 to 30 years old with his wife and a small kid around 6 month old. My birth was lower and he had side lower in another section . Jab uske wife aas paas nhi hoti ya phir so rhi hoti to wo continously muje hi dekh rha tha with smile on his face . And I just ignore him 😑
I'm not sure if what I know is true but from what I've seen railways provide a police officer in compartments where there are solo female travellers. So if this sort of incident happens to you then definitely inform the police officer. Hopefully that would help. Please take care everyone❤
Wah, I always blame my mom that why she is so protective towards me, she doesn't let me go out alone, I asked mom so now should I keep a special bodyguard for myself But now I am understanding why my parents are so protective 🤧🤧 Not all men but always men I don't think any such girl even Exists who is not affected by all these things.....
first of all, I would like to appreciate you for gathering courage to share such traumatic incidents. it's just all about the mindset of the people. and yes, thank you for sharing this. I just want to say be very careful and aware while traveling.
Didi you did the right thing to awear people, I'm 18 a similar experience happend with me when I was traveling with my parents in train, a guy who was drunk sitting next birth to mine first kept staring at me with a creepy smile, after few hours he tried to talk to my parents. And at night when everyone was asleep and my parents were asleep , that asshole tried to get on my bed.. And I feel so ashamed of this society that people sitting next to us (in the front birth) they were awake and literally saw what was happening. Until I realized something on my feets and I shouted aloud , told my parents everything. Horrible experience later on next day he somehow managed to get a seat just next to me, and what he did.. He started to watch pornography, and I could clearly hear the sounds from his phone.
Same 😢mere sath v train mai ek bar aisa huwa tha banglore se guwahati aa rahi thi seat reservation kia tha lower birth mili thi ek aadmi around 35 age ka tha wo bar bar mujhe dekh rha tha and raat ko toh wo mere seat k pass aa gya tha wo toh acha huwa ki meri nind khul gyi aur maine phir ussey bht sunaya uske baad wo waha se chala gya bht dar gyi thi mai agr nind nhi khulti toh pta nhi kya hota and thank god mere sath mere friends the to support me
Literally same thing happened to me when I was traveling with my mother..I was in upper berth when I saw one guy was staring at me bohot Ganda wala stare aur maine phir usko gusse dekha to he was smiling I mean koi itna gadha kaise ho sakta har ek ladki ke sath aise hi creepy incidents huye honge😢😢
We failed as a man 😢 feeling sorry for you sister One advice in railways you can call the RPF( railway protection force) if you feel something wrong. Stay strong
This type of incidents happened with me too and now I'm very strong and I don't spare these people! But deep inside it hurts me it's like someone is pressing my throat it's really disgusting and horrible! 4 incidents happened with me when I was just 10 yrs old 🙂
see!! our great great nation and great great humans around us!! it must be really difficult for you to just accept it and i understand what you must be feeling!!! take care! your are very strong
Thats too traumatizing.... its the sad reality of India that even in 2024 women are not SAFE!! we never get justice and nobody even tries to help us... no women has got justice till date in India (leaving few) as we no one case in recent:(
"Once, while I was traveling on a train, my seat was the upper berth in a 3rd AC coach. There was a man in an army uniform. It was around 9 PM when I went to sleep, and in the morning, around 5 AM, I woke up to find that the man was genuinely touching my hand. He was just beside my upper berth. I was shocked and looked at him in a very uncomfortable way. He then covered his face and pretended like he had done nothing and went back to sleeping."
It's high time true brothers who celebrate and take blessings on Rakshabandhan empower their sisters with self-defense skills and gear like pepper spray, etc.
Trust me every girl has faced this , it is such a shame that people have normalised it to this extent that they just brush it off like "arrey ye to hota hi reheta hai" . THIS IS NOT TOLERABLE! Jab aise situation aati hai to lagta hai rou ya kuch to karu jisse ye sab ruke but ...well we have nothing in our hands because " ye sab to hota hi reheta hai tum achhe se raho". 🙂
Sadly it is the reality. 5 out of 4 will say this , "Ye to hota hi reheta hai", people really must change their mentality or girls will never ever feel safe , and this has already started .
Thanks for sharing your story, honestly I always have a dream to travel solo but after listening the stories I felt so terrified ,uncomfortable and unsafe to travel. You're very strong girl ❤️❤️.
Please travel solo! These things have no pause button, and we can’t wait for the 'perfect' time because there are very few chances when everything will align perfectly. So go, take those solo trips-it's important! Just remember to prioritize your safety. Plan a budget so you don’t have to compromise on your well-being. That’s all-go explore!🤗
