Wow this looks crazy, elephant bathing! 🐘I know you saw stuff like this in Kenya in the past but this feels like a whole new thing haha
Hey Ale! We saw elephants while in Kenya and Tanzania but we have never seen them from this perspective. They were always on dry land. What a day it was!
What a unique assortment of animals! And I don’t think I’ve ever been to a zoo that had so much indoor space! That swimming elephant was everything!!!! So so cool!! Oh my gosh! A Santa scuba diver! Too cool! Love the music effects in this vlog! The music was really well matched and made it intriguing! Love you guys!! What could possibly be next?? 🙌
Your comments motivate us so much it's hard to put in words. ❤️ ❤️ We did not plan on going to the zoo here in Poland, but we are glad that we did. There were a lot more animals, but didn't want to be in the rain too long. You can spend all day in the Orientarium though, so that was a perfect additional. Great question!!!
Oh my gosh!!! The elephant bathing was the coolest thing EVER!! The animals habitats look great too! We love that!
Yea, we had some incredible experiences in Kenya and Tanzania, but the elephant bathing here in Poland was a first for us! Glad that the animals had a lot of room indoors and outside. But the dang rain was keeping them inside!
Well you sure did get some crazy good footage of the elephants from under the water, when he touched the glass I thought you might end up needing your swimming suits! Love the Father Christmas diver, that's a pretty cool feature just as long as the sharks don't get him! Looks like a great day out! You guys are having a blast in Poland!! Keep up the good work.
I am glad that they tested the durability of the glass before we visited the zoo. In the off-season I imagine Father Christmas has the kind of free time it takes to learn to scuba. The sharks won't mess with him because they do not want to end up on the naughty list. Loving Poland. Thanks Matt!
The richest ZOO with a similar attraction (Africanarium) is located in Wrocław. Two more similar oceanariums will be built in other cities. The Warsaw Zoo has a great and tragic history. You must visit the Żabiński villas on its premises. Who were the Żabińskis? You must see the movie 'The Zookeeper's Wife' (2017) American war drama film directed by Niki Caro, written by Angela Workman and based on Diane Ackerman's non-fiction book of the same name. The film tells the true story of how Jan and Antonina Żabiński rescued hundreds of Polish Jews from the Germans by hiding them in their Warsaw zoo during World War II.

Wow, that's what I love about Poland. During it's darkest hour, Polish people risked their lives to do what's right. I'm from Haiti. During our war of Independence, a Polish legion switched to our side against the French. Jeszcze Polska nie zginęła.

@@OnZLodzi.Nic sobie nie wymyśliłem. W Gdańsku oceanarium ma powstać nie przy ZOO ale obok Stadionu jako część dużego kompleksu wypoczynkowo hotelowego wystawowego. Budowa się odkłada w czasie bo mają jakieś problemy z finansowaniem. To ma być największe w kraju oceanarium dedykowane Ameryce Południowej. Nazwa tego obiektu, to Nautilus - oceanarium. Obok ma powstać laguna.
@@OnZLodzi. I doczytałem obecnie plany odłożone w czasie ze względu na kryzys. Za kilka lat mają wrócić do tematu. Te inwestycje realizuje Konsorcjum PFI Future. W Łodzi i Wrocławiu się udało zrealizować w partnerstwie publiczno-prywatnym. Tam drugim inwestorem były miasta, a w Gdańsku był inwestor pośredni czyli właściciel stadionu - spółką Arena Gdańsk. PFI Future planowała w Polsce 4 takie obiekty, dwa są już zrealizowane trzeci miał być Gdańsk.

Yea, we saw plenty of elephants in Tanzania but never under water either!

The sight of a swimming elephant brings me to tears almost immediately. How wonderful that in my country there is at least one such ZOO where the approach to these animals is very individual. I believe that everyone should take an example from this place so that their animals feel equally comfortable in their ZOO. With this approach, you don't feel like you're entering a prison where so many different wild animals are kept by force... here, looking at them, you feel like you're in a 4 star hotel on vacation.

When I first saw the thumbnail I thought I was seeing things and I know I wasn't hallucinating and I don't drink so I know I wasn't drunk just unbelievable what an incredible photo in real time I know the genius had to be the one to take this one she's the real deal, I live near a place called bush gardens which also have an amazing variety of cute animals and it was nice to see they all had their own separate living environments and I agree the elephant bathing show was awesome one of a kind so thank's again witytravels for sharing this wonderful experience from this amazing country called poland 🐘 🐘
These animals do have a lot of space. But it shows they prefer to stay out of the rain! lol. Elephant Bathing show was one of a kind! Thanks!

Yea, I don't know if their natural habitat would have water that color or what. They seemed happy and playful, so we don't know...
This is very interesting. My wife and I been to the zoo in Toruń, it was awesome 😎. But that's something to think about for my next trip to Poland.

Those otters looked kinda big. We’re they, or is my sense of scale off?
The sign said they are "giant otters." Wikipedia says they are from across north-central South America. They are the largest and noisiest otter!
