I like Father Facts. You're a chill dude. I love your vids, and I'm happy to see the face behind the voice now! I'm always sifting through your videos while I'm eating or working on something. Your voice is good to help ground me.

I used to work as an employee trainer and was outside in the front of the building with other co workers when a guy I knew from a previous job came in for a scheduled interview (I was screaming on the inside since thie guy was horrible to work with and harassed me previously) he walked up to us and chatted for a while and he decided to light up a joint there, in the parking lot of the place he was looking for an interview. Not sure if it was my good luck or his band one but a police car passed through the area and spotted him, he said he was an employee there. This whole time we were seeing the conversation fearing he would drag us down with him but he didn't. The officer agreed to let him go if we called a manager, manager talked with the officer and once he left talked with the guy, once he knew he was here for an interview he just told him to leave and not come back. Dude didn't even set a foot inside, it's one of my favorite stories.

The one about lying about cancer made me sad because I’ve known people who’ve had cancer and one of them didn’t survive

Ooh I have one. This guy I used to work had absolutely no sense of social awareness. Management got multiple customer complaints about this guy being (non-sexually) inappropriate with them for example if he overheard two customers talking about what they were planning on making for dinner he was butt into their conversation and go "ooh what are you gonna make for me?" He once made a kid cry by taking the child's Pokemon hat off his head trying to "play" with them. It all came to a head when one day he decided to start tickling one of the 16 year old cashiers under her arms, he was 27. All while making disparaging comments about her size, she was under 5 feet tall (152 cm), and refused to stop when she told him to. Someone else had to pull him off of her and he couldn't figure out what he had done wrong. He was fired because the girl and her step-mother (who was a good friend of mine) threatened to press charges.

The last one reminds of a story from my hometown, 3 young men working late shift in McDonald’s filmed themselves making and adding their ‘special sauce’ to the ice cream machine, it went viral on local Facebook and they were all fired, the store was closed for a few days for deep cleaning and recruiting more staff etc, but not before a good few ice creams had been sold 🤢 police had to contact them via cctv and their cars etc to inform them and so they could press charges and go to court etc
Was a proper scandal and really put me off McDonald’s for a long time

The one about the Navy is absolutely 100% incorrect. The Navy is moving towards mental health safety and properly handling any and all situations. It isn’t the best but it is slowly getting better because people actually care now. It’s easier to get someone the help they need vs just losing a person/coworker. Most treat mental health as no different than physical injuries that would put someone on limited/light duty…you’re not going to go to work with a broken foot you’re not going to go to work if you’re dealing with a mental issue where you don’t have the tools to handle it. The days of getting kicked out immediately are absolutely over.

Firing someone for giving someone else a hug?? I don't know, it's not necessarily a malicious thing.

21:19 Daddy Facts I’m disappointed in you. You had a golden opportunity to talk about the movie Waiting, a movie literally about what happens when you mess with food service workers, and you didn’t take it!

So do you only have like 5-6 Reddit threads and now you just take one from each thread to make a new thread, they cycle back thru till you have enough? All of these are soooooo old. Like the poop hanging out of the toilet, one of the stories was it was a co-workers girl friend…

Story 14 Bankrobberies aren't very profitable, the tellers only have access to a limited amount of cash. Robbing a bank will net a few thousands, a quick google search tells me that for example the average amount of money stolen in the US during a bankrobbery is ~4000$. UK seems a bit more profitable with an average of >40.000, but still not the riches many would expect.