As a men i say those kind of mens are not supposed to live girl u are strong Stay strong! 💪 actually so fucked up yr how can he do that !! I believe the best seat possible for girls could be the 2nd AC side lower it has curtains and covers your whole seat . You can simply avoid the whole world and just enjoy the journey. Ik it's not the solution over this but I travelled 2 years back when I was 16 y/o in 3rd AC too I never experienced such.I'm 18 years old, but 2 years back (16) I travelled in kota patna while returning home for holidays i never acted humanitarian towards anyone. Girls should be smart enough for the world we're living in and especially if we are alone either while travelling or anything. Try to not make any kind of Convo with anyone. Avoid small talks while in journey, kyuki log orr watch out krte hai. anyone in it, kyuki it's better to avoid people just keep minding our business. Keep seriousness in your tone and have confidence over yourself. Men aren't trustworthy at all.
Happened with me !!3:584:02 I was in 8th class and travelling in train to bhopal with parents...and there was an issue with the seat so that guy offered his seat which was upper front seat for me and my father accepted and later on when we reached he thanked that guy too!! But he stared me the whole 30 hr& after a break again..and i just trying to overcome my feeling i was so shocked and felt fucking uncomfortable but just was small and don't wanted to make a panic situation because my father is so strict and harsh maybe that's why i tried to let it go. But now i understand
Inn sab cheezo ki aadat ho chuki hai mujhe , since i was 9, these things happen till now(im 18) i can not even count them. Muskuraiye aap INDIA Mein hain😊
Same incident happened with me also but that tym i was 10 years old...i remembered this incident because its so scary....now im 22 but I never ever traveled alone in the train because in trains mens are so scary.....😢😮
I relate with this police wala incident , mai Haridwar gyi hue the apni family ke saath mata ji ka darshan karne and there was a long line of people's so ussi line mai aur mera pura parivaar lage hue the and then a middle age police man touched my breast,, , for some second i didn't understand what happened with me it gives me a shock tab se mujhe har middle age people aur police walo se nafrat hone lagi h .
I don't know how to say... I'm 15 year old and I'm in 9 standard. One day i was going to math coaching and a man is creepily following me from bike i was so scared that i could not think anything the only thing i know is that i try to distract him by going in crowdy places. But he kept following me. Suddenly he pass by my side and try to gave me his number . I don't know how i got power that i screamed on him. I can say that he was also surprised. He was legit a man over 30 years old but still he was so impure with his mindset😢.
Not only train I believe everywhere girls go thru this. I had a very bad experience in my gym n that man was 47 years old who had a daughter of 15 years old. I think buddon ko zyada chul hoti hain
Viewers, specially ( boys )don’t just listen 🎧 for Entertainment. Please keep an eye around each and everyone, and help our sisters to live freely in our country. Ek coach me around 100+ log hote hai if unme se 10 bhi helpful log honge to kisi bhi women ke liye unsafe situation nai aayegi.
I always end up colliding with creeps and fun fact is they are either oldiee or uncle vibe...trust meh I'm not gonna say all man are same on this but these creeps aren't even 'man' themselves... I using bus transportation have to travel daily ,i even found a stalker who keeps following me or sometimes keeps smiling at me weirdly, asks me anything in english ,but i always ignore him,but fun fact is i met him year ago in the same bus where he offered me to join a job where female staff is required,i ignored but he touched a nerve where i denied him saying no completely,he even asked me abt my residence, clg, age etc. obv i wouldn't answer him on this .. after that I recently saw him sitting on opposite of me in the very same bus,its been. Year, ik sme people will say to forget abt such people but GUYS the things such creep do can't get outta my mind..i can never forget these faces.. it makes me worried and scared till the point where i always check the bus or stand smwhere else as not just him there's many more version of him in the bus...
I was just scrolling RUclips and see this video means this is very goosebumps story litrealllyyy govt has should improve to security of women's I hope kbhi bhi ab aisa kisi ke sth na ho bas yhi dua hai kisi ke sth nhi I'm travelling tommoror Delhi to kolkata with my brother I hope I will be safe and my brother
Tbh a girl can only understand these type of thingss kuch log sochenge ki ok get over itt essa bhi kuch nii hua jo itnee time tk yaad rhe but something like this happened to me in train when i was travelling back to my home and its been 4 years i still genuinely fear from travelling in train... I didn't got the courage to tell this to my parentss ki why i don't want to travel again in a train but kbhi bhi khi train se travel krne ki baat aati h so i just don't do it either i cancel the plan or change the transport... Ik it might sound stupid to some people but that thing of getting traumatized by something never gets old i still remember every singlee thing of that train ridee
