Mardi Gras is so beautiful and big! I live nearby the shipyard and have seen the whole prosess when she has build-up! 🛳 I was just filming when she leaved the shipyar and began her way to home 👌🤩

It was a singles cruise with bunk-beds in all the rooms. My sister and I went on this cruise and bunked with a girl that we had never met before. We had so much fun!
My sister and I went. It was single cruise and only had 4 bunk beds in the room. All the cruise was based on singles. Great time and I have my original tickets, souvenirs and "Carnival Capers" equivalent of "Fun Times" paper during the cruise. 42 years ago in Aug.
Given that we will not be cruising for some time, I would love for Carnival to do an in progress walkthrough video of this ship. I need something real right about now. The animations are nice but not real.

If they name a ship like the old Cunarders then they gotta paint and decorate them like that imo. Or build new ships that are more in line with the old ones but bigger and with modern amenities.
Used to go Carnival, but the food was worse every time. Last time it was inedible. Switched to Royal Caribbean Oasis Class and I'll never go back to Carnival. Yuk.

One thing I absolutely hate about new cruise ships are how the balconies don’t go to the edge of the ship. Nothing like going out on your balcony at 2 in the morning expecting to see a dark sky but blinded by the lights below you from exposed decks. Every time I go on a new ship like this I don’t waste my money on a balcony that isn’t private at all. I’ve been on 17 cruises and I love all the new things to do on newer ships just wish the balcony’s went to the edge of the ship.
This video is EXCELLENT. I was watching a really old promo video made in the early 1990s about the "HOLIDAY" ship, and they boasted about having a large window instead of a porthole hahaha, this new Mardi Gras has everything you could imagine!

For real I think they should have a huge main pool but since they are 6 pools I think the main pool should have been wider and long . But I think because the rooms are below and the weight of the pool might be trouble
Was so excited about this cruise, Carnival is now fighting our governor decision on not having vaccination. Carnival wants all passengers to be vaccinated sorry we won’t be cruising with carnival......
The ship looks kind of busy. I didn't notice many places to sit and relax without a crowd hovering about. I guess the traditional Promenade deck and seating are history. Sad.

Finally Carnival has its' design esthetic under control. Not so sure about the roller coaster though. Seems the quieter areas like Serenity and Loft 19 may have to deal with the noise from the coaster.
We know Covoid 19 is also very very excited to go cruising with all the lemmings. C19 ready to go & meet fellow cruisers. Insurance .. Nah who needs it ! How many Hospital beds onboard? Answer ... not near enough but we have a large morgue.....

Color palette on this ship is beautiful specially on habana cabins, really fresh and cool, the best of any cruise, second Scarlet's lady ones

I think the Serenity area will be far enough forward with the open midship pool area in between to isolate the sound.
