Terranigma was a Game I played the first time with a friend of mine who couldnt speak or hear. We enjoyed everything together what the Game had to offer. Not long ago we were sitting together again and he managed to develope his hearing over years and we played Terranigma again but this time he was able to enjoy the music too. Nostalgia and one of the best experiences ever :)
Unglaublich, was Musiker leisten. Alles was du bildlich beschrieben hast ist exakt das selbe was ich fühle und innerlich sehe wenn ich diese Melodie höre! Mir kommen schon wieder die Tränen😢
Crysta is perhaps the slowest, most beautiful VGM track I have ever heard. It really does bear the feeling of lying on the grass on a warm summer's afternoon... its imagery is perfect and the song is perfect. I feel totally at peace when listening to this... with just that small tinge of sadness. Funny how in retrospect, this song conveys to me the tragedy of the end perfectly too... it really is a masterpiece huh? In all, I love this game and its soundtrack beyond words.
I remember I first NOTICED the song in Lourain. It was obviously an illusion of a town both happy and alive, and all I could think was 'Oh, please don't make me break that girl's heart and crash her happy world down around her!' Then zombies came out, and breaking Meilin's heart was the least of my worries.
I'm playing this game now, via rom. SNES broke years ago. It truly saddens me that I never got the chance to play this game as a kid. ...Damn this song is beautiful... *favorites*
Terranigma... I can't freakin' believe I forgotten this game... Don't know why the hell I feel so sad... I'm a grown up man who now has to work for his family and has a lot of "serious" things to do... Quitted videogames long time ago... And just the second I started listening to the song... Couldn't avoid to cry...
i remember hearing this after the game ended the ending really left a very painfull and sad feeling in my heart i would preffered a happy ending even if it were corny and cheesy it would be better than sadness (since i dont have a ''true art is angsty'' way of thinking)
My best jewel, the most brighteness, there are another favorites like FFVI or Legend of Zelda, but the mystic that content that game is unique. I really think that something so awesome deserves a reborn. When I died despite it not to be a heroe, will remember the fate of Ark and his sad final. A heroe that fought fearness believed be of the Light, when he was of the Darkness. I want to cry. T.T
The song sounds very similar to EarthBound's Smiles and Tears, especially the first few notes. This game is insanely fun and graphically impressive at the same time. Some of the visuals looks like it came out of a Sega Saturn game. What an amazing game. :)
You in the beginning: Oh, this song is so peaceful and relaxing! Crysta is like any other normal hometown of the hero. Quaint and homey. You at the end: I...but I thought...no...it couldn't be...*sobs*
@dlach524 Yeah! its with Zelda A link to the past the best Action Adventure for the SNES. I love the characters...this story...and the music... its so fucking wonderful.. i could cry if i remember how beautiful this game is...nostalgic...
@KiltaresMaurice Looks like you weren't the only one, My friend introduced me to this game in 2002. At first he didn't think I'd like it. But I loved it. Then in 06 he passed away to cancer. Every time I hear this song I feel like my friend is sitting next to me.
That is true. However, they will be living in total ignorance of the world around them; oblivious to the fact that their well respected elder is in fact an evil entity that created in imbalance between light and dark. The story between Ark and Elle is very much like that of Adam and Eve in which the blue door symbolizes the apple of knowledge. Who knows. We are all human and no matter what you believe in, the same themes applies to us all. All I know is that Terranigma perfectly reflects that :)
Indeed, it's a damn shame that this game never hit US. I'm a huge fan of Illusion of Gaia and this game was pretty much it's successor. It's sad that emulation was the only option, but I'm glad the option was there. The music stays in my mind to this day and Terranigma will be a game I never forget.
Welcome to my Childhood! At the Time i play this i cant even read and so i was thinken the whole game is about that town. xD Sorry for my english i am from germany.
want money so i can play this game.. illusion of time was so pretty, awesome story, music, feelings, everything.. and soul blazer was hardcore :P ..but this, hmm think its a bit lame, help famous people and raise u´p the world, interesting. im w8ing..
I am 15 years old play mw3 but.... this song..... I remeber when I was young around 6 years old me and my brother used to play this. I really like ps3 and modern games but the old snes games oh boy those games were adventures u had fun with those.its not like today.today u only care about to get high scores and shit.... I miss ;(,,, The snes thumps up if u do it do :(....
@BinhAzuta I don't think so i mean i can see it in my case i have it on the snes and on computer and i won't EVER sell my SNES or this game... even if it would fetch a fucking ridicoulus price nowadays NEVER... therefore it is too awesome... and if I have children later they will get to play it and even though there will be the ps17 or something they will just see how fucking awesome it is and will play it and they will always keep it and protect it... I just know
The one you fall in love with will become YOUR model. D Falling in love with the wrong person may not bring the same experience as someone you love, and care of, not because she looks good. So wait for your moment and do not go to crappy dating sites cause you're horny
@waldiNho1112 not funny not even the slightest bit... i lost my father to early for him to give me this game... so what means i am rating negative know? please think before you act... please... i mean i am not insulted or anything but i think you know what i mean btw... it is just as btsnes86 says sometimes i just put away my controller close my eyes and listen to this awesome music for 1 hour or 2 i just couldn't help but feel so damn good when listening to this