I totally understand Harshita but all u would say please please please don’t stop travelling via train ! girl, I feel you are really talking about me the photograph thing - I was with my Maa , I don't usually do this but for some reason I had my face covered and I remove the stall for a minute maybe to eat or drink water and this guy sitting on side aisle took a picture who was anyway trying to check me out from quite long time and that army thing damm I never talked to someone about it because 1- they were army people 2- I was affraid people will blame me that I even had a conversation with strangers so I was going back to my home from college and there were about 4-5 army personals one of them was senior so I felt very safe and secure ki thank god I got Army personals in my cabin I will be safe and all then we had little conversation about their regiment and all for some reason I can't remember the junior left maybe to meet some of their friends but this senior was there only he was sitting in front of me, then he moved to my side of seat and tried to sleep on my lap but then the juniors returned and he couldn't later when I was about to leave he came to the gate and asked for my number which I didn't give but yeah it was scary .... It was about a few years ago but I can never forget also the senior was way too old compared to me that time - maltab papa ki age ka approx
You are right. Every woman is facing this kinda of problem while travelling alone. Ajkal train me helpline wagera chalu huyi hai aur achhe train me wo kaam bhi karte hai call krne se. I think women safety related 1 helpline bhi start krna bht jruri hai IRCTC m, taake humlog travelling ke time iss type ke problem m pde to turant action liya jaye.
I think 1 women only compartment should be there for women travelling alone. It'll be a great initiative and relief for single women and they can travel comfortably.
this same happened with me ....the same situation...same position...n that boy was constantelly staring at me...i mean how do i explain it that was really so much uncomfortable ...
When i was around 7 i was traveling with my parents in train. I was on the window seat that mid aged man was sitting infront of me. I was wearing a knee length skirt. That was a local train without any lights. It was so dark around 8-9pm. That guy was bending towards me to touch my thighs inside my skirt while talking to my dad. I froze.
I was travelling in train around 6 pm or something..wasn’t too late and even if it is, it’s not a justification for harassment. As any other local train where you get seat really hard as there’s so much crowd. My maternal Grandpa somehow managed me to get a seat after a heated argument with a guy over that seat. I sat and a guy next to me, willingly started touching my waist..he was doing that as if his hands were being touched to my waist by the movement of train. The thing is 2 of the women sitting just against me didn’t say anything to him. Well, I can’t blame them either, even I had no guts to call him out. I couldn’t comprehend what’s happening and I tried convincing myself that it’s because of the movement of train but I was wrong. Sitting next to me he was talking to someone calling “bhabhi” and using very filthy language. By looking at his clothes and chappals, I had an idea that he belongs to lower class (low income household) I just got up from the seat and for the rest of the journey I stood near the window. I kept thinking about that incident for several days. That was horrific. I just told my mother about the incident not my father or anybody else, reason being I know I would be the only one blamed. That was my mistake that I decided to travel alone at 6 Pm. (PS- I was wearing a full sharara..no revealing dress)
Brooo I trust you !!!! Nd the blame game goes on nd on if we tell or dicuss I mean mere he comment section m kuch logh bol rhe ! Not only male but female too they are blaming me only 😂 can’t help it but I must say you are very strong don’t think about all this 🌸 nd please don’t be afraid of travelling just be safe nd take your percautions😌👀 you are a fighter ❤️
@_shruti_sri “aurat hi aurat ki dushman hai” couldn’t get any better representation of this phrase! Your comment section of this vdo proves it well. Yeah, these things can never stop us..we have to fight back and stay strong. Most importantly as females we should help each other in such times and stand with each other. You too take care n stay strong! 💪🏼 love uu
Me as a boy of age 17 i can not feel the sitution you are feeling about . But i can definitely suggest you to carry papper spray, some self defence gazeds for women and do learn some basic self defense for saftey💪💪💪💪💪👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Could you specify the pattern of his uniform? Was it proper khaki or something like millitary jungle like patterns? and also the colour if you remember? if he is from millitary na then I'm pretty sure he's from Non commissioned ranks (non officers) they are usually very young like they join the forces after their 12th so they don't go college/haven't attended colllege before and they are also on much lower ranks than actual officer.. they go through very rigorous and tough training and usually live alone so they are always very desperate for getting into relationships and talking to girls (blaming testosterone lol) if that second guy was honest to you then I'm pretty sure he had no ill intention, kyunki agar inke baren main inke officers ya fir seniors ko pata chala ki ye log galat things main involved hai to inko kaafi badi punishment hoti and they can even loose their job. That guy did wrong and he knew that and was he even honest to you so you can understand. I know it was still wrong of him but you cannot even blame him, as he may have left his family at very young age (around 16-19)

