I agree about the horrible timing. The scoring didn't work. So I gave it two rounds with my alliance. And gave up after that.I think it got potential. But not as an 8 hour event. And especially not on mondays. I had 4 ships mining in token systems that got automatically recalled and I didn't get to keep any of the stuff i mined. So that made me angry
I do agree with you here. By the time I’d got home and sat down I only managed to get into 3 battles before it finished. Lag was a bit of an issue plus but it was fun. At ops 59 getting 5 players was an issue I found, so perhaps players will need to review there alliance’s.
I'm on US server 29 and arenas started at 3:00 pm here. I managed to get in on 2 attempts in the arena and i found it FUN. I normally don't like pvp but this was all FREE repairs. I did find it a little bit laggy but it's not terrible. Our team LOST both times but so what, we still got "something" for doing it. I would STRONGLY recommend watching Ultimatedjs OCT. 10 video he did while APAC tested it. Take Care Admiral.
In my honest opinion it would help you if you keep in mind that they are not looking out for your best interest that way you will not get flustered when they make certain decisions. My 2 cents
I'm on EU172, and most of my Alliance is at work. I live in Asia, therefore I could not get enough players to join me. I'm not going to waste my time playing it.

No good until the get the matchmaking fixed
I didn't enjoy it. I missed it. I was busy. The second event was bad for me. The opponent was always 100 to 200 x my size. Too big. Too fast. So ...
