Hi awesome tutorial everything work's great just one question how to i bridge the wlan1 with one of the Ethernet ports so i can connect more aps on a switch
@Leonard - Go to "Bridge", then go to + symbol, click apply, click ok.
Next - Go to ports, and add eth2 (LAN) and wlan1 (Wifi) to the bridge - Just make sure your DHCP server is configured on the bridge1 and not on eth2 (LAN) anymore.

Hi, in this setup it will only be on the wireless side of things. For you lan to also have internet access but not go through the hotspot you will need to create a new bridge with your lan ports and give the bridge a ip in a different subnet. Configure a second dhcp server for the lan bridge and you will be good to go

Can I somehow setup throttling after the data limit is reached that instead of cutting the client off its only gives him severely rate limited bandwidth. Please assist. How would you go amount reporting what sites for example each user visits? Know of a way?

in STP on Protocol Mode, why did you use "none"?
I need to set up a Hex Lite if possible to :
Act as the dhcp server
Establish an ADSL connection through a snap bridged D-Link ADSL router on ether 1
Fail over to a 4G connection through a HUAWEI B315s-936 on Ether 2
Provide a Hotspot on the HexLite utilizing the WIFI facility provided by the HUAWEI
Establish a ppp connection to another Mikrotik irrespective of whether in primary or fail-over mode.
While I have found tutorials on aspects of this requirement, none cover the specifics in such a way as to adequately enlight this little mind.

Can we export the user as a monthly report for usermanager with all information about the user, uptime, or...?
I need your help. I have a Wi-Fi at home, and am sharing it with my family on that mean user. I need to create a new user for them and limit it's speed, so that i can use my Wi-Fi (my user) with bigger speed and let them use the use that is limited on speed.

after following these steps i get the error radius not responding ?
Is there a way that you can make it generate usernames and password that are random so that people can use them till their data is depleted etc..
Also sorry one more thing when people connect to your hotspot is it using the Mikrotik for DHCP or does it use your existing router, as i my existing one only supports 32 and i want to know if i can make this hotspot process support more users than that with these features ?

hi, i don't think there is a userman package available for the arm architecture at the moment
What was the use of User manager package?
You can find it at mikrotik.com/download just download the Extra packages for the correct board you are using

very good video, but my DCSP Server after setup is red and then i cant access userman
The problem might be that the interface the DHCP server is on is not on an active interface.
I don't understand why is the loopback interface
The loopback interface is only for running the hotspot server on. It is not a physical interface
any help on that please?
The best thing to do is to reset the router and start over again
i have done that but still getting the same feedback