Esa hi incident mere sath bus me hua tha me exam dene ke liye gayi thi ghar aate aate late ho gya tha, mene local bus li uske baad meri destination ke liye koi bus nahi thi and I notice ek aadmi meri seat ke pass pass apna pair laye jaa rhe mere bag me chhata tha mene bag se prevent kiya uske pair par lag bhi gyi usne mujhe sorry bola uske baad bhi constantly mujhe ghoore ja raha tha mere pass bhi ek ladka baitha vo bhi meri hi district se tha vo aadmi usse friendly hone ki koshish kar rha tha ham kha utrane vale ye pucchne ki koshish kar raha tha, vo ladka ye samjh rha tha aur usse kha bhi ki aap sidhe khade raho dur raho, pass me exam dekar aaye 3-4 ladke khade unhone use vha se dur kiya thodi der me vo mere sammne wali seat par baith gya phir bhi jab tak vo utra nhi tab tak mujhe ghoore ja raha tha usne bahut jyada shraab pi rakhi thi phir bhi condecter ne use vha khade hone diya mtlb sirf apne kiraye se mtlb aur logo ki safety se koi mtlb nahi but I am thankful to that guy jo mere pass baitha tha usne mujhe kha ki me tension na lu, aur usne mujhe help bhi offer ki thi ki uska dost usse lene aayega vo mujhe bus stand tak chhod denge mujhe apne gaav tak ke liye agli bus leni thi halaki vo aadmi pahle ke stop pe hi utar gya tha to jarurat nahi padi, mujhe us ladke ka naam tak nahi malum, proper light nhi thi face bhi yaad nhi raha but usne jo meri help ki I am thankful to him and also bus me 3-4 ladke the bus unhi ki vajah se mere ander ye hope baki rah gayi ki yadi 1 vaykati bura hai to bahut achhe log bhi hai but ye horrifying incident mere dimaag me dar ki tarah baith gya aaj bhi kabhi uncomfortable situation me vo sab recall hone lagta hai mujhe aur Is incident ne mujhe self defense aane ki importance samjhayi kyoki har vakt aap jhasi ki rani nahi ban skti par aapko bharosa rahta hai ki koi problem hui to aap at least apne liye lad payegi government ko schools me ladkiyo ko self defense class arrange karni chahiye, mene aaj tak ye incident kisi se share nahi kiya thanks to you me yha kah paa rahi hu.
Hi Shruti, Randomly came to this video. I am embarrassed. All I can say is I am deeply sorry. It won't help anyone, but just wanted to apologise. I can imagine the helplessness while I watched it whole.
Same happen to me because diwali ke holidays ke dauran mere friends sab ghar ja chuke the par mere assignment complete nahi tha to mujhe rukna para so next day I decided to go to my home me train me baithi thi then ak burha admi type ka baitha train me then usne chai piya tab tak sab thik tha par mene notice kiya he was staring at me luckyly next station par 7 military ke log aye unhone apna saman set kiya phir mere bagal ke seat par baithe unhone notice kiya mai dari huwi thi because pehli baar mai akele travel kar rahi thi then unhone us uncle ko dekha ko mujhe ghur rahe the kuch der bad unhone us uncle se kaha kya problem hai apko phir wo dar gaya and dekhna band kar diya
Didi same happened with me....few weeks ago this month only i was travelling back from delhi to amritsar i went for some function with my uncle aunt and i was sitting on the train(sitting train)we had 3 seats and we were all sitting together there ....aage ko 2 aur seats thi aur mere aage ki seat ke aage joh seat thi woh hamari side ko face krri thi aur table tha beech mai.....train ko start hue kch time hua tha and i was not feeling that much scared but after some time i was constantly noticing that uncle (sitting on the seat facing me)with his wife was staring at me continuously idk after that i started feeling scared but idk whyyyyyy i still regret whyyy didnt i told my aunt(i told her afterwards and she said you should have told me earlier in the train who was he)and every time train stopped he ysed to stand up for some time and when 3rd station came he stood up for 4 5 minutes and i did eye contact with him and he was signaling me towards the washroom with his head and i was really having tremors on my hands i seriouly feel i should have told my uncle aunt at that moment but idk whyy i didnt and i just ignored and sat on the side stick to the window he even took out his phone and idk what he was trying to do like his mobile was straight towards me and i literally stick towards the window to avoid seeing him ....i badly wanted to use the washroom but i was so scared i could not i waited for so many hours and after every station i prayed that he gets off the train but after some hours he got off the train and i was soooooooooo relaxed . After comming home i told everything and my parents are so nice that they understood everything and told me what i should do in this situation.....i knew what to do but i chose not to do ......still feeling scared as im going to travel in train again but not that much because i would be with my family Also i was travelling in train after so many years so i didnt knew anything during the journey Rone ki halat ho gai thi meri aur fir maine mere bhai ko btaya and he was also understanding and told me that next time i should tell at that moment only and now i will keep it in my mind Another thing that this happend to me for the first time (this KIND of thing) during travelling
Omg I'm so sorry this happened to you! This is why I always travel with my best friends, we always look out for each other. You did the right thing, you took care of yourself. You’re brave and strong, and I’m so glad you came home safe. 😊
Govt should give special compartment for women in every train.
Yes
I agree! That would be really great 🌸✨
Kuch nhi karne wali government rote raho🤡
@ ok ok thank youuuu
Already has ...
In every indian train the first compartment after the luggage compartment is only reserved for women and child
I do the samee always

