It goes without saying that having a good schematic is priceless. At least it is for me, because I'm nowhere near as good of a technician. So it takes me several days to finally figure out what is going on. I would never make money doing this gig. But what I learn thru time is priceless.
Luke why do you say a capacitor is "open" if you think it is actually shorted? Shorted across the cap plates or the wrong end is shorted somewhere else? Open has always meant the opposite of shorted to me…
This is just a vent comment, and not aimed toward you, as you are my favorite youtuber. WHATS hurting you tube? Too many butthurt creators. I cant even disagree with some of these guys without getting shadow banned. The ham radio dude banned me when i told him he needed to water his lawn, so parents wouldn't believe that RF is dangerous. Mike, K8mrd banned me for disagreeing with him, and calling him a rookie. (after he called me stupid) (he still don't know much) And there's been others. I pay $13 a month for a premium account, and as long as I don't say something sexist, racist, etc., I should be able to say it. Thats why youtube has changed their Algorithms to work on comments.

The coolest part in there is that clear thing because it makes a clicking sound when you press the mic.
