As always, a quality video from a criminally underrated channel. I loved both Dark Cloud games when I was a kid, and lost far too many hours to Sphera.
I know nostalgia is somehow involved, but I can't for the life of me get into DC2. I played DC as a kid and loved it, and have replayed it multiple times since. DC2 on the other hand, I've tried to play about as many times and never got past the first forest before I just didn't felt like playing anymore. Awesome review tho, I might give it another try soon and hopefully I can make it to the end this time.
Recently my sister and I are replaying Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle, and on her file she's in Ch. 3, in mine I'm in Ch. 7, and after years, I finally have all the monsters badges! Now to help my sister get Sheriff Blinkhorn on her's, I dislike his challenge..... And then as for Dark Cloud itself, I still need to continue my file on that, only I'm playing it, I don't know if my sister wants to, she seems to prefer the 2nd more over the first one.
I agree with the thumbnail in the other video dark cloud two had Way too many mechanics. I love the Mac part, but I hated the whole build the park and alter the future by building a park that was dumb. I hated that in my collection, but I damaged the box, it’s not worth anything anymore

You know what, I see what you're saying! I've spent the last month or two wondering what everyone was talking about as it sounded pretty much fine played in speakers, but listening in headphones I can hear the swirling noise a lot more. Sorry.... My two later videos I did put a lot of effort into solving this (due to all the comments here), but it's still there a bit, but still much reduced. I'm always trying to improve things, but audio equipment is the one where it's hard to really fix with the limited budget of £0, while also being unable to fill my rented flat with audio dampening foam, haha. But thank you for at least giving me the chance and still sticking with me!
I never gave dark chornicle a chance as a kid, my brother said it sucked and assumed there was no worl building part to it..... then years later lmao I find out the building part comes way later and we only rented it for 1 day..sadly ! Not enough time to get into something . I guess we were very loyal to the first one. I also think the first game could of been better because of the history of it being rushed and pushed out before it was done. This is why capitalism ruins creative projects. I really hope one day maybe it gets remade.
I ever buy the right to this game by becoming a billionaire and I make dark cloud three the whole game is gonna be a Mac game no puzzles no try travelling garbage none of that crap he just go around about me kinda like that battle neck VR Wolfenstein game except for dark cloud
And judging on this video, I don’t like one either by the way you can buy this in Canada for $300 so it’s fucking expensive thank God I never spent $300 in this shit game. I’ll just enjoy this video now thank God.

@@plentyoflulu4694 it is something I'm always aware of. I had a bunch of issues with one mic not recording, etc, but it is probably the main thing I'm always trying to improve. Except with the much limited budget one would expect for a small video maker. But thank you, hopefully my next video shouldn't take over a month to make!