Fake story 😂

Thank you for your kind words and support, I appreciate it a lot! ❤
Actually I don't know why but it is always an old uncle... Same incident happened with me even being a boy... i went to church last Sunday...An old uncle sitting just behind me and trying to become friendly (in church we consider all people as our family and also handshake 🤝 in the end)...it was very normal...but when I was waiting for my uber outside the church the same guy came there and handskaked with me and trying to become more friendly...even i don't asked he is sharing his address "ki mai paas me hi rehta hu koi pareshani ho to batana" again and again saying and I was like Mai to ladka😅 hu mujhe kya pareshani hogi i usually go to church alone bcz I am living in hostel not at home...then he asked for my number and Maine de Diya then he called me and told me to save his number and told me ki Mai akele hi rehta hu koi pareshani ho to ye paas me hi mera ghar hai...and then he asked my address I told bcz being a introvert i do not have the habit of saying no..and the strange thing is he said "mai aa sakta hu room pe" in hostel and I was speechless....like Mai ladka hu fir bhi ye insaan first time Mila or itna kyu jaanna chahta hai mera number mera address and isko room pe bhi aana hai or bol Raha hai mai Akela rehta hu mere Ghar chalo and....and I said "no bcz most of the time I will be not there"....what i guess his intention were not good were like some kind of kidnapping type and tabhi mera uber aa gayi and mai chala gaya...usko apne Ghar pe le Jana tha mujhe kisi bhi tarike se
Agar wo sahi bhi hoga to aise harkate karoge to koi bhi galat hi samjhega
"What i learnt is that don't trust people even in temple church or any religious places"
😅and being a boy mujhe itna ajeeb laga Ghar pe aake us din samajh me aaya ki ladkiyon ko to ye roz face karna padhta hoga in public places
sorry for the long comment
Such behavior is suspicious. But it can also have a mental health reason.

I was feeling so uncomfortable amongst them
Imagine tgis happening to a woman at 45

One night, I was walking with my sister to a restaurant. She was treating me to dinner to celebrate her first salary. The streets were quiet, and there were no women around-only men. As we walked, I noticed something unsettling: almost every man in the area was staring at her.
I couldn't help but feel scared and uneasy. Out of concern, I asked her, "Aren't you afraid? Everyone is staring at you."
Her response left me speechless. She said, "No, I’m not afraid. I’m used to it. Men always stare with lustful eyes."
What shocked me most was her courage.
Feeling ashamed as a man.
Personally, when I am travelling, I consciously try not to make anyone else uncomfortable in any way be it female or male.
It gives me goosebumps too!! really wish that the govt. or the people by themselves should have some basic manners to not do such things.

