  • Will God Save Everyone??
My guest for Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 - show is my good friend Michael King! Visit his website: www.thekingsof...
Michael has 9 great book there for you to read, plus many great articles.
In this compelling episode, Gil Hodges and Michael King engage in a deep and thought-provoking discussion around two profound questions: Is God all-powerful, and can He save everyone? Their conversation dives into these complex topics, offering fresh perspectives and deep insights that promise to captivate listeners and provoke thoughtful reflection.
    Key Highlights:
    1. Understanding Salvation:
The discussion begins with Gil posing the fundamental question: What does it mean to be saved? Both he and Michael challenge traditional views, emphasizing that salvation is more than just reciting the sinner's prayer. It's about calling out to Jesus and experiencing freedom from sin, death, and all forms of spiritual bondage.
    2. Identity and Sin:
Michael introduces the concept that sin, or "hamartia" in Greek, means "missing the mark," signifying not knowing one's true identity. Gil adds that Jesus came to save humanity from this distorted self-perception, guiding individuals to realize their divine identity and live free from the bondage of sin.
    3. The Role of Programming and Belief Systems:
The conversation highlights how upbringing and societal influences program individual beliefs. Gil and Michael explore how breaking free from these programmed beliefs and embracing true identity in Christ can transform lives. Gil shares personal experiences of overcoming rigid belief systems and finding freedom in a broader understanding of faith.
    4. God's Unyielding Love:
They dive into the idea that God's love is inescapable and permeates all creation. This challenges traditional views of hell and eternal damnation, suggesting instead that God's love continually reaches out to every soul, offering redemption and restoration. Gil passionately explains that God’s love is ever-present, even in the most unexpected places.
    5. The Power of Choice:
A recurring theme is the power of choice. Gil emphasizes that God's greatest gift is the ability to choose, reflecting true love. Even after death, the choice to accept God's love remains, showcasing God's relentless pursuit of human hearts. Michael agrees, adding that true love can only exist where there is genuine choice.
    6. Predestination and Free Will:
Addressing the age-old debate of predestination, Michael clarifies that the Bible speaks of being predestined to be conformed to the image of Christ. This predestination doesn't negate free will but invites individuals into a journey of transformation and alignment with God's will. Gil concurs, stressing that understanding our identity in Christ is crucial to grasping predestination.
    7. Sowing and Reaping:
The law of sowing and reaping is discussed as a crucial factor in life experiences. By choosing positive thoughts and actions, individuals align with God's abundance, attracting blessings and positive outcomes. Gil and Michael share personal anecdotes and biblical principles that illustrate the power of this spiritual law.
    8. Practical Takeaways:
Practical advice is offered on engaging intimately with God, recognizing and dismantling negative programming, and embracing one's identity in Christ. Both Gil and Michael emphasize the importance of community and support in this journey. Gil highlights the transformative impact of the Choice Community and its role in fostering spiritual growth.
This episode weaves a rich tapestry of spiritual insights, practical wisdom, and profound truths, inspiring listeners to explore their faith more deeply. The engaging discussion between Gil and Michael promises to expand understanding and ignite spiritual growth, making it a must-listen.

Good convo. It seems to me salvation is being saved from a false identity that covenants with death. Death is about aborting or missing the purpose for being. It is about embracing identity that is not in keeping with the identity the creator intended for you. In other words Adam died or was no longer capable of fulfilling purpose because he exchanged his identity as the image and likeness of God.
This is what hell and death are, living out a false identity and purpose we create for ourselves that denies the image and likeness of God we are, and it only brings us suffering and self loathing.
Praise God in Christ, we are restored as sons to original intention of expressing the image and likeness of God to the cosmos.
