+lyes djbr I have all of them too, and have r3e. r3e is a good sim, and have the most amazing sounds. I don't regret having bought the r3e. I race most of the time in offline mode, and for me AI in r3e is OK (AI in AC is terrible).
+lyes djbr Hey! for me it is worth buying it. as simulation is perhaps not the most refined, but it is of a good standard and has some very interesting and valuable car classes, the sound is incredible, the AI is pretty good, and online there is always some people to compete with. It may seem a bit expensive going to purchase the contents, but often they make discounts. and about car packages, you are not forced to buy the complete packages if you want, but simply the cars that you prefer, and that's enough to be able to do online and offline races against all the other cars in the package. however to start I can recommend you to download the free game, set the ffb in the way you prefer, and try for free the cars you would buy (from the store you can try them for free), to have a clear idea ;)

LOL... your FOV and screen is "perfectly" adjusted, nice! But that tube?! That vent tube, did you build one to effect with screen? It doesn't shake as screen does. EDITED: LOL, yea, almost sure you did it, turn out great :D

+HazewinDog Thanks! yep you right there are some limits, such as the impossibility to choose among more classes and cars to race (for example DTM 92 together with the Touring Classics). but I much prefer the single player of R3E honestly, especially for the AI, which works quite convincingly on the majority of the tracks.. while on AC at the moment is the worst aspect imho, and also there isn't the possibility to doing championships
baronesbc I do championships in AC by creating custom career events. I also give AIs multiple setups (some with reduced downforce for instance) and some AIs will be at 100%, others at 99% and 98%. I have to manually update the grid order after each race, but it's worth it in my opinion. I have a Lotus Cup series on my channel where I did that, and just now I finished race 1 of my new GT3 series.
+HazewinDog Well done with the custom career, is a great idea! but the AI is very slow on most of cars, that's my big problem with AC. if you try a race with the Alfa GTA is almost embarrassing. and this happens with most of the road cars.. probably with GTs and Formulas as Tatuus it works better on some tracks, but they are categories that don't interest me. Instead on R3E there is a good level of challenge with all the car/track combo, although lately the AI has become a bit more slow i found. The best AI for me is on RF2 (followed by Automobilista and GSC), both on the track behavior, both for competitiveness. hardly you come to set 120% (only with some combos), because they are over-quick. so there is the possibility to choose and find the difficulty more appropriate to the own level, which is everything you need to enjoy an offline race imho, have an AI that runs to your same level to have good and close racing
baronesbc thank you ^^ I know what you mean. the AI in Assetto Corsa is still one of the weak points of the game, but I really like having the ability to use modded content and create championships/races exactly how I want them to be. sadly I found out that if I give GT2 cars medium compound tyres by forcing a setup, they still choose a different compound. I wanted to have GT2 and GT3 cars racing together, because with the same tyres they are about the same speed, but unfortunately the GT2 cars are much faster now... also I'm a slow driver, so in many scenarios 100% AI in Assetto Corsa is quite challenging for me. I usually need to set it to about 98-100% to match my skills.
+HazewinDog I believe we can also improve it. There is an application called "AI", but I never found the time to investigate it. basically it serves to create the ideal trajectory, and you can also increase efficiency in braking.. i would try it, although I don't think it will give huge benefits for road cars (yesterday I tried to race in Magione with Abarth 596 S2, I was faster than 10 seconds)...
