This part did not disappoint! Very enjoyable, some stunning scenery (notwithstanding the logging) and a great video.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was memorable day due to distance I covered that day - long day but great walk.

Nice one Sebastian, decent shift you put in that day! I reckon that deer will be fine. Looked worse than what it was. Midge-dorado, I'll remember that one. 😁

Thanks, Robin. It was good day and at the end the walk so pleasant that I missed my planned camping spot. But even that worked out well. Good memories.

Nice one Seb! It's good to talk with fellow walkers on the trail! Glad you found out which part of Scandinavia they were from :-)

Well, that was the only human encounter I had that day. Hehe... It's really deserted trail.

It seems the Scandinavian like carrying lots of gear when hiking, I noticed this as well when walking in Sweden- lightweight revolution or revelation hasn’t arrived.

Interesting - seems that they value durability over weight reduction. And what's funny I just received an ordered package from the light-weight backpacking shop based in Sweden. :)

Sounds like their were a lot of international hikers out Seb. Good to meet up briefly. I wouldn't like their size packs though. Do they know what they're doing? Any way, this was a little more mountainous. Still good. Mark

I'm not sure about "a lot" but definitely majority. Most likely locals are on Tenerife. ;) They looked to be expirienced, at least a few of them. We talked briefly about trails in Sweden and how King’s Trail, or Kungsleden is overcrowded. I do not know how they did as I lost touch with them after Loch Laggan. The mountains are there, around, but on this trail you just do not climb them and just meander through the valleys following rivers. It's good walk, though.

@@3WalkingPoles Yeah I'm sure their was experience amid the group. The walk sounds great. I love them valley walks following the rivers as you know. My recent trek on the River Ithon ruclips.net/video/yeCKgrUTC9w/видео.html was a good one Seb. It's here if interested. I did go up and down a fair few times mind but in the main easy walking. I will continue with the other episodes.

Thank you very much. It's very kind of you to say that. After first quite boring day I welcomed this chance in scenery with joy because, as you said, it was beautiful. But the best is still to come.
