Cool mod. I live in Roane County. That building that you saw is the TVA steam plant. The water is all part of Watts Bar Lake. You spawn in Kingston. Awesome video!

I used to live in TN for 13 years. Great state.
But its not as good as Florida is with are bipolar weather and beautiful beaches.
Two similar things 'bout them though, summer's can be miserable.

IIRC Beam.NG has an issue where due to the insane size of the map items are not placed accurately enough for it to work. It was/was planned for this map though. Read the thread on the forums.
I am the author of this map. It is still a work in progress. There's currently about 7~8 miles of workable train track in v3, in two sections, with the majority of it being near the power plant, some in Downtown Harriman. These are linked up in the not-yet-released version. I keep finessing the tracks a bit more each time I load up the map, it gets better and better, slowly but surely. Give it time.
I will be putting up a new version monthly, until it's done, but you need a beast of a PC for it. The map currently uses 81% of it's total object allowance (downloadable version 75%), so that's how far it's done.
Something cool with a map this big would be to spawn up like 100 random cars (Pessimas, ETK 800s, stock Roamers, stock D15s, Sunbursts, etc), stuff that you would see normally on the road, then set them all to random and just have random cars driving around. However, that would probably destroy the AI and the whole game would probably crash.

on huge maps like this can you do a flyover with a plane or even the camera so we can see the general scale?
It'd be pointless you can't see the whole map because of the limited draw distance.

It's the TVA fossil plant. It produces electricity by burning coal and turning water into steam that turns turbines that spins extremely huge electric generators. The power plant in in Kingston Tennessee. Where he wrecked into that car with the cop SUV is the entrance to the plant. You can see it on google earth.

This is the Kingston-Rockwood-Harriman-Westel,Glen-Alice,Mid-way area (all those towns are plotted, 2 are partly built thus far - kingston and harriman).

Knoxville isn't in Roane county. It's Kingston, Harriman..etc. The smoke stacks are at the power plant in Midway.

YBR you should really get a engine sound mod. I really recommend Engines-Soundpack. It changes almostall of the sounds and makes them more realistic. :)
