Now almost 2 years later I did 9000Km and still love the bike but in Juli I bought a KTM Duke 890R and did 6000Km that bike is amazing , It's not to compare but the only thing I don't like on my Benelli is the weight , for the price it's a really good bike but with 20Kg less it would be amazing .
Amazing bike. Not for riders less than 185cm I'm 190cm and 100kg and Leoncino 800 Trail is perfect for me. I have also few more ADV bikes 1200cc, but I really love Leoncino. Perfect bike for weekend ride 1000+km
They are lots of fun. A friend of mine bought the (standard one)800 Leoncino it’s a few inches shorter and much better for the smaller rider. I think the trail looks better though.
I need a big Garage for all the bikes I should buy. But I’ve not got enough money. I need about 30,000 more subscribers And then maybe I could have a collection. I can dream. 😭
It is a 19'' wheel at the front. This is the Trail, isn't it? The road model has a 17'' cast front wheel. It is a handsome bike. Does this bike have a 360-degree crank? The Leoncino 500 does, so it feels like an inline four. Very tractable. And very reliable. I'd have the 800 Rail, but I've got an SCR950 which has got a lot more low-down grunt.
I think it's beautyfull. Thinking of selling/swapping my new triumph scrambler 400x for this one. Have the scrambler for almost 4 months and did 3500k on it. A wonderfull bike and I love it but this is something els. Goin on a test ride soon I hope. My triumph garage as one for sale so I will test it and will ask what I have to ad to my scrambler's value to purchase this one.
Is it a good beginner bike for someone who is 187cm tall? I am looking for a similar style like this, I like scramblers, naked and coffee racers, so naturally this ticks all my boxes. 2nd choice is Aprilia Shiver 750/800, although i like the 750 version more. Benelli is a good choice for the price where i live, but is is it good for beginners and if there are other choices, please suggest them to me.
This is a good option for you. A decent beginner bike. It has enough power you will have lots of fun. Best thing for you is go and sit on one and see how it fits you. Let me know 👍
@@GillyBikes thank you for the feedback, i have yet to take two more lessons before the exam. I like to sort out the license before anything else, but i will return with thoughts and opinions about this bike for sure.
To be completely honest I’ve not heard anything but good things about these. I think the old ones had issues but these newer bikes have a much better build quality.
Why ? ... because they are way overpriced for a Chinese bike with an Italian badge stuck on it . They will depreciate like a stone and no doubt for good reason.
@@GillyBikes They do look superficially good I agree, but is that all that matters? What about quality of materials, quality of engineering and the pride of ownership you get from a quality product with a genuine proven track record ? Chinese bikes have come and gone over the years never to be seen again leaving customers with an unserviceable heap that most garages refuse to work on... says it all. These "Benelli' 800's" are actually Qianjiang 800's, a company that made its money churning out millions of disposable scooters. The fact is you can buy a genuine Moto Guzzi made in the original Italian factory with all their history, quality and heritage for the same price! ( ironically owned by the original scooter company Piaggio )
I have owned a benelli zafferano scooter for 4yrs. Virtually no issues very reliable. I will give you some things do seem a little more solid or put together. But by no means do they feel cheap and serve the purpose and function. I would wo question buy another Benelli. Everything depreciates.
Thanku david Jay, I was considering one of these after reading your comments I won't be touching one ,as the owner of a Chinese sunward excavator I dont want to fall for cheap crap again
They are 10000e in Ireland at the minute compared to a cbr650r they are 1500e cheaper and way better bike had a 18 cbr was crap abs didn't work well these bikes would blow Honda away hope to get one soon have a 400 imperiale it's brilliant this one would be the buisness great genuine review
Thank you. I’m still learning. Constantly upgrading kit. So I do appreciate it. This really is a great bike. It’s priced really well. Im really surprised at how few of them you see riding around.
I have my 800trail 4months and 3400Km , still love it !
It’s my favourite bike of the year. I’ve been on so many this year but this bike just did it for me. Such a great bike.
Greatings from Poland! I own Road version - made only a little bit over 2000Km, now 'hibernating' throught winter time..
Hopefully you will be back out on it in spring 😎
@@GillyBikes Counting each day to jump on it - Thanks..

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥amazing bike
Got a trk, it's a great bike, and draws a bit of interest, copes with anywhere in the lakes. That looks a lovely bike

Cheers mate. One of my favourites
Nice looking bike that 👍
It’s so much fun to ride.

Great video and review Gilly, nice bike 👍 but I’m addicted to Royal Enfields 😊
Cheers. I do like a RE myself. 😎

Beauty being in the eye of the beholder, I reckon Plumbers Nightmare. Sounds good though !
😂 it’s always down to personal preference. I love it 😍
I do like the digital screen 😊

This or suzuki sv 650 x? 🙄
I would definitely go for this over the the EV 650.
design is awesome by these Italian bikes but relayebility is not the best for these ones.....specially elektronics

Have a 502x since 21 not one issue and cheap servicing
@rorywcork I just picked a TRK 502x. My next long term loan from MotoGB. I’m looking forward to putting it through its paces.
who knows how many deggres is the crank?270 or 360?
270
did you buy it?
No
Because not in USA
Why ? ... because they are way overpriced for a Chinese bike with an Italian badge stuck on it .

If they depreciate like a stone then I will most definitely buy one second hand. I love the looks and ride.
