Your videos are a wonderful complement to classes. It's great to have reference material to correct technique, and that can be followed and practised at home. Instructors do not seem to have time to do all this in classes.
I have difficulty using figures from classes in social dancing. But following these videos, where you do all the technique, timing, and tips, with enough practise at home it works. The variations are great, and dance partners seem more amused by the variations than by one figure after another. Slowly partners show more amusement/fun than the slightly puzzled expression that I see a lot!!!

Just came upon your videos. Your stuff is awesome. Very easy to learn from. I'm pretty good at picking things up just by seeing them danced on a video, so your generally quick and efficient videos are a good level of detail for me, and you do fun and nice patterns and combinations.
So I'd like to support your general sentiment: you have great artistic judgement, as to what to teach and how to teach it, so just do what you feel is most productive.

As someone who has been watching your content for a year, I want you to know that the low numbers are not because of the quality of the videos at all.
Let's say X is the number of people who come to RUclips on a daily basis. What % of them are even interested in dance? Of those what % like specifically salsa? Of those what % go as far as wanting to learn salsa? Of those what % pass the basic level and develop an interest in advanced techniques? Of those what % want to learn that specific technique you are teaching in the video?
As you can see your target market is by nature very niche which is not very favorable when your revenue relies on ads and the number of views. If you plan to keep doing tutorials, I believe that's the right mindset you expressed in the video. If you like the views, people are interested in outrageous behaviour, drama, exaggeration, personal stories, rivalry, etc. Whichever route you take please do not leave because I really love you guys ❤

Look, I can't convince you to continue for you, for many reasons..,
but for me, and for all the viewers I really want you to continue, because thanks to you I really learned significant things, and I haven't mentioned the vibe that I love so much, so what can I say?
      Good luck to the future
And thank you for the past

I feel you my friend. Everything you say is true, rational but as a content creator, it’s hard to apply sometimes :) Let that be my goal for 2024 too :) À bientôt Ilias!

I think, you shouldn't quit youtube...you should go on and teach new figures with technics... I loved your previous video and gave me an inspiration about my dance to take it to the next level although I'm dancing for 22 years for latin dances like salsa and bachata, I'm learning new things from you and correct my mistakes while dancing...

I went to my first salsa lesson a week ago. It was the most uncomfortable I’ve felt in months, I really did not like it. I’m a very slow learner when it comes to this stuff and even though the lesson wasn’t fast paced it was too fast for me. I spent the following days watching some of your beginner videos over and over again, often using the feature on RUclips that slows down the video. Today, I forced myself to go back and attend my second salsa class. I loved it. I was able to keep up with the pace of the class and that’s mostly thanks to you.
The algorithm placed this video on my feed, and I’m really happy you’re not quitting RUclips, because I need you so that I can prepare myself for next week.

Hola Jefe, Thanks for the videos.
If you need ideas, here are a couple that require interaction with the comments:
1- Ask the viewers to give their pet peeves, present an example with Amanda and suggest a method or two of addressing it.
2- Ask instead what is the problems your viewers encounter, then make a video on typical mistakes and how to correct them.
Example for me: Pet peeve, some ladies when they turn start grappling your fingers... I correct it by typically using 1 or 2 fingers, but some still find a way to grab on for dear life in an attempt to either keep their balance or rip the wrist for the hand that turn them... 😊
