I used to think that watercolour wasn't for me, that I wasn't good enough and had no talent. But with your videos I've found my own way to the watercolour magic. I was so scared about the lack of control when I painted, but you've taught me to let go and enjoy the process. I have a painting date with my teenage niece next week. I believe that she uses watercolor in the same way she does her colored pencils. I can't wait to show her the magic of plopping paint onto wet paper and watching what unfolds.

I can't be 100% sure what disconnection you mean as we all perceive painted scenes differently, but it was my intention to create a very high contrast between the sky and the land, to portray that intense light right after the sun comes out after a big storm, making the land glow, and the receding heavy clouds almost black.
