How do you clean the panel line without damaging the paint applied? Is it okay if I use tamiya acrylic and enamel thinner instead of mr hobby lacquer thinner?
The way i learned watching is videos, is that gundam markers have lacquer in them and tamiya accent is enamel. Enamel don't eat trough lacquer, but lacquer would eat trough enamel. So you have to use markers first, clean with lacquer or rubbing alcohol, then tamyia accent and clean with Zippo ligthing fluid or enamel. Be careful, if you use too much enamel or lacquer will damage the plastic (had it happened to me).
Love your work and I can't wait to try this on my Sazabi! How do you keep the thinner from damaging the plastic? Do you work under a fan or something so that it dries faster?
Unless you soak the plastic into the thinner, you dont really have to worry about it damaging the plastic too much... He paints in very thin layer and small areas, there arent enough thinner in the paint to sit on the plastic long enough for it to do enough damage. I have seen horror pictures of broken plastics and I am sure they didnt paint like him - fast light coats. Painting like him, there is little to worry about (unless some old kits).

@@ianrmrz Part of the fun of model building is about experiments and discoveries 😉. If you havent tried brushing solvent before and is unsure, start with small areas. Start with outer armor pieces and avoid joins and moving parts. Usually thinners dont outright destroy the plastic. What happens is that they make the plastic brittle and hence easier to break and crack when pressure is applied; like when pressing two pieces together or when joins are affected.

Curious to why you use lacquer thinner with the Mr. Hobby paint before applying?
I guess they are lacquer based and he wanted to get a thinner consistency for a smooth coat of paint

건담 마커로 부분 도색하고 에나멜 패널라인으로 먹선 넣은 후 에나멜 신너로 먹선 수정할 때 마커로 부분 도색한 부분도 지워지나요?
다만 메탈릭 컬러는 광이 죽어버리니깐 에나멜 먹선을 넣을수 없습니다;;;

저는 왜 항상 애나멜 골드로 워싱을하면 안지워질까요.
실버는 잘 지워지는데 꼭 골드가 조금 시간이 지나면 꼭 지워지지가 않는데... 원래 골드 애나멜이 그런건지요...
골드가 침전물이 좀 많아서 유독 그렇긴해요 그래서 가급적 완전 마르기전에 빨리 지우시는게 잘 지워집니다~