Specially train is not safe at all… u r so brave..😮

Well well well...mujhe generalize nahi karna chaiye lekin ye log khud apne ko gentlemen sabit karte hai. Bolte hai ordinary men cannot join army. Even a corrupt police officer is better than that mf. @TheHariPutraOfficially your sister is strong and it's nice to know that you as a man acknowledge this thing
Its understandable that you didn't know how to react and were not mentally prepared for it. But in future as soon as you realise that something is amiss. Do something. Or at least shout. Just make it very clear that you will not tolerate anything wrong and are not as vulnerable as they think you are.

I'm not sure if what I know is true but from what I've seen railways provide a police officer in compartments where there are solo female travellers. So if this sort of incident happens to you then definitely inform the police officer. Hopefully that would help. Please take care everyone❤

One advice in railways you can call the RPF( railway protection force) if you feel something wrong.
Stay strong
This type of incidents happened with me too and now I'm very strong and I don't spare these people! But deep inside it hurts me it's like someone is pressing my throat it's really disgusting and horrible! 4 incidents happened with me when I was just 10 yrs old 🙂

Such incidents just traumatized us for an eternity
I hope it will never repeat again in future ❤

Trust me every girl has faced this , it is such a shame that people have normalised it to this extent that they just brush it off like "arrey ye to hota hi reheta hai" . THIS IS NOT TOLERABLE!
Jab aise situation aati hai to lagta hai rou ya kuch to karu jisse ye sab ruke but ...well we have nothing in our hands because " ye sab to hota hi reheta hai tum achhe se raho". 🙂
Soooo truee!!
This shouldn't be some "hota rehta hai" situation at all! This shouldn't be normalized. I feel so bad.

I was in 8th class and travelling in train to bhopal with parents...and there was an issue with the seat so that guy offered his seat which was upper front seat for me and my father accepted and later on when we reached he thanked that guy too!! But he stared me the whole 30 hr& after a break again..and i just trying to overcome my feeling i was so shocked and felt fucking uncomfortable but just was small and don't wanted to make a panic situation because my father is so strict and harsh maybe that's why i tried to let it go. But now i understand
I can feel that fear...I have been through this so many times even with some relatives...feels like slapping them
❤️thank you for understanding
I mean current situation is so unfathomable that as a man I have released that I am thinking "the second is incident is atleast not that bad"

Year, ik sme people will say to forget abt such people but GUYS the things such creep do can't get outta my mind..i can never forget these faces.. it makes me worried and scared till the point where i always check the bus or stand smwhere else as not just him there's many more version of him in the bus...

girl, I feel you are really talking about me
the photograph thing - I was with my Maa , I don't usually do this but for some reason I had my face covered and I remove the stall for a minute maybe to eat or drink water and this guy sitting on side aisle took a picture who was anyway trying to check me out from quite long time
and that army thing damm I never talked to someone about it because
1- they were army people
2- I was affraid people will blame me that I even had a conversation with strangers
so I was going back to my home from college and there were about 4-5 army personals one of them was senior
so I felt very safe and secure ki thank god I got Army personals in my cabin I will be safe and all
then we had little conversation about their regiment and all
for some reason I can't remember the junior left maybe to meet some of their friends
but this senior was there only he was sitting in front of me, then he moved to my side of seat and tried to sleep on my lap
but then the juniors returned and he couldn't later when I was about to leave he came to the gate and asked for my number which I didn't give
but yeah it was scary .... It was about a few years ago but I can never forget
also the senior was way too old compared to me that time - maltab papa ki age ka approx
And ik people won’t believe but u trust you Rashi ! I m glad you spoke your experience out 🫠!!! Thank you and you are very strong ♥️

By looking at his clothes and chappals, I had an idea that he belongs to lower class (low income household)
I just got up from the seat and for the rest of the journey I stood near the window.

After comming home i told everything and my parents are so nice that they understood everything and told me what i should do in this situation.....i knew what to do but i chose not to do ......still feeling scared as im going to travel in train again but not that much because i would be with my family
Also i was travelling in train after so many years so i didnt knew anything during the journey
Rone ki halat ho gai thi meri aur fir maine mere bhai ko btaya and he was also understanding and told me that next time i should tell at that moment only and now i will keep it in my mind
Another thing that this happend to me for the first time (this KIND of thing) during travelling