Schön gesagt
Unglaublich, was Musiker leisten.
Before playing the game: "Hey, cool music. Peaceful and like. I'm okay with this."
After playing the game: "Lie down. Try not to cry. Cry a lot."
Absolute same here!😢😅

In all, I love this game and its soundtrack beyond words.
That creaking, door-like (drum?) sound is awesome.
0:55 totally agree.
It's legendary
This music has a place in my heart, just like the game itself. It was part of my childhood, it shaped me, in a positive way.
Fiddlestickz1 Judging from your profile picture it didnt :D
Don't judge an account by his profile pic.. i guess :s at least that works with books

one of the best games ever... epic... and the soundtrack is more than great!
This tune makes me just wanna scream at Ark and ask "WHY OH WHY did you open the box???? You and Elle could have lived happily ever after *cries* :( "
I remember I first NOTICED the song in Lourain. I beat Terranigma for the first time a few months ago, and I can say without the nostalgia bias that this is an amazing game, as is the whole series.
I literally burst into tears when I saw that and heard the song. This game is the best ever.
2020 and I still cry remembering that ending :'(
I'm playing this game now, via rom. SNES broke years ago.
It truly saddens me that I never got the chance to play this game as a kid.
...Damn this song is beautiful... *favorites*
How I love this game... I remember just putting the control-pad aside for hours, just listening to the music of this fabolous masterpiece
This piece of music is one of the three reasons why I find Terranigma highly enjoyable
Same! I'm 40 now and still play games. But this kills my heart every time!
i remember hearing this after the game ended
the ending really left a very painfull and sad feeling in my heart i would preffered a happy ending even if it were corny and cheesy it would be better than sadness (since i dont have a ''true art is angsty'' way of thinking)
Anyo Gambito, yes :'')
This game is one of the best games what i played, one word to describe this game is beatiful :')
I listen to this when im tired, and then i feel reborn...
it's just beautiful.
i am a lucky guy that bought it 16 yrs ago...my favorite snes game
A beautiful song, with a tinge of sadness.

Das zeitlos beste Spiel aller Zeiten.

You at the end: I...but I thought...no...it couldn't be...*sobs*
I never played the game, But I LOVE how the song sounds. So peaceful
I really love this game and this soundtrack!
@KiltaresMaurice Damn, man. That's really touching. Sorry for your loss.
everytime i hear this song i feel at home...
This game reminds me a cross between A Link to the Past and Chrono Trigger because the gameplay and the music
Terranigma can't be beaten
@dlach524 Yeah! its with Zelda A link to the past the best Action Adventure for the SNES. I love the characters...this story...and the music... its so fucking wonderful.. i could cry if i remember how beautiful this game is...nostalgic...

Terranigma ftw

@KiltaresMaurice Man, when I was listening to this song and I read your comment, I cried.
Sorry about your father.
I love how this music plays at the end of the game, right when Elle opens the door...
@KiltaresMaurice
I must say, it didn't expect to feel so touched by a comment on RUclips.
@KiltaresMaurice, that is so sad. I'm sorry for your loss.
Sad but true. :(
Nostalgia; a wonderful and terrible feeling at the same time..
Jedes mal wenn mich einer fragt/fragen wird: "Was ist dein allerliebstes Spiel was du je gezockt hast?", werde ich sagen "Terranigma...".

*cough*EightMelodies*cough*
I know it's meant to be a callback to In the Earthen Womb (IoG) but this piece always reminded me of Clapton's Tears in Heaven somehow.
I'm home...
Das ist so...friedlich.
Use Terran Prime C++.
PRIME Terran Prime C++ BY Terran Prime C++.
today Quintet has become Shade. ^^
Naja... ^^
hmm good song but doesn't seem anything like itory theme for itory village.
It seems like some of the other tunes.
Something about the melody of this reminds me of Earthbound. Agreed?
The one you fall in love with will become YOUR model. D
