The io is incredible. I have a huge lounge and it fills the space paired with QAcoustic floor standing speakers. I have a Rega planar 2, iFi Bluetooth DAC receiver and switch a CD player whenever I feel like. Takes a few seconds. Do not hesitate. The io packs a punch.
I think for the majority of us that listen and enjoy the musical experience more than drooling over the wondrous machine beguiling our ears, this amp is perfect. It is what it is and a lot more of what it shouldn't be for the price and succeeds where so many fail. Simply entertaining.
Hi, I am planning to change my amplifier confused which one to go for Rega Brio R or Rega IO Will they match with my existing bookshelf speakers wharfedale 12.1 and have denon network player. Want your advice which one would be best one to go for it Many thanks and looking forward to hear from your end soon. Best... Zubin
Hi Zubin, thanks for watching. Great question! Whilst the IO and Brio are more than capable of dealing with the Wharfedale 12.1, the Brio will give you more detail and a wider soundstage... Also, the Brio will give you more future proofing should you ever want to upgrade your speakers. Be sure to let us know if you have any other questions. All the best - Brad, Audio T
Hey Shaun, thanks for watching. Whilst the IO would indeed be suitable for the Evo 4.1, you’d certainly get a bigger sound with the Brio, both in sound stage and dynamics. All the best, Brad - Audio T
Hi Martin, Thanks for watching. Yes, I did have a little play with them at our Portsmouth store and was very impressed with the response in detail as well as the size of sound stage! You're welcome to contact your local Audio T store to arrange a demo of the two 😉 All the best - Brad, Audio T
Hi Michael, Thanks for your question. On paper, the Rega IO should work fine with the TDL-Electronics RTL2 floorstanding speakers. The best thing to do is give it a try! You can either speak to your local Audio T about a home demonstration or order the product online here - audiot.co.uk/p-28456-io.aspx?st=Rega%20IO&si=28456 - and take advantage of our 14 day returns policy. If you want more information on this, speak to our online store via onlinestore@audio-t.co.uk - Thanks for watching, all the best - Brad, Audio T
Hi there, thanks for your enquiry. That seems about right to me as they have rather shallow inputs. Assuming you bought the amp from us, you can speak to your local store if you have any concerns - audiot.co.uk/storeinfo.aspx?findstore=1 - Thanks for watching, Brad - Audio T
I purchased my first Hifi from the Enfield shop in 1983.. A Dual turntable, Creek amp and Kef Coda 3 speakers ...... The turntable was sold and replaced with a Rega P2 again from the Enfield branch and the speakers were given away and replaced with better Kefs . The creek needs replacement now.....
Hey Martin, thanks for watching and thanks for your continued custom 😁 Are thinking of giving a Rega a go or are you thinking of something else? Be sure to get in touch with the gents at Enfield and book a demonstration to try out a few options. All the best - Brad, Audio T
@@audiot I predominantly use my hifi to play my 60s/70s vinyl collection so the Rega IO with a phono stage sound about prefect at that price. I understand there are none in stock at this time.
@@MARTINA-gc3tq Hey Martin, we have plenty of IO in stock! 😊You can either either speak to the guys at Enfield or order online for home delivery here - audiot.co.uk/p-28456-io.aspx?st=rega%20io&si=28456 - Cheers, Brad - Audio T
I had to replace the mains lead on mine so loose if I pulled the amplifier forward it just fell out made in China on the plug replaced it with an old audiolab one I had that was fine just be aware if you buy one.
Thanks for the input Keith! Always good to hear back from the users about the good and the bad. As with any Hi-Fi, you'll find that an upgrade to the mains cable can provide a big improvement to the audio quality. Hi there, thank you for watching. I honestly can't say that I've compared the two as Cambridge Audio is owned by Richer Sounds. Now I know that their products are designed in Great Britain, but they are made in China. The Rega IO is designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK. So at the price point is an absolute steal! You could always purchase one from our website at www.audiot.co.uk and if you don't like it, return it within two weeks of delivery. All the the best - Brad, Audio T

I have to ask, are your speakers q3050i’s as I’m thinking of an io for them but I’m told it’s not powerful enough?
@@kkjrees The amp drives them beautifully.

Thanks very much for advice and will definitely go for Brio R, and will be touch with you for the purchase of it
I’d like to know if this amp would be suitable for the wharfdale evo 4.1 speakers?
Or would the brio be better?

Will this work well with a pair of Tdl-electronics rtl2 speakers in a smaller room? I use a rega planar 3 with a Denon DL-110 cart.
